Nice room but disappointed we were on a very low floor, especially as big metro construction immediately across road. Otherwise location is convenient. Only other issue we had was the very small hotel signage to the street- no footpath or canopy signs so makes it very hard to find it. Needs bigger signage.

Excellent location and clean modern property. Tip for other travelers: Reception for internet (using own data) is terrible in the room; had to sit in the corner near the window (same experience in my last stay). Can have long wait times for the lift to get to the room at peak times when shared with outside patrons for the bar.

I didn’t like reception being on the 21st floor. We checked in late on Friday night, and were unable to hear the staff due to the nightclub on the 22nd floor. We also were tired from travelling and did not find the 21st floor a welcoming, or relaxing space due to the loud music. Also, we are not sure if there was an issue with the lights, but we found the entrance on the ground floor was dark which is also not very welcoming. After a full day of walking on the Sat, we planned to have a nice soak in the heated pool, but at 9pm on Sat this pool was not heated as advertised on your website.

The room was lovely with all the amenities you would expect for a 5 star hotel and close proximity to transport. The bar is very expensive. Very disappointing the pool was too cold to enjoy and the main reason I picked this hotel was to relax and enjoy the heated pool as advertised.

Well designed king room with great light and all of the amenities plus a washer and dryer! Restaurant and bar quality and service are outstanding and the concierge is very helpful. Gym and pool are small but functional and there’s a Peloton bike!

Rooms are spacious and well lit. Every member of staff we interacted with was helpful. Only thing they can improve on would be the heated pool was not really heated and water was freezing…traveled in Nov!

Everything was great, have stayed at A by Adina previous. But they had lift problems this visit, leading to long delays in moving in and out of the hotel. But I'll stay again, as its so central, convenient and quality.

The room was lovely actually. A nicely laid out suite. Bed was comfy and the aircon worked well. Overall it was a nice stay. There are definitely a few issues though. The bathroom shower flooded the whole bathroom floor in our room. A shower curtain circles the shower head but the lay and fall of the tiles takes the water to the middle of the room and over the vanity/sink area. Poorly done. The room has a smart controller for the lighting, blinds, and curtains. It automatically welcomes you when you enter. It would be nice if it stopped there. Twice when we were in the room it the system randomly did its own thing. Opened all the window coverings as we were dressing. Turned off all the lights as we sat there talking. A mind of its own and over engineered. Keep it simple. I absolutely hate when you are navigating the tv screen for hotel information and the instruction is to go get your phone to take a photo of a QR code on the tv screen you are already looking at, to then navigate to your tiny phone and read the info there. Just show it on the TV screen! You're already looking at it. And then...clicking on "Hotel Info" just circles you back to the homepage and doesn't give you any information. Stupid and a basic fix. Two of us could not find anywhere, the details and prices of the Mini Bar supplies. Nowhere to be found. Robes weren't in the room and we called for some. They brought us what seemed more like swimming pool robes than bath robes but they were ok.

Not convinced on the performance on this hotel, lack of attendance and quality. I hardly give feedback on hotels but here it is necessary. A) I asked for a quiet room and was assured by reception I had one. To my strong surprise my room was facing a construction site where they started at 06:30 with bore hammers and breaking rocks. I should have thought of this when entered the Hotel and airplugs on the night table. B) Worse of all is that the Fire Alarm did not work. It has been sounding I heard from others, it only came some broken up messages that was impossible to understand other than I decided to walk down the stairs from 13th floor. This happened in the night. When I came out in the street no one understand anything and extremely poor contingency and organizing from the employee....it was NO ONE present! C) The basin in the bathroom was blocked and water hardly went down D) The holder from the shower head on the manuual shower was not working and hanging down completely. Above item C) and D) was definetely observed by the room attendants but nothing happened.

The check in process was slow and complicated by fact the property went to charge me again for my reservation despite having already paid. It took about 10 minutes to resolve which isn’t a long time in the scheme of things but after a full day of travel it’s not exactly what you want. The room was ok except for the dust that was everywhere - on the curtains, around the bed and on the walls. The curtains auto open when you enter the room which is a cool feature except for it sprinkling dust everywhere which exacerbated my partners asthma. One of the towels provided was dirty with makeup stains everywhere on it and the door to the bedroom was falling apart. The amenities in the room are good as is the location / proximity to darling harbour etc however I would not stay here again. I booked a non-refundable room but did reach out to Expedia following the experience, they were unable to get me a refund/ partial refund but were incredibly helpful.

When staying in Sydney CBD we always stay at A by Adina, however the last few times we have noticed the cleanliness of the room is slipping. There was so much of dust in the room and bathroom with hairs clumped as well. It was so thick you could scrape it of the floor. Aside from this the room is comfortable and staff friendly.

The room was perfectly clean and nicely fitted out with a kitchenette and laundry cupboard. Everything is modern and functional with big TVs and electronic controls for blinds and curtains. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. I seldom have a great experience in Australian hotels but this place is a gem.

Rooms were nice and clean, though the one we got given was really long and skinny (1brm with balcony) - quite awkward to get around. The balcony was a complete waste as there was so much construction noise outside that you couldn't even go out there. Maybe once all the external construction is done, I might go back, but I suspect that's going to be a year or longer.

