Very comfortable and clean, efficient check in - good to have on site car park. I'd suggest introducing EV charging which would have made my life easier. Beware the Air-con switches itself off but was otherwise very good.

Room was clean. Carpet was worn out in the corner of the room. The bed corners were sharp, hit my leg 3 times walking past as room not that big. Staff were nice. There is a 24/7 bar but wine wasnt very good. Plenty of lifts. Nice, small gym. Near the tram stop of Five Ways

Hotel staff were very friendly, 24 hour bar (which not many hotels have nowadays), had a gym. Negatives were a 25 minute queue to get a table for breakfast (the queue stretched through the lobby), breakfast was very basic, rooms were quite basic.

Handy for shopping, theatres & arriving by train. Breakfast is buffet & constantly checked, staff very helpful. Plenty of places nearby for food & drink. Parking is payable & can add to your stay £12 a stay, not 24 hrs. Check in is 15:00, Checkout is 11am, you could end up with a fine, if extra is not paid if you fancy a last min look around before leaving.

Easy to locate, friendly staff and room was well stocked. My only frustrations were with the lifts - only 2 serve the car park and they were not always the ones that turned up!

Ideal location with a tram stop just outside. Easy parking, but we did arrive on a Thursday and the car park did look fuller on Friday/Saturday. The only downside was that the lifts weren't operating correctly so we had to use the stairs from the car park to the reception which was a struggle for my husband who has knee and back issues, we were also lucky that a member of staff was on a break and could let us through the door to access the stairs. They were being fixed though and the other lifts to the rooms were working fine. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Room was nice, if a little warm for us but the controls are easy to use, they just reset quite frequently.

Room was lovely, giant mirror, giant TV, very spacious. We had a twin room with "single" beds - the beds were actually nearly double bed size and very comfortable. The range of food at the free breakfast was so extensive that we were spoilt for choice - the smell of the freshly cooking waffles was heavenly. The on site car park was so brilliant - it was an extra £15 per night, but very good value really for the location and security for the vehicle. Would absolutely definitely stay again - it would be my first choice of hotel for centre of Birmingham. We loved it! Thank you to all the staff.

I thought the hotel & area was good and and I liked that they had parking at the hotel . The only thing I didn't like was it was cashless, I think you should have a choice,if you want to pay by cash or card , I had withdrawn money out of my account to pay for things then had to pay by card . I would think twice because of that reason before returning

Excellent check in and service from Hotel staff. Good breakfast, rooms a good size and the air con was adjustable which was perfect. Only bad point was the lift - one was broken which caused delays and as it was the one to the car park it was a nightmare all weekend.

The room was awful and beds were so uncomfortable we were basically just on springs, when I asked if we could swap they said no. Went to use the kettle for a cup of tea and it was BLACK INSIDE. The staff just didn’t seem to care at all. We were put in an accessible room, the shower was so dangerous and they said they can’t change us.

Great location, check in and out easy and efficient, however the cleanliness and housekeeping of the rooms was poor, dusty on furniture and furnishings could be seen floating around the room, and towels and bed sheets were not changed the time we were there.

Room was not cleaned to the standard expected. Bathroom floor didn't look like it had been vacuummed. I also don't think they ever vacuum under the sofa beds, even though food debris can easily fall down it.

3 star hotel did the job. Good location only 15 mins walk into city centre. Ample parking and very close to sea world and Lego discovery centre. Lots of food options and shops within walking distance. Hotel was average but this was one of the cheaper options for the weekend so value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We didn’t enjoy the cooked breakfast but made use of the waffle machine and continental options. Rooms could have been cleaner, carpets need a deep clean.

Nice, soft and clean towels. The whole environment at the hotel was clean. The only take away point is the dirty plates in the breakfast area. This was highlighted to the staff on duty and rectified. Convenient stay with parking for a family function. Not sure if the bed linen was changed as we found many hairs as we pulled the duvet back. Bathroom door didn't shut all the way hindering privacy. Breakfast was included and many options available.

My stay at this hotel was terrible, I found a used condom under the bed, I was absolutely horrified to see this, I was to embarrassed to say anything to reception, and I didn’t think they would take it seriously as all they seemed to do was talk and joke behind the desk. My wife has decided to put this on social media !!!!

