Creekside Cabin

The cabin is really nice. My only 2 complaints are the lighting in the kitchen and the hot water pressure in the kitchen. The creek was very relaxing and the hot tub is good.

Wonderful location. Back deck overlooking creek was amazing. Microwave over stove was inoperative. Back deck could have been cleaner. There was a broom so we swept. Hot tub cover was very dusty. Cleaned it also. Everything else was great. We plan to return.

Overall our stay was okay, we thought for the price paid the cabin could have been better kept. There were 4 of us staying for a week. We had to wash dishes and silverware after every meal to have enough for the next mealThe towels in the bathroom needed replaced asthey were old and threads came off every where. Only 2 towels per person. The washer and dryer came in handy. The curtains in the lower bedroom were ragged on the bottoms. Luckily we brought our own outdoor chairs because the ones they provided were muddy and had bird droppings on them. On the bright side, we enjoyed having a fire in the nice fireplace and the creek, we overlooked the trash that was scattered by an animal up the steep hill behind the cabin. When we arrived the grill was unusable, I called Maintenance and they brought a brand new grill for us. We used it every day.We probably won't book again. you could see through them.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, we loved the hot tub and the creek. Only thing that could use improvement was the grill was in bad shape.

Centrally located near the National Park and close to Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinsburg, this property is located next to a steam and in the Smoky Mountains. Sundries and gas at the end of the block and an IGA (supermarket) within a half mile (ish). Very new, all appliances, hot tub and fire pit. Two couples or two adults & two kids comfortably in an upstairs loft w/ bed and bathroom, plus one more on the couch if need be (we were one couple). Pictures are spot on. We loved it. I can't think of even one issue - we even added a night at the last minute with no issues ... and will be back!

Our family of four with our awesome dog stayed at this peaceful cabin. The creek was flowing the whole time we were there and as long as you have water shoes you can explore the creek and was a blast for the kids and adults. The road wasn’t that busy but definitely need to keep an eye on dogs and kids because although it is fenced in it is easy to get through that type of fence. The house was very clean upon arrival and they provide really cute amenities like shampoo and conditioner. They provided a propane grill and there was a fire pit and chairs. All local Townsend shops and restaurants and even gas stations were great as well.

Nice quiet setting. Loved being by the creek. Cabin was nice and clean. Several light bulbs were out. Not enough kitchen towels. Could provide a couple extra blankets. Hot tub was not working properly. Not able to raise temp above 85. Exterior of cabin in need of maintenance. Bush at front porch needs trimmed. Could not walk on sidewalk. Grill was great! Needs better lighting in the kitchen area.

100% would stay here again. Wish we had stayed a couple days longer. Did not use the hot tub or fireplace. We were not comfortable starting a fire in the fireplace. Wish it had been electric. No complaints at all. Met the owner as we were leaving and he was very nice.

This cabin was perfect for our stay. Loved the fire pit, hot tub and the stream was so relaxing to listen to. The cabin was beautiful.

We needed a spot to get away a few days. When we saw creekside it was exactly what we were looking for. I communicated with Bear Tootin prior to our stay and they were very nice and helpful. The cabin was nicely decorated with small touches. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The cabin was clean and there were plenty of towels supplied. The beds are very firm almost to the point it's bouncy when you roll over. The beds were clean so thats all that mattered to me but I know some people dont like firm beds. The hot tub was very nice. We were on a family trip but this place would be great for a couple retreat or someone wanting to get away. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the creek was very relaxing. The back porch sits off the ground a good bit and no stairs off it, which was great so the dog could join us sitting outside and not worry about him running off. The creek was great! My kids loved it so much. The only issue I had was I picked up multiple peices of broken glass bottles. That is not a representation of the cabin or fault of the owners. I wish people would be more respectful to others. That being said with children and dogs you need to be careful. The cabin is in a good location, because it is away from town but not a far drive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was wonderful and was beautiful. I'd love to go back again. I bet in the winter it is even more beautiful with the fireplace going while it's snowing.

Great for being close to the park! Perfect for our dog. Quiet. Clean. Some trash in bag side property near creek Would stay here again!

Many cobwebs.... mold in bathroom..... need to add extra blankets and a blow dryer..... downstairs bathroom sink wasn't draining well...... could use more kitchen towels and silverware.....

There were several small things that were problematic. No hangers in closets, no coat hooks, no towel racks, hot tub jets only a few worked, the floors were filthy and the interior of the cabin was dusty and the bedding smelled like wet dog.

Check-in and check-out was very easy using their app. There are other cabins on the property, but plenty of space between so that you don’t feel crowded. Cute little kits are provided that include 2 dishwasher and laundry pods, kitchen wipes, dish soap and a sponge/scratcher pad. Each bathroom also has a kit containing makeup remover wipes, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bar soap for the sink and shower and body wash. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans and kitchen tools.Minor issues: The loft bedroom could use a privacy curtain that could be pulled to block the morning sun from the window at the peak of the house. The lighting is not very bright. The ceiling fan/light is up very high and one light bulb is out. We weren’t bothered by it enough to request maintenance come to replace the bulb.There was an adequate amount of bath towels and wash cloths, but there was only one kitchen towel, so you’re using just one towel for drying hands and dishes.Dishes are cute, but there has apparently been some breakage as there were only 2 lunch plates.

We really enjoyed the hot tub and the creek. The cabin was very clean. The shrubbery was a little overgrown, making it hard to use the stone walkway and the front steps going in, especially when raining. It was as expected. We will definitely stay there again.

Located in Townsend but close to gas station and IGA grocery store. The creek was flowing and it was directly behind the cabin. Quiet road so it was pretty private. Cabin was clean and beds were comfy! Townsend is a quiet area, away from the crowds and a nice place for quiet afternoons. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Check out Meryville, if you are looking for more of boutique shopping.

If we could have stayed on the back porch forever, we would have. Listening to the sounds of the flowing creek was amazing! It was a very comfy cabin for three adults. The downstairs bed was very comfy. The upstairs bed was a little firm but still comfy. We will definitely return.

The cabin and location was fantastic. But the heating unit was not able to keep up with the extremely cold weather. When we got up Monday the inside temp was 57 and got down to 56 We ended up leaving 2 days early

This is the second time we stayed in this cabin. It's just so peaceful! Best place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Which is the reason we booked our second visit. It was a little disappointing that this time there was no Keurig coffee maker and I had brought my favorite coffee. The two chairs on the back porch were very uncomfortable. The last time we used the living room throw pillows for back support but there were non this visit. We would definitely prefer a king size bed. but we understood that beforehand.

From start to finish of our vacation Bear Tootin Cabin rental company was AMAZING! Their staff was so friendly and go out of their way to make your vacation perfect. The only company I would trust my family especially our special needs son RJ to is this company. This was the first non-medical trips our five year old had and they helped knock it out of the park! Anyone wanting to visit Smokey Mountain National Park needs to choose this company, Truly an amazing cabin rental company.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside. It was nice to wake up to the sound of the creek every morning. We usually stay in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but we wanted to stay a little further away from the hustle and bustle in those areas. It was only about. 30 minute drive into Pigeon Forge when we wanted to do some of the attractions there. We mostly wanted to do some fishing and hiking, so it was great being so close to Cades Cove. The cabin is not really as secluded as I thought but it was nice to be able to access it easily.

Great location. Close to many things but not on the beaten path. Great yard for dog.

Cabin was far enough away from people but close enough to great restaurants and activities. It's a short drive to the GSM.

We were in Townsend for a friend’s wedding. The cabin was convenient to the venue and was all our family of four needed. Add the serene setting and it was a pleasant stay.
