This was our first visit to Portsmouth, and we are so grateful to Todd for providing such a convenient and nice place to stay. We really enjoyed being able to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants…and especially enjoyed Cure and Bennett Sandwich Shop. Also, the proximity to 95 was close enough to hop on and visit the southern coast of Maine. Really enjoyed our trip and wish we had more time to have stayed a few more days. Thank you Todd for being readily available to answer questions regarding parking, etc. Hope we get the opportunity to visit the Portsmouth area again soon.

We visited Portsmouth for a family wedding and couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. Beautiful property right smack dab in the middle of everything the city has to offer. We did take advantage of another review which mentioned Parrot Avenue free parking which was a quick walk away.

We enjoyed the space. The stairs to the space a bit steeper than we’re used to but would have been no problem if lighting was better there. The space is in a fabulous location. We were able to get to so much within walking distance! The bed was comfy. It was great to have the w/d combo. (Someone may want to check the balance on that- loud heavy vibrations during spin)Overall a great place but retired/seniors beware the steep stairs and the high step into and out of the shower.

My husband and I stayed here while we had our wedding in Portsmouth a few weeks ago since we were looking for something a little bigger and suite-like than what the hotels offered. Place was perfect for just the two of us, with easy access to the heart of Portsmouth and the parking garage. No issues with noise from the street and while there are stairs up to the apartment, I didn't think they were too difficult to navigate. Todd was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Would certainly stay there again!

This unit seems newly renovated and was well-equipped. Walkable to lots of shops, dining, sites, and boat tours. The owner generously provided some nice surprises in the kitchen and fridge which we appreciated. Our only negatives: (1) parking is limited/expensive. We ended up using the free lot on Parrot Ave for overnight, which was an easy 5 minute walk. (2) Had a little trouble finding it. We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment located right in downtown Portsmouth. There was a large variety of stores, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need for your visit. There are many little touches to make this property feel like home. Our favorite part was the record player! Parking can be difficult throughout the city so we utilized the Hanover Parking Garage at a rate of $2/hr-$40/day for the duration of our stay. I would recommend this adorable VRBO to anyone looking to stay in the downtown area. We look forward to visiting again one day!

It was a perfect pit-stop in Portsmouth. The location was right in the middle of great eats and perfect spot for shopping. I was concerned about parking at first, but there's a parking garage in a 1-2 minute walk. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Was in Portsmouth for my 50th high school reunion and stayed in this fantastic apartment. Right in downtown Portsmouth and can walk to all the stores and restaurants. Was able to find streetside parking every night. Parked in the Hanover garage just one afternoon. Highly recommend this place.

I would give the property 4 1/2 stars - very clean, lots of accoutrements for cooking, comfortable bed and bathroom. Great location for two people looking to explore downtown Portsmouth - literally on one of the main streets adjacent to the waterfront, and one to two blocks from all the shops and restaurants you could desire. My wife and I had a great time exploring Portsmouth (lots of history, including large houses where historical figures lived or stayed during revolutionary times).The only reason to subtract 1/2 star was the parking situation. Street parking was available if you got up early enough, but between 9am and 8pm there are significant charges for parking on the streets. The parking garages also required between 30 and 40/ day if the car was left there (each had hourly charges that accrued during the night), so there will be some added expense to account for with this property. Other than that, the apartment was great for a single couple - not sure you could have many more than two people. And be a bit careful on the stairs from the street to the first level - they are a bit dark (not the host's fault) and they are narrow; my wife and I (both in 60s) made sure to hang on to the hand rails whenever going up or down. All in all, we would recommend this to a couple looking to vacation in Portsmouth, with the slight caveats mentioned above.

An amazing location for our stay. Walking distance to everything we needed and so much character in the space that we ended up shooting some of our wedding photos right inside! Parking can be tricky and the unit was a bit smaller than expected, but ZERO complaints.

We had a great time in Portsmouth over the 4th of July. The condo was cozy, very clean, well appointed, and very comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. The location was great - close to everything yet on a quiet part of Market St. Our only wish was that was more storage space for our clothes. But overall, we’d highly recommend this rental!