I used to stay here regularly, as it is convenient, but I stopped due to the new window blinds not being black out. I was glad to see they have now reverted to black out blinds but my room was above a bar or something, and even on 5th floor could hear thumping music until after midnight. Room or rather weather was cold and could not adjust the temperature of the room on the on wall device, and it just blew even colder air into the room. I mentioned this to reception when checking out. They said if you call down to reception they can alter the temp set on the unit (which was set to 17degrees)! Nothing mentions this anywhere. I used to use this hotel a lot, not sure I will be revisiting. Staff very pleasant and over worked on the front desk.

The room was clean and tidy good size but the beds mattresses were to small for wooden frame and you couldn't even move without them making horrendous noise we got back to our room about 10.45pm After a concert tired after long day that started at 6am to the base of loud music that went on for ages

The sofa bed and mattress were extremely uncomfortable, I finally got to sleep on the floor. Elastic on frame was sagging so you bent over the metal central section and you could feel every spring of the thin mattress. It also sagged into the middle. It was too late to do anything as my daughters were already asleep in the main bed, reception knew what I was going to say, so I’m not the only one who has suffered with this. Big day ahead was really affected by my lack of sleep

Avoid - noisy beyond belief! There is a nightclub at street level in or next to this property. We were on the 14th floor (yes, 14th!) and the noise from the club was outrageously loud. It was the bass from the music that could be heard in the room.... so all night long it was BOOM BOOM BOOM. After 2 hours, I called reception and asked to change rooms to somewhere quieter. Sometime later I was offered a room on the 8th floor that they 'hoped' would be quieter. Unfortunately in the delay time, my husband (who is deaf), had fallen asleep so we couldn't move. Therefore, I can't report whether this room was quieter or not. I was then furnished with earplugs which helped not at all. So, no sleep for me until gone 4am. The next day, reception staff claimed nobody that night, or previously, had ever complained about the sound levels (really!!!!!l) but then went on to say it was the fault of the club and they were supposed to be doing something. What??? I paid over £150 for this night of "rest" and was treated dismissively by the day reception staff when I complained. Just steer clear and spend your money elsewhere.

Enjoyed the view the window (12th floor) but didn’t like the noise and lack of amenities. Breakfast was very busy and noisy and there was a lack of cooked breakfast items. Room was spacious and bathroom was clean and tidy and had all the toiletries we would need.

After parking the car, we ventured up to reception, and were greeted by Eman, who made our check in extremely easy, was very professional, polite, courteous and what an outstanding piece of customer service. The hotel management should be proud of her attitude to customers. A smile goes a long way, and she had that in abundance. Have stayed in other branded hotels, and this was our first time at the Hampton, and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

All good and would be 5 stars except it took 3 changes of door card to get ones that worked with the lifts! First cards took us everywhere except the floor we wanted - good job we weren’t in a hurry! Otherwise all excellent-staff were really helpful and rooms comfortable and quiet.

The hotel and staff were lovely, my one main concern was that the fire alarm went off at 1am and we all evacuated, there didn't seem to be many staff on site overseeing the evacuation and we weren't given any information and no head counts seemed to be being done. The only time we saw a member of staff was after the alarm was turned off and we went see about going back in the building.

The hotel and staff were lovely, my one main concern was that the fire alarm went off at 1am and we all evacuated, there didn't seem to be many staff on site overseeing the evacuation and we weren't given any information and no head counts seemed to be being done. The only time we saw a member of staff was after the alarm was turned off and we went see about going back in the building.

Our go to hotel in Birmingham, quick & easy check-in. Every member of staff is very helpful, friendly & polite, from front of house to house keeping. Very handy for pubs, clubs & theatres. Short stroll for shopping or the Christmas market. Parking at the hotel £15. Buffet breakfast has something for all tastes, staff do their best to cover all dietary needs.

We have stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Birmingham a few times now. The staff are 5* they go above and beyond for everyone. A special mention for the breakfast manager and staff who are very accommodating . The location is perfect! Clean room and breakfast included. What else would you need.

The stay at Hampton’s by Hilton was lovely. The room was very clean and a good selection of breakfast to choose from. The staff during breakfast were very friendly and polite. The connecting rooms we received for our family of 5 was very spacious and perfect for sharing as well as having some privacy. Only disappointing thing was the evening reception staff, no smiles, not very welcoming. Seemed annoyed and grumpy and not very helpful. Also the hotel could have offered complimentary water bottles to make tea in the rooms. Would expect a little better amenities for the Hilton group. But overall had a pleasant stay and would come back.

