Ontbijt prima van kwaliteit. Keuze beperkt. Ligging hotel is prachtig. Lekker stil binnen, je hoort geen geluiden van buiten. In het hoofdgebouw is er geen lift hetgeen problematisch is voor iemand met beperkingen.

Ich liebe diesen Ort! Es ist so als würden wir nach Hause kommen. Seit drei Jahren besuchen mein Freund und ich regelmäßig dieses Hotel. In diesem Jahr sogar mit meinen Eltern. Auch die sind so begeistert, dass wir nun einmal im Jahr ein Familientreffen dort organisieren werde. Die Sauberkeit, das Grundstück, die geschmackvoll Einrichtung, die Lage und das Personal sind großartig. Bitte mietet euch ein Boot und verbringt einen Tag auf der vecht! Flora und Fauna sind unbezahlbar ❤️

What a beautiful little Gem! Quaint accommodations with a historic feel. Bed was extremely comfortable, robes slippers provided. The only thing was that we were staying on the upper floor that had slanted windows with no curtains. It was beautiful but I had to sleep with my eye mask for my eyes. The free parking is easy and convenient. The checkin / reception is located in the main house where the restaurant is.

Prachtige locatie omringd door water en natuur. Kamer was schoon, ruim en perfect voor ons als gezin met twee tieners. Groot nadeel is het parkeren, er is nooit plaats op de parking en in het gras mag je hem dan niet overal zetten want er komt een maaier voorbij. Wij hadden gekozen om te dineren in het hotel zelf, dat was een grote teleurstelling. In totaal hebben we 3 uur gezeten voor vier kleine gangen. Drankjes werden niet gebracht of gewoon vergeten. Gerechten zelf waren wel in orde. Kon duidelijk zien dat ze onbemand waren die avond. Vriendelijkheid van de staff was in orde, leidinggevenden hebben nog een cursus hospitality nodig...

Beautiful hotel, located along the river Vecht. We made the reservation on one of the last sunny days this year, hoping to sit at the teahouse watching the boats on the river. But the teahouse was closed due to a private party which was a great disappointment..

We stayed at the Flora Batava for two nights while supporting our son with a house move, and would thoroughly recommend the experience. The hotel is very well appointed, with a modern contemporary feel. The rooms were large and well equipped, and the breakfast selection was excellent. They coped very well with a request for gluten free bread and granola on both mornings we were there. We very much enjoyed an excellent meal in the in-house restaurant (Restaurant Bloei) on the evening we arrived (although we remain unconvinced how their Tarte Tatin qualifies to be called that - it was very nice, but had no Tarte!). One recommendation for future guests - the parking lot sits between the main building (which includes reception and the restaurant) and two other buildings with bedrooms in. The walking route between these buildings is quite complex, and with very soft gravel making the use of wheeled suitcases hard work - so if visiting again I would leave my luggage in my vehicle while checking in so that I only needed to take it with me to the correct building, rather than dragging it to the main building and then back across the car park to one of the side buildings.

Very beautiful location. You can rent a bike and stroll through the wonderful countryside. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The room was new and very nice inside but it was on the ground floor in front of the entrance to the building.

Its a nice Boutique hotel with beautiful garden and amazing view, easy to park if you travel by car, kind and helpful staff. We've been a bit disappointed by the poor choice of the dinner menu but enjoyed a nice selection of great wines, especially the Chardonnay. Also our room was really dusty and for people with dust allergy this could be a real problem. We spent there 3 nights and the coffee/tea wasn't re loaded after we made a cup of coffee once. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay in Flora Batava.

Heerlijke ruime stijlvolle schone kamer. Van alle gemakken voorzien. We voelden ons erg welkom. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en ziet alles. Kregen zomaar een upgrade naar een grotere kamer.

Struttura molto bella, in un posto incantevole. Camera molto bella e pulita al nostro arrivo. Purtroppo durante il soggiorno, la camera non è stata pulita ed abbiamo dovuto farlo presente alla reception. Colazione buona in una bellissima veranda. Una pulizia più attenta renderebbe il soggiorno perfetto!

Beautiful located at a very nice canal with a beautiful garden. The nature reserve „Over Holland“ just a cross the road. Nicely decorated rooms with lots of space. Restaurant is great and good quality, breakfast ok and service sometimes a bit stiff.

