Luxury 5 bed Villa with Heated Pool and Stunning Sea Views - 5min walk to Beach

We stayed at Casa Mimosa in 2022 and liked it so much we rebooked for 2024. Absolute perfect location as only a 5 or so minute walk to the beach (it's a very steep hill though so be warned as the walk home can take longer!). The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We are cooks and the kitchen had all we needed. The pool area is relaxing and hardly overlooked (a plus for Cala Vadella) and perfect for eczema/bad skin sufferers as it's salt water so no chlorine. The bedrooms and bathrooms are relatively small but have all you need with decent storage. I simply can't find anything negative to say about the villa at all - we will definitely be back again in the future - Thank you Jackie (and Emelie the housekeeper who did a great job)!!

We had a fantastic stay in this villa. The entire house is very well-equipped. The fact that the pool is heated was a huge advantage. We made eager use of it. An outdoor shower and a boiler that could give all the indoor showers hot water at the same time would make the villa absolutely perfect. On-site communication with Chrissie was also very good. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette grande et magnifique villa. D’abord l’emplacement est top, à 5 minutes d’une plage magnifique, et une vue magique sur les couchers de soleil depuis le roof top très bien aménagé. Ensuite la villa est magnifique, déco très agréable, spacieuse et ultra bien équipée notamment pour les enfants (il y a 2 salons TV, des barrières pour sécuriser les petits de partout, des jeux à leur disposition : ping pong, billard, console PS4, bouée, jeux de plage jeux de société, petites voitures, jeux d’extérieur, chaise haute, lit bébé, babyphone, vaisselle enfant etc…). Ensuite les extérieurs sont très agréables et chacun peut y trouver un coin tranquille. Nous avons apprécié en avril la piscine à 32 ! Nous avons bien aimé aussi les beaux livres sur Ibiza! Merci !

Ein Haus mit toller Aussicht. Liebevoll und wertig renoviert mit vielen Outdoor Sitzmöglichkeiten. Viele Spielmöglichkeiten und nicht zuletzt ein toller Pool. Um das Haus finden zu können, sollte die genaue Adresse angegeben werden.

Amazing property and location. We would definitely stay here again. The walk to the beach was 2-3min at most and was super convenient on days we wanted to just have a beach day. The pool was a great size at the property and the overall layout was brilliant enabling family members to each have their own space if they wished to.

The villa is lovely and has many original features and lots of places to sit and relax, dine and sunbath. With a big group its perfect and pool is a great size. The road outside the villa is fast so don't be ambling in the middle of the road. A great area to be visiting!

Prachtig en ruim huis, mooie locatie. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Genoeg voor de kinderen om te spelen. Zwembad heerlijk. Alleen laatste 2 dagen iets mis met het verwarmen, dus te koud om te zwemmen. Slaapkamer op de benedenverdieping rook een beetje naar riool. Was niet fijn om te slapen. Andere kamers prima.

Jackie, the owner, was very helpful beforehand. Christine checked us in and the villa was spotless with very easy to follow instructions. Very well placed to walk to the beach and the bars/restaurants. Well appointed with no problems during our stay at all. We were there for 12 days so had a bed/towel change half way through. Christine even cleaned the bathrooms for us too - thank you so much - our stay was wonderful - we will definitely use this villa again.

We visited this villa with 11 friends and we had the best vacation ever. The villa is exactly as the pictures shows online. The beach is near by and the villa has a lot of chill spots. Villa was really clean and all the rooms got there own bathroom. The contact we had with Chrissie who was responsible for the check in progress etc was perfect. We forgot some stuff and she has sent it over to us with DHL. Also the contact with Victoria was very good. thanks for that. I recommended this villa to everybody who is reading this.

The property was fantastic and kitted out for my 1 year old who was toddling around. He loved the small play area by the front of the property and spent hours playing in the water there. The location was great for what we wanted it for but when we did want to venture out taxis did prove a bit of a nightmare especially at peak times. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to explore more areas of the island. We also found that taxis were reluctant to bring us back to Cala Vadella as there isn’t a huge amount of return business for them from there. The villa was very close to the beach although a very steep hill up so I would suggest buggies for smaller children. The villa itself was lovely and we really enjoyed our time there. Although we were very aware of marking the middle level floor as there were a few signs to say that it stained easily. Also the air con in the top floor bedrooms wasn’t fantastic. Other than that the villa was great. Would stay again.