I was disappointed with my stay. The sofa bed in the family room was very uncomfortable. The sliding door to the bathroom did not open properly. There were two fire alarms set off in the middle of the night. The second meant we were standing outside cold in the rain with other hotel guests in a side street for 30min. Whilst I appreciate it was not the staffs fault the alarms were triggered, there was no communication about what was going on and no staff around. The breakfast was ok but again lower standard than I expected. The staff on reception and in the dining room were very good and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Hampton by Hilton. The staff were amazing, friendly and new the rules around my assistance dog (which makes a change as a lot of the hotels I stay in think of her as a pet and either try to restrict my access to certain areas or try to charge for her). I will definitely stay again

We left some property within our room. The hotel team found this and organised it to be posted to us. Lipsa and all the Reception Team were great at communication and sorting the return of our lost property. Brilliant staff

It was absolutely just what we required for a one night visit. Extremely well places near British rail stations and directly on the Broad Street. Good size room, clean and well presented. Breakfast inc in the cost, thoroughly enjoyed what was a good selections.

Property is on a main street with bars and clubs, great location if that is what you are looking for. If you want a quieter room, ask for a high floor or room facing away from the main street Some of the furniture was worn and weathered

Good location for the concert and the breakfast was very nice. Glad we managed to get a room away from the front of the building due to noise from the bar on broad street.

Great stay. Staff were sensitive to the fact I was travelling with a child during a busy event and put us on the upper floor (away from noise). I wouldn’t stay in this area at a weekend with children though as it’s surrounded by nightclubs. Great breakfast, catering for my gluten free requirements. Lifts were confusing though - unsure whether all lifts were for guests or service. Spent a long time waiting for lifts!

Good location to all the attractions and venues with everything in walking distance. Staff was great and hotel was modern and clean. Breakfast was great. The only negative was the city itself is not what it used to be a decade ago, but going for a concert or event is fine.

Hotel staff were very friendly, 24 hour bar (which not many hotels have nowadays), had a gym. Negatives were a 25 minute queue to get a table for breakfast (the queue stretched through the lobby), breakfast was very basic, rooms were quite basic.

Central, rooms were spacious & clean/light and functional with all the necessary amenities you'd need. Car Park on the roof was very handy & reasonable price. Breakfast selection was good.

This hotel was kept well and clean. As the most expensive hotel I’ve stayed in recently, the breakfast was a disappointment. Queues to access due to the breakfast being included in all stays, and the selection was smaller and lower quality than other hotels of a similar standard. No egg for me as the only available option was scrambled, which was coated in pepper completely unnecessarily. They do have fresh waffles, which seem a lovely gimmick for kids, but I’d get the basic hotel breakfast expectations in place first.

Nice, soft and clean towels. The whole environment at the hotel was clean. The only take away point is the dirty plates in the breakfast area. This was highlighted to the staff on duty and rectified. Ps discuss with the relevant staff to properly was dishes. The plates had visible food particles left over from previous wash

Overall a really good experience, only issue we faced was due to how busy the hotel was there could have done with a bit more order in terms of breakfast. We came downstairs at around 9am and there was a queue all the way across past the front desk and took us about 30 minutes to get a table. Perhaps a booking system could have been useful for times when the hotel is so busy? Apart from this though everything else was as good as I would expect and have no other issues.

Hotel in posione ottima per raggiungere il centro anche a piedi, mentre la via di nottee piena di vita e comunque ristoranti, pubs, locali notturni sono tutti li!

A good 3 star Hotel, Choice of breakfast was brilliant, but cold plates. Bed was a little hard, but some would like that. Pillows could of been better in comfort. But that said I would visit again.

We were in an accessible family room. I’m not sure if all the family rooms are accessible or if I booked it by mistake. In any case, it wasn’t very pleasant because the floors weren’t very clean, which is off-putting in a wet-room style bathroom. The shower water went everywhere and was difficult to clean up. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The main bed crackled like a snap bracelet every time we got on or off it. The mattress was really bouncy so the movement of another person in the bed was very disruptive. The foldout children’s bed was AWFUL. The mattress was very thin and sunken, you could feel the springs through it. The bed had metal components sticking out everywhere, which was dangerous. On the positive side the location was convenient, and the breakfast was ok.

At the moment I don’t have any more ideas to give because for my first impression and first visit it was excellent the staff were very helpful even when the system was down but the could serve us with an excellent customer support with all the patience the did not panic to help us Well done
