The yurts and the grounds were beautiul. We did a Tezmecal ceremony and it was great! The only draw backs to this location is that it is on the main road and so there is lots of road noise. I recommend ear plugs!

Huaya camp is such a beautiful and low key property with a great relaxing vibe. Our yurt was very spacious and such a cool experience with the outdoor private shower w/ great water pressure. The restaurant onsite is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I even got to participate in a Temazcal ceremony which we really needed after enduring a few stressful experiences our first few days in Mexico (not at Huaya camp). The feeling of being so close to nature among the property's beautiful landscape was very refreshing and a highlight of our trip.

The property was located on the main strip in Tulum, within close walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. It felt like a jungle oasis right within the city! The pool was perfect for cooling off on those hot afternoons. Biggest complaint and hardly the fault of the hotel, but as you're staying in yurts, it can be quite noisy at night with the sounds of the city going on around you. Prepare for that and you're set.

La descripción es engañosa ya que dice 1 servicio de spa sin costo pero no es spa sino invitación a qué te unas a una clase de yoga. Los horarios de la actividad son muy tarde pensado en que nadie las haga y no hay nada por la mañana nos dieron como premio de consolación dos mascarillas de barro :( es un poco decepcionante ya que si nos daban un fácil del spa o un masaje estábamos dispuestos a pagar un servicio más para ir los dos juntos. No hubo upgrade el personal muy básico si no les mencionas los beneficios no te dicen nada

El lugar es muy hermoso y tranquilo. El ambiente selvatico transmite mucha paz. De ubicacion accesible. En todo momento fuimos asistidos por personal muy amable. Las duchas al aire libre son una agradable experiencia. Para quien quiera probar experiencias nuevas, este es el lugar. Recomiento la ceremonia del temazcal. En cuanto a las instalaciones, pongo cuatro estrellas solo porqie cuando hace mucho calor, el aire acondicionado no logra refescar por completo el espacio. Por todo lo demas, es un 10.

L'hôtel est très agréable. La piscine est un gros plus surtout avec les sargasses sur les plages. Le personnel est très accueillant. Nous avons pu garer la voiture dans la rue devant l'hôtel.

The Huaya Camp is a unique place with very friendly staff and owner. Once you get into the property, you feel like you are in nature. They also offer mazcal and ice bath ceremonies which was very interesting experiences. The only downside is the place is right in the middle of the city, and there is a some noise coming from outside due to the trucks and traffic. The city is developing fast and there are a lot of construction.

The hosts Ivania and Hugo were absolutely wonderful. They went the extra mile to help us when we really needed it! They were so kind. Property is gorgeous, inspired, and well maintained. My son loved the pool. They offer purifying experiences such as temescal and yoga. My only issue is the noise; there is a nightclub next door, and that can get loud at night but also it was kind of neat to be in a jungle right in the middle of the city. Id just bring earplugs. The yurts are well built and stunning. Very elegant design. The outdoor showers feel luxurious. Potheads cafe right next door offers fresh and delicious food. Just because of the genuine and caring nature of the hosts, and the convenient location, and the community feeling of the experience, ill likely be back.

Le restaurant adjacent à l'établissement serve de bon café et petit déjeuner a peu de fais. Point négatif est le bruit provenant de la route. Nous avons apprécier notre séjour. Merci.

Nice place to stay. Lots of local restaurants near by. Really loved the atmosphere inside the hotel. But could not get the free spa service as Expedia mentioned. Seems like the stuffs didn’t know about it which was not very pleasant.

Demaciado batallar para que me facturen bueno para pasar la noche y entre lo que cabe "barato" chequen en cuanto esta el dolar y en el baño encontre muchos animales como 100 pies,el clima no enfria,la alberca muy profunda no recomiendo para niños

This place is horrible, no security at all at night, your room DON’T have lock, broken window, ac do not work well, i thought this was going to be a good experience but it was horrible I had to leave the property in the middle of the night because i fell so unsafe and I’m from South America, so I was not expecting US property but this place was 0/10

We loved staying at Huaya Camp, a unique experience in a well appointed and air conditioned yurt in the middle of a beautiful jungle garden. The grounds were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The property is near the main street so a bit noisy at night until 12 midnight. It was good to be able to walk to all the restaurants.

Muchos moscos en la habitación…..comprendo que estamos en un lugar con mucha vegetación pero deberían fumigar con remedios naturales la habitación y dejar el mosquitero para que se ventile. Por tal razón fue imposible dormir ahí, tuvimos que irnos a otro lugar.

Realmente sorprendente y bello, tranquilo, limpio, me encantó. El gerente está siempre atento a resolver. Estuve en Cancún y en Playa del Carmen, y siempre había alguna situación, para mi sorpresa HUAYACAMP fue el mejor de todos en todos los aspectos, sin duda volveré, HOSPEDARSE AHI ES MAGICO ❤️

I’m not sure what I was expecting here really. The yurt is as advertised, but bare in mind there is next to no security, being made of canvas you cannot really lock it, you are provided with a padlock, but it’s 2 hooks on canvas.. but nothing to secure the back door out to your shower. There was no light outside for the outdoor shower, so I had to use my own which wasn’t ideal. Bed and bedding were nice and comfy. Watch out for the mosquitoes too, even being really careful, they still get in, because it’s a yurt. I’m happy with the price in paid - around £75 per night, but no one in their right mind should be paying over £200 per night which is the alleged real price !!!! Oh, hotels.com said I would get a free breakfast, but when I enquired I was told that I’d get a discount at the restaurant as I was staying there, but on neither morning did it seem to be open. Nice place but I don’t understand the rave reviews on here from other people.