The outdoor space has an lots of seating options including sun loungers, a large sofa and a dinning table with chairs. The balcony on the 2nd floor also has seating and ocean views, so if you fancy an afternoon cocktail with a view it's on your doorstep! The kitchen is stacked with crockery and some useful cooking ingredients (oil, salt & pepper, milk, juice and more). Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was ideal for us as we went out a lot so needed the space to get ready. The villa is located in Cala Vadella which is really beautiful and as it's situated on the west side of the island you can watch the sunset every day. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars on the beach which is only a 5 minute walk away. The little supermarket near the beach stocks fresh fruit, veg, pastries, meats, cheese and a selection of wine, beer and spirits. When you arrive into Cala Vadella make sure you make a note of where the communal bins are because at the end of your stay you'll need to take the recycling and general waste to the bins and if you don't have a car it's a bit of a pain walking around the neighbourhood with rubbish. I'd also recommend booking taxis in advance as there's only 1000 taxis on the island so trying to get a taxi last minute does not work. We missed a dinner reservation on the first night because we couldn't get a taxi. Christine is the housekeeper at Villa Mimosa and also a fountain of knowledge so if you need anything message her as she's very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay at Villa Mimosa and would definitely go back!

This is a lovely villa with everything you would expect — very good air con throughout, lovely pool and garden, nice terrace, well appointed kitchen and facilities. The bedrooms are good, although the beds are a little small (in width) for adults if separated to be used as twins, but fine for kids. As doubles they would be fine, I think. We went in August 2023 and found the surrounding villas were pretty lively until after midnight, but that added to the holiday atmosphere. I have given the location 2 stars because this proved the major headache of the holiday — Cala Valdella has one small shop right by the beach which is very inaccessible by car, and walking up the very steep hill with water etc is not practical on a daily basis. All of its restaurants are fine, and the beach is OK, but there's nothing else to do or even a good walk to be found easily on foot. Because of this, we were very reliant on our hire car, and the larger super markets in St Josep, facing some challenging driving and parking situations every day. We ate in the same restaurant at the beach 3 times in 7 nights, because we didn't want to drive around in the evening as well as in the day. We walked the steep hill (about 10 minutes) every day at least once, but this put us off going out on foot as much as we usually have on holiday. So, I can't fault the villa if you're happy staying at home by the pool, but if you are hoping for shops, bars and things to do on your doorstep, this may not be for you.

We were positively surprised by the location of the beautiful house that is by the way structures in a very intelligent was with two bedrooms with 2 attached bath rooms upstairs and the same set up with bedroom/bath room on ground level. Accommodates perfectly three couples, for children please align with the house keeper in advance as the three king size beds might not fit a family with child. We will surely recommend this great apartment with our friends as it is a perfect accommodation for discovering Ibiza! Thank you to the owners!

Great week spent at the villa Perfect for families Location was perfect, the beach and bars were fab, but too much for the 83 year old to walk up the hill back to the villa We used an online supermarket, they delivered the next day as we didn’t hire a car. This is such a great Villa! So well equipped, including ingredients in the cupboard, products for laundry, in the bathrooms and beach towels as well as all the usual linens you might expect from a hotel. The coffee machine was a very happy find indeed! Location is barely a 7 min stroll down the hill to the beach and 6 or 7 restaurants/bars right on the beach front. The bay is sheltered, calm and clear with paddle boarding and no jet skis! The private pool is such a fantastic bonus. The balcony was a favourite spot for pre dinner drinks and early morning yoga. We couldn’t fault this place, the communication from the owner and the local property minder was great, and we will be back! Loved everything about it.

We walked the steep hill (about 10 minutes) every day at least once, but this put us off going out on foot as much as we usually have on holiday. So, I can't fault the villa if you're happy staying at home by the pool, but if you are hoping for shops, bars and things to do on your doorstep, this may not be for you.