Stayed for four nights as a family with a 10 and 12 year old. Had a room with a loft which was great, the stairs were a bit precarious but otherwise the room was clean and quiet. Check in was smooth and efficient. Lots of dining and grocery options in town. Loved the stay.

Schon bei der Einfahrt war uns klar, hier sind wir richtig und hier wollen wir bleiben! Was für ein wunderschönes Anwesen, direkt am Wasser mit einer verträumten Parkanlage gelegen. Im Hauptgebäude befindet sich die Rezeption, die im Eingangsbereich mit einer wohlduftenden Kerze zum Hereinkommen einlädt. Unser Zimmer war ein Split-Level, da wir als Familie reisten. Am Abend besuchten wir das stilvolle Restaurant und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Prachtig hotel, alles was netjes en schoon en stuk groter dan verwacht. Fijn dat er een apart toilet was en deze niet in de badkamer zat. Check in was wel heel makkelijk. Kregen het pasje en de instructie de trap op dat was het. Geen verdere info over check out etc.

Leider gelang die Übermittlung der Buchung bei EXPEDIA nicht ohne Probleme. Das Hotelpersonal war allerdings sehr hilfsbereit und hat die Buchungsprobleme beseitigt. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel und der Service waren fantastisch.

Prachtige locatie omringd door water en natuur. Kamer was schoon, ruim en perfect voor ons als gezin met twee tieners. Groot nadeel is het parkeren, er is nooit plaats op de parking en in het gras mag je hem dan niet overal zetten want er komt een maaier voorbij. Wij hadden gekozen om te dineren in het hotel zelf, dat was een grote teleurstelling. In totaal hebben we 3 uur gezeten voor vier kleine gangen. Drankjes werden niet gebracht of gewoon vergeten. Gerechten zelf waren wel in orde. Kon duidelijk zien dat ze onbemand waren die avond. Vriendelijkheid van de staff was in orde, leidinggevenden hebben nog een cursus hospitality nodig...

Absolutely stunning property. Room had everything we needed. Discovered a gorgeous cherry blossom lane directly behind the property on the other side of the canal. Easy to access with public transportation and a bit of walking.

Its a nice Boutique hotel with beautiful garden and amazing view, easy to park if you travel by car, kind and helpful staff. We've been a bit disappointed by the poor choice of the dinner menu but enjoyed a nice selection of great wines, especially the Chardonnay. Also our room was really dusty and for people with dust allergy this could be a real problem. We spent there 3 nights and the coffee/tea wasn't re loaded after we made a cup of coffee once. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay in Flora Batava.

Unterkunft in einem sehr geschmackvoll renovierten Herrenhaus an der Vecht. Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und stimmig. Traumhafter Garten am Vechtufer. Lediglich das Restaurant hat erheblichen Verbesserungsbedarf.

We stayed at the Flora Batava for two nights while supporting our son with a house move, and would thoroughly recommend the experience. The hotel is very well appointed, with a modern contemporary feel. The rooms were large and well equipped, and the breakfast selection was excellent. They coped very well with a request for gluten free bread and granola on both mornings we were there. We very much enjoyed an excellent meal in the in-house restaurant (Restaurant Bloei) on the evening we arrived (although we remain unconvinced how their Tarte Tatin qualifies to be called that - it was very nice, but had no Tarte!). One recommendation for future guests - the parking lot sits between the main building (which includes reception and the restaurant) and two other buildings with bedrooms in. The walking route between these buildings is quite complex, and with very soft gravel making the use of wheeled suitcases hard work - so if visiting again I would leave my luggage in my vehicle while checking in so that I only needed to take it with me to the correct building, rather than dragging it to the main building and then back across the car park to one of the side buildings.

The hotel is very beautiful. It is located in the middle of lush green nature. If you want to reach the lively parts of the city, you need to walk, which can be quite challenging if you visit in winter. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel, but in my opinion it is unnecessarily expensive. Therefore, I would recommend traveling when the weather is nice

What a beautiful little Gem! Quaint accommodations with a historic feel. Bed was extremely comfortable, robes slippers provided. The only thing was that we were staying on the upper floor that had slanted windows with no curtains. It was beautiful but I had to sleep with my eye mask for my eyes.