Huaya camp is such a beautiful and low key property with a great relaxing vibe. Our yurt was very spacious and such a cool experience with the outdoor private shower w/ great water pressure. The restaurant onsite is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I even got to participate in a Temazcal ceremony which we really needed after enduring a few stressful experiences our first few days in Mexico (not at Huaya camp). The feeling of being so close to nature among the property's beautiful landscape was very refreshing and a highlight of our trip.

Demaciado batallar para que me facturen bueno para pasar la noche y entre lo que cabe "barato" chequen en cuanto esta el dolar y en el baño encontre muchos animales como 100 pies,el clima no enfria,la alberca muy profunda no recomiendo para niños

La descripción es engañosa ya que dice 1 servicio de spa sin costo pero no es spa sino invitación a qué te unas a una clase de yoga. Los horarios de la actividad son muy tarde pensado en que nadie las haga y no hay nada por la mañana nos dieron como premio de consolación dos mascarillas de barro :( es un poco decepcionante ya que si nos daban un fácil del spa o un masaje estábamos dispuestos a pagar un servicio más para ir los dos juntos. No hubo upgrade el personal muy básico si no les mencionas los beneficios no te dicen nada

El lugar es muy hermoso y tranquilo. El ambiente selvatico transmite mucha paz. De ubicacion accesible. En todo momento fuimos asistidos por personal muy amable. Las duchas al aire libre son una agradable experiencia. Para quien quiera probar experiencias nuevas, este es el lugar. Recomiento la ceremonia del temazcal. En cuanto a las instalaciones, pongo cuatro estrellas solo porqie cuando hace mucho calor, el aire acondicionado no logra refescar por completo el espacio. Por todo lo demas, es un 10.

The hosts Ivania and Hugo were absolutely wonderful. They went the extra mile to help us when we really needed it! They were so kind. Property is gorgeous, inspired, and well maintained. My son loved the pool. They offer purifying experiences such as temescal and yoga. My only issue is the noise; there is a nightclub next door, and that can get loud at night but also it was kind of neat to be in a jungle right in the middle of the city. Id just bring earplugs. The yurts are well built and stunning. Very elegant design. The outdoor showers feel luxurious. Potheads cafe right next door offers fresh and delicious food. Just because of the genuine and caring nature of the hosts, and the convenient location, and the community feeling of the experience, ill likely be back.

Met some fellow travelers, the house dogs were friendly, and the onsite restaurant some of the best food around! If you’re looking for a unique stay and don’t mind a little traffic noise, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back. Also a plus was how central it is to the ruins and the shopping.

Nice place to stay. Lots of local restaurants near by. Really loved the atmosphere inside the hotel. But could not get the free spa service as Expedia mentioned. Seems like the stuffs didn’t know about it which was not very pleasant.

This place was heaven in the middle of busy street in the town. Very comfortable and surrounded by serene trees and plants. Great pond and pool. The owner was such a sweet chap, very warm and welcoming.

The property was located on the main strip in Tulum, within close walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. It felt like a jungle oasis right within the city! The pool was perfect for cooling off on those hot afternoons. Biggest complaint and hardly the fault of the hotel, but as you're staying in yurts, it can be quite noisy at night with the sounds of the city going on around you. Prepare for that and you're set.

L'hôtel est très agréable. La piscine est un gros plus surtout avec les sargasses sur les plages. Le personnel est très accueillant. Nous avons pu garer la voiture dans la rue devant l'hôtel.

The Huaya Camp is a unique place with very friendly staff and owner. Once you get into the property, you feel like you are in nature. They also offer mazcal and ice bath ceremonies which was very interesting experiences. The only downside is the place is right in the middle of the city, and there is a some noise coming from outside due to the trucks and traffic. The city is developing fast and there are a lot of construction.

Très belle endroit, le personnels et très gentil et accueillants. Nous avons apprécier la piscine, et vous pouvez voir différents oiseaux et plantes. Le restaurant adjacent à l'établissement serve de bon café et petit déjeuner a peu de fais. Point négatif est le bruit provenant de la route. Nous avons apprécier notre séjour. Merci.

We loved staying at Huaya Camp, a unique experience in a well appointed and air conditioned yurt in the middle of a beautiful jungle garden. The grounds were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The property is near the main street so a bit noisy at night until 12 midnight. It was good to be able to walk to all the restaurants.

Really beautiful, cant believe you are in a busy area once you are inside the camp. We only stayed one night before our flight but wish we could of stayed longer.

I’m not sure what I was expecting here really. The yurt is as advertised, but bare in mind there is next to no security, being made of canvas you cannot really lock it, you are provided with a padlock, but it’s 2 hooks on canvas.. but nothing to secure the back door out to your shower. There was no light outside for the outdoor shower, so I had to use my own which wasn’t ideal. Bed and bedding were nice and comfy. Watch out for the mosquitoes too, even being really careful, they still get in, because it’s a yurt. I’m happy with the price in paid - around £75 per night, but no one in their right mind should be paying over £200 per night which is the alleged real price !!!! Oh, hotels.com said I would get a free breakfast, but when I enquired I was told that I’d get a discount at the restaurant as I was staying there, but on neither morning did it seem to be open. Nice place but I don’t understand the rave reviews on here from other people.