My husband and I took a quick little getaway, and this was the perfect location with a wonderful host. Todd was very communicative, and the apartment was clean, trendy, and welcoming. This location is perfect, right at the edge of downtown and basically across the street from the main parking garage. The apartment on the smaller side, but SO well designed and lovely. Living and storage space is thoughtfully maximized and the "how to" notes from the owner cover everything that you need to know.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this property. It was located right on the main strip of stores and restaurants so everything was walking distance. The rental was beautiful, modern and clean. Todd had great communication with us and made us feel very welcome. The whole experience felt like we were staying in a Hallmark movie. Cute location in an adorable town. Will absolutely recommend to others!

My husband and I stayed here while we had our wedding in Portsmouth a few weeks ago since we were looking for something a little bigger and suite-like than what the hotels offered. Place was perfect for just the two of us, with easy access to the heart of Portsmouth and the parking garage. No issues with noise from the street and while there are stairs up to the apartment, I didn't think they were too difficult to navigate. Todd was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Would certainly stay there again!

My husband and I took a quick little getaway, and this was the perfect location with a wonderful host. Todd was very communicative, and the apartment was clean, trendy, and welcoming. It’s right in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, within walking distance from everything you need. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely go back.

Had a couple itinerary changes and Todd was super accommodating about the changes. He had some good tips about what to do while we were there. Location is great, short walk to restaurants and shops, hope to return when we are able to stay longer. First experience with beautiful Portamouth, won't be the last! In fact we arw back in Portsmouth as I write this.

We enjoyed the space. The stairs to the space a bit steeper than we’re used to but would have been no problem if lighting was better there. The space is in a fabulous location. We were able to get to so much within walking distance! The bed was comfy. It was great to have the w/d combo. (Someone may want to check the balance on that- loud heavy vibrations during spin)Overall a great place but retired/seniors beware the steep stairs and the high step into and out of the shower.

It was a perfect pit-stop in Portsmouth. The location was right in the middle of great eats and perfect spot for shopping. I was concerned about parking at first, but there's a parking garage in a 1-2 minute walk. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Location was everything! Enjoyed all the shops and many restaurants. My spouse cannot eat gluten which typically limits his menu choices but Portsmouth eateries were exceptionally aware and accommodating to his dietary needs. Beautiful fall foliage was a bonus!

I would give the property 4 1/2 stars - very clean, lots of accoutrements for cooking, comfortable bed and bathroom. Great location for two people looking to explore downtown Portsmouth - literally on one of the main streets adjacent to the waterfront, and one to two blocks from all the shops and restaurants you could desire. My wife and I had a great time exploring Portsmouth (lots of history, including large houses where historical figures lived or stayed during revolutionary times).The only reason to subtract 1/2 star was the parking situation. Street parking was available if you got up early enough, but between 9am and 8pm there are significant charges for parking on the streets. The parking garages also required between 30 and 40/ day if the car was left there (each had hourly charges that accrued during the night), so there will be some added expense to account for with this property. Other than that, the apartment was great for a single couple - not sure you could have many more than two people. And be a bit careful on the stairs from the street to the first level - they are a bit dark (not the host's fault) and they are narrow; my wife and I (both in 60s) made sure to hang on to the hand rails whenever going up or down. All in all, we would recommend this to a couple looking to vacation in Portsmouth, with the slight caveats mentioned above.

This was our first visit to Portsmouth, and we are so grateful to Todd for providing such a convenient and nice place to stay. We really enjoyed being able to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants…and especially enjoyed Cure and Bennett Sandwich Shop. Also, the proximity to 95 was close enough to hop on and visit the southern coast of Maine. Really enjoyed our trip and wish we had more time to have stayed a few more days. Thank you Todd for being readily available to answer questions regarding parking, etc. Hope we get the opportunity to visit the Portsmouth area again soon.

We wanted to be able to stay in a place that would allow us to walk everywhere in downtown Portsmouth: to shops, to restaurants, to the water. This location is perfect, right at the edge of downtown and basically across the street from the main parking garage. The apartment on the smaller side, but SO well designed and lovely. Living and storage space is thoughtfully maximized and the "how to" notes from the owner cover everything that you need to know.

We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment located right in downtown Portsmouth. There was a large variety of stores, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need for your visit. There are many little touches to make this property feel like home. Our favorite part was the record player! Parking can be difficult throughout the city so we utilized the Hanover Parking Garage at a rate of $2/hr-$40/day for the duration of our stay. I would recommend this adorable VRBO to anyone looking to stay in the downtown area. We look forward to visiting again one day!
