Disappointed and Done With This Property I’ve been a loyal guest at this Marriott property for years, but this recent stay will absolutely be my last. Imagine my surprise when I discovered they now charge $25 per night just to park on-site — something that was never mentioned in the past and feels like a blatant cash grab. My family and I already shell out a significant amount to stay here, sometimes multiple times a year, but this unnecessary “upcharge” is the final straw. With so many better, more transparent options available, we won’t be back — and neither will our extended family who often traveled with us. To make matters worse, the waterslides were down, the pools and Jacuzzis were out of service, and not a single effort was made to credit or compensate guests for these major inconveniences. If you’re going to tout these amenities as part of the experience, then deliver — or at least acknowledge the failure and make it right. This stay was frustrating, disappointing, and absolutely forgettable. A far cry from the hospitality and value we once associated with Marriott.

This is a very child friendly resort. All the pools were clean, and there is plenty of seating. I reserved this property for the pool slide but was not open during our stay (no notice it would be closed) which was terrible. I was told we would get housekeeping twice during our 5 day stay and we only got it once. No towel service by the pool. The activity center for kids is nice, and the staff was friendly including the housekeeping staff. The only rude people were the lifeguards.

This hotel is great for families. Love the full kitchen, two bedroom options. Love the pools and kids center. Things I would improve on would be more shuttle bus availability (had to walk one day from the far pool to our room because no shuttle) and also it’d be nice if they played movies at the pool more than twice a week during the summer. Also the water slide being only open until 5:30 everyday was definitely a bummer if you’re checking in at 4pm.

Loved the activities offered! Do the glass blowing with Don and Liz—fantastic. The kids had fun and the pools were great. Room was wonderful. We don’t golf but enjoyed the mini golf. Israel at the Chuckealla bar was a hoot. All staff was super friendly. Would stay here again.

The Enclaves portion of the property is at the back end of the facility. There are two pools back there which are great. However, when we were there one of the days the pool was closed. They also do a movie in the pool on Saturday nights, which was great. The enclave’s rooms itself are significantly smaller than the villages so for the price if you’re looking for more room, the villages are a better option.

We had a great time at this resort. It was meticulously clean, the suite was spacious, and it was quiet and peaceful. There are many pools, so it was not too crowded. I did not have to fight for a lounge chair. Will definitely stay again.

Spacious rooms. Found 3 dead cockroaches, there were flies and a bee inside room. AC broke down at the weather was over 100 degress outside. The engineer was prompt to fix it. Check in was HORRIBLE. arrived at 3:15 and our room was not ready yet, check in is at 4pm. Recieved a message at 3:40pm that our villa was clean but needed to be cleared by housekeeping. Then at 4:01 a text said that it wasnt clean yet. We ended up checking in at 4:30pm.

We have stayed at several properties at the Marriott. The Enclaves unit we stayed in was a one bedroom. If you plan on cooking, the kitchen is very limited. No oven. Better for no more than two people.

Issue with booking a room with a balcony, and then being given a room with no balcony, instead of trying to help was told don't book off expedia. Broken toilet. Can't watch TV in bed (fixed doesn't pivot). No late checkout. Charge $25 a day parking. I use to come here multiple times a year, but probably not anymore.

Overall property was excellent . Food choices were limited and pricey if you eat at any of the pool bar & grills . Golf course was very nice looking but for the price , it was better to leave the complex and get a deal at PGA West for much less . If you are an owner with a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom unit it’s nice and roomy . If you are booking the smaller unit with just a King and small fridge and microwave , it’s ok if you don’t plan to stay in the room much , but if you want the have a nice hangout spot with a patio or balcony , you might look elsewhere . Great family complex with plenty to do for the kids . Overall 4 out of 5 stars .

My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and absolutely loved it. The room/villa was very spacious, clean, and nice and cold. The pool was a great time as well. They have a large screen outdoor TV and had the football games on while we were out there. We will be staying here again very soon.

The accommodation was ok but they charged me for the room when I already paid that through Expedia. When I called them they said it was an error and they would reverse it in 47 hrs. It’s been a week and it’s still showing in my debit card and it’s so hard to contact them. My bank says they need a cancelation from Marriott before they can reverse it.

Was not happy that they put us in the corner room in the back of the property. It was dark and secluded, I asked for them to move us and Marriot would not allow us to move somewhere we felt safer due to us booking through Expedia.. The room was not very clean. Terrible customer service

The said the water was going to be shutoff from 1-5pm but in actuality it was down for way past that time. We couldn’t shower, cook or poop. We complained but instead of moving us to another room, they said they can’t do anything about the water and we can leave early and they will pay the remaining night. That there was weird to me. Usually, you want to keep your patrons happy. Staff didn’t care about gaining or losing customers.

Customer service was lacking. One of our rooms was not ready until after 6pm, all we received in exchange for our inconvenience was an "I'm sorry." Only one of our 6 rooms was actually available at check in, which is 4pm, despite having a 10 a.m. check out time. They clerk at check in messed up our reservations so badly we ended up having over 12 extra keys, had to be re-done so many times. It took us over an hour and a half just at the front desk.

Stayed here with my 2 kids. The 1 bedroom villa was superb. The kitchen had all the things necessary to cook. It even had a sponge and dish soap. The room was right across the pool which was perfect for the kids. Movies played at the pool were kid friendly too. Transportation was excellent. They give you a number to text and the shuttle picks you up right in front of your room or close enough. Walmart was about 8 min drive. There are many restaurants near by (5-10 min drive). My kids didn't want to leave. Perfect getaway for families. We also enjoyed the magic show on Tuesday evening. The only thing I wish they had was a dine in restaurant. That would have completed my stay. Will definitely be back.

It’s a good place for family, I selected one bedroom for three nights. I wish a new these please better I could get one for longer time, at least five days or better a week, or even longer if times allows. One bedroom has a big refrigerator, stove, central AC, washer and dryer. And Walmart supercenter six minutes away. You can get anything you need for your stay.

This property is great for families. It is a mile long with three different pools (2 with splash pads), mini golf, basketball, Starbucks, and more! We loved taking a morning walk to get coffee in the morning. They also have a playground attached to the kid’s activities and craft section. They have a water slide, but the only downfall is you have to be 48 inches or taller. Which was a disappointment to my 3 year old. He can swim, but I know most kids his age can’t, so I get it. The grounds were beautiful and well kept up. The staff was very kind, and eager to help. We will definitely be staying again!

The condo was great, had an adjoining room for our adult children giving us each our own space. Kitchen was well equipped. Only drawback for us was the restaurants were closed and the 2 bar and grills by the pool closed at 5pm. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant wasn’t open and no water sold after 6pm. I told the receptionist I needed water for my kids in the middle of the night and they told me to drink from the fountain. The people at the market were rude. No room service. There was no warning

We booked our room for one night on our way to our Joshua tree house for our celebration. It was such a huge disappointment. The room is nothing like described on hotels.com. It’s definitely not a full kitchen, definitely no balcony, the rooms are tiny. We didn’t want to let that destroy our experience so we successfully or so we thought ordered in room dinning to stay in and enjoy the night. We got a call 30mins in that in room dinning doesn’t exist at this location. This is the only hotel I’ve ever been at that doesn’t offer that option. Mind you it was 6pm no 2am. Hotels.com was no help in resolving any of these issues.
