I would not recommend this place. Pictures and reality are quite different.

Very very modest quality accommodation. Not the value that I hoped for

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed multiple mosquitoes on the pillow, the blanket and on the walls. We contacted the front desk, but were told that there were no other rooms available. We then asked to speak with the manager to see if they could offer a refund or any form of compensation due to the condition of the room. Unfortunately, the manager completely refused to offer any compensation. We were essentially told that our options were either to cancel the reservation and deal with Hotels.com ourselves regarding the refund, or simply stay in the room. The hotel would not offer any compensation directly. We were very disappointed by the lack of effort to find a reasonable solution, especially since we reported the issue immediately upon arrival. They said they would come to clean it up the next day, but they never came. The air conditioning was noisy, and the bathroom was not particularly clean. Tea bags were provided in the lobby, but there was no hot water available to make tea. Guests would have to go across the street to a convenience store if they wanted to get hot water or a drink. It was not a pleasant visit.

Our first interaction with the staff was very disheartening as we were asked to sit in a chair and wait for 10 minutes before they dealt with us. The next day we asked for a few items for the bathroom, were told they would show up, but never did. Finally, after a second request we received a bath mat and a hand towel. Not sure I would recommend staying in the neighborhood as there were homeless, and at night, it was a constant shouting match with people in the street.

The room was listed as a "double" room, but we were charged extra for being 2 adults in the room. The window opened onto an alleyway with strong smells from the nearby restaurant that were not pleasant. The door code was changed but we were not informed. Messages from the property that had to come through Hotels.ca, via an attachment, were hard to access - my phone told me I was not logged in with the correct email account. Anticipating these difficulties, I TWICE requested to be sent check-in instructions a day early, but they were not sent early.