This hotel is a good example of technology gone nuts! Everything is dark and depressing and while the height of cleanliness and modernity, it would be good if the curtains didn't suddenly open and close and the lights come on without activation. I know it was Halloween, but I don't think it was haunted! The elevator system is perplexing to say the least and some staff members agreed. Speaking of staff there were some lovely young people and some who need to check their attitude and be more hospitable and less officious. Breakfast had a reasonable range but my pancakes were burnt around the edges. After staying at Hotel Indigo in Melbourne last weekend I woulld have to say that the Adina experience in Sydney was sadly disappointing

Have been staying at the Adina-A several times over the past few years and highly rate it. The staff are wonderful, location perfect. My only ongoing frustration is how to work out those challenging drapes/ automated blinds that keep opening and are very hard to close them to the desired spot - I lost several minutes each day battling the blinds!!! If this could be sorted, I’d go back to giving 5 stars.

Great location for catching trains, light rail etc. beautiful view from level 15. Room had everything we needed. Izzy was amazing, she was kind and welcoming even with our millions of questions. We did however encounter another staff member (we didn’t catch his name) who was quite rude, didn’t acknowledge us waiting and was quick to dismiss us when we checked out and left our baggage.

I think it wasn't worth the price we paid and didn't include breakfast. Our room faced onto a noisy street and we couldn't get the room dark enough so was bothered by the street lights outside. It was nothing special.

This is the second time this year we have stayed at A by Adina. We just love the apartment feel of the rooms, the location opposite Wynyard and light rail just outside, and having a little tipple at the sky bar. We just enjoy the overall vibe of this place. The only criticism is the room we had this time around had no windows, which wasn’t a huge deal but also did not have much ventilation. My husband made the mistake of closing the sliding door to the room and I woke up hot and congested. It was hard to breathe. If you end up in one of these rooms, keep the door open! Otherwise enjoy your stay at A by Adina!

Bed is comfortable. The coffee machine was missing a part and not set up to work (ie safety plastic not yet removed) but the staff were lovely & replaced it. The blinds and curtains are really frustrating to work out. They are at most entertaining but yes frustrating.

We were woke up at 4.30am with the blinds and curtains opening and closing, the air con switching on and off and loud noise from the door. This went on all morning and we ended up checking out at 7am. Not a good stay

No upgrade despite Expedia saying upgrades would be given if available. The TV turned out to be broken and then we got moved to a better room. So upgrades were available they just weren’t honoured. Some staff were nice, others were short, hung up on us when we called reception. Overall short of the price we payed.

The staff is the best asset. They are very friendly. I like the location. It was easy to come and go. I enjoyed so much my first stay that I came back for another day before departing Australia. Looking forward to come back to Sydney and to stay back at this hotel.

Fantastic location near train and light rail links and easily walkable to the main harbour areas. There was a system issue when we arrived but the manager and staff handled the situation incredibly calmly and were so helpful. The room was lovely and the works happening nearby that the hotel warned us about were not disruptive as there was good soundproofing.

We were wowed as soon as we arrived. Every staff member we encountered both acknowledged and greeted us, had a great sense of professionalism and humour (a rare combination) and did their best to ensure we really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were stunning. The lighting especially gives the entire hotel a soothing ambience and really elevates the experience. The bar was fantastic. The drinks were whimsical and curated very well. Everything we tried was incredible. The hotel also has a rather convenient location with access to Wynyard Station right out the front. Highly recommend this location.

Took me over 30 mins to check in. When I eventually check in, the room I was allocated was not cleaned after previous guests. Then I had to go back to get keys for another room. Not an experience you need when you are tired and desperately in need of rest.

A By Adina is a great, chic hotel located on George Street between high-end shops and Circular Quay. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which is actually a one bedroom apartment with an interconnecting second bedroom. There is noise from the construction of the Hunter Street metro station which starts at 7am.

Comfortable, quiet and so close to different public transport options. Very close to the mall, Chinatown, Capitol theatre and Circular Quay. All are walking or public transport away. Staff are friendly and helpful. I did do a bit of floor elevator hoping but its good after someone explains how it works.

Really lovely hotel. Excellent location. Clean, modern and has everything you need. A little on the pricey side, especially in the restaurant / bar. In fact my only criticisms are of the restaurant / bar - limited menu (especially dining options) and pricey for what it is. Otherwise a great hotel.

Our stay was incredible. I have stayed at a few more expensive hotels in the area recently and they do not compare at all to this. The service was great, the hotel is lovely, the location is great for walking to restaurants and shopping. Food was great. Highly recommend, we will be back.

Property was beautiful and in the perfect location for a few days in the city. Right next to Wynyard station. Only faults were the app you needed to use to get service. Tried to get ice deliveried to room and was told to use the app but was then unable to. Would prefer compendium available via TV. Dean and Nancys cocktail bar was amazing but happy hour should be more extensive. A really beautiful hotel. Staff were lovely.

The accommodation was clean contemporary and self contained. The hotel had a roof bar and restaurant I was unfortunately unable to take part in but from all reports it looked lovely. Mobility issues were experienced as the elevators were not very big. The food that came through room service was delivered in a timely manner still hot and worth the price tag. The price tag is expensive and if time permits I would look at alternatives. Please do not take this as a judgement on the food it was delicious but two mains and a dessert with non alcoholic drinks? 106 dollars. The mains were fish and chips make your own minds up from that. Lastly I was overcharged at check out the management team took care of it and it was resolved but it was the biggest downside to my stay

Väldigt fina rum. Hotellets sky bar hade en bra meny, professionella bartenders som gjorde riktigt bra drinkar, god mat. Lite krångel med hissar och receptionen initialt men det fungerade bra när man vant sig. Kan definitivt rekommendera detta hotel och då har jag trots allt 2000 resdagar.
