First room we were put into was extremely hot and the bathroom lighting didn’t work. We were moved to another room which was equally as hot. Parking is VERY expensive ($45 for less than 24 hours). Beautiful space, but for the price ($200/night), you should expect functioning AC and free, if not significantly cheaper, parking (even the $20 parking they offer is pricey in the grand scheme of things and compared to other parking in the area).

Great place to stay as a family. Enough space for privacy, simple, convenient services in the room all basically new. Walking distances to restaurants (have to pass under a bridge but close enough). Pool table and fussball in a lounge. Great communications from the staff team.

Laundry Room Suites was a great place. Room was very clean and worked well for our family. Drawbacks/improvements would be to improve extra fees and parking. Days before reservation came emails for prepaid parking and an insurance hold of $250 which wasn’t included in the details for the reservation. We did purchase the prepaid parking but the gate wouldn’t open for us every time we entered the parking facility. We had to supply our credit card again and then when followed up with the front desk, they said to call security when we had issue. This was very time consuming every time because the security guard asked us to scan our QR code (which we weren’t provided) and couldn’t hear our licence plate correctly with the connection and caused regular residents become impatient with us at the gate. A retractable blind or frost the glass in the window of the master bath would be nice. (Someone in a nearby home with a telescope/binoculars could have a quite the view in). A few more coffee supplies would also be an added touch. (There wasn’t enough coffee and coffee-mate supplied. Only 2 coffee, 2 decaf coffee and 6 coffee mate single servings supplied).

The suite itself is well appointed, clean and comfortable. However, it is noisy as the laundry and any noise in the hall is easily heard in the apartment. Many of the amenities were non functional (spa, bowling alley), the gym is overheated with no access to water. The wifi is good in the apartment but there is no wifi anywhere else in the building - so in the gym or common areas you need to use cellular. The building itself seemed run down, not clean and where renovation was happening it was dirty and not cleaned up. I would not stay again.

Very clean room, it's a new condo building. The location is good. Only issue was use of parking lot had some initial hiccup because the system could not scan the license plate and pressing the HELP button didn't do anything. Other than that, great stay and great communication.

Parking structure is very confusing as 3 buildings are interconnected and all have same lift system you get confused which building you gonna end up parking in. Other than that service is perfect nice quite comfy space

Beautiful property, looks clean ( but there are smudges on the wall and door, I cleaned it with my own disinfectant wipes), comfy bed, water in the shower is very slow ( but it was probably intended that way so water don't get out from the shower), you have everything you need- from cooking utensils, microwave, oven, dishwasher. We enjoyed our stay. Robert (from concierge) was friendly and spoke to me with kindness!

Loud and noisy, drafty. Floor was sticky upon arrival, balcony had a lovely view of the cash money. Staff was okay when you could find them. Key Fob didnt work most of the time and so had to wait for concierge to become available to get up to room. No amenities whatsoever, required a functional key fob. No hand soap was left. Bathroom sink was grimy. Will charge you a pet cleaning fee no matter how clean you leave the property. Its actually just a pet cleaning tax. Thoroughly unimpressed with this property. Unimpressed how I had to pay for parking, pay 100 dollars for a pet cleaning fee so that someone could pocket the money as the property was left in a very clean state. Unimpressed with my deposit being held hostage until the fee is paid.

I've stayed at the Laundry Rooms about 5 times in the past year and the rooms are great. The rooms are always clean, spacious and better equipped than most hotels. The balconies have some great views. The check in process is quick and easy. I also really appreciate that they're flexible and accommodating with early arrival times and later check outs when I requested them. This is my preferred place to stay in the KW area and I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a longer stay.

The self contained apartments are well appointed, including everything you need for a short or longer stay. April marks the beginning of construction season and there’s a massive building going up next to the building my unit was in. The NE corner of the building is quieter so ask for a room that side. The SW corner where my unit was (1902) is plagued by the constant noise of generators and the dawn to dusk racket of construction. Sleep was very difficult, and who can lay comfortably with noise cancelling earphones/headphones? What to do?

Great to place to stay close to downtown and the train station. Full apartment with everything you need, including washer dryer, iron, vacuum, dish soap and sponge, laundry detergent, wifi, dishes and cutlery, pots and utensils. Short walk to the Ion light rail and shops and restaurants. I stayed two nights but can imagine enjoying a longer stay here. The concierge staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The suite was very nice but the water was lukewarm in the shower and the temperature thermostat wasn’t working. The temperature was 81 when we checked in and we had to open the balcony door to be comfortable. The temperature never went below 75.

Stayed in Unit 1910 which is on the penthouse floor. Clean, modern, nice sized, 1 bedroom apartment. Decorated in a zoomer style, which is not a bad thing, I just noticed since I am a Gen Xer. Shower and shower supplies. Comfy bed. Good amenities: tea, coffer sugar and coffee mate provided. Kitchen stocked with dishes, cups and glasses, cutlery and some cooking implements, stove with oven, full size fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. In a good location with attentive service.

Heating was broken, blowing on full blast. It was stuck on 27 degrees, even with the A/C on. We were greeted by building security upon arrival who quickly provided us a key and instructions. Fob was convenient and building was safe and secure, however it is located in a noisy area along a busy road (all hours of the night). unfortunately, We had to leave the patio door open due to the broken heating.

There are pre check in items to be completed online as there is no hotel front desk service. FOB has to be picked up at the front desk. Parking needs to be arranged in advance Rooms are nice and comfortable, kitchenette and laundry machines available. Room was clean. I'm assuming that rooms are better in spring or summer. In December the room was cold. Floor was cold and the heat only adjustable to 70F. Lukewarm air was coming from the vent. Many floor to ceiling windows which contribute to the cold. I had to wear sweatshirt and sweatpants in bed. Otherwise the room is fine and kept in good condition, furniture is simple and modern. Ok for our one night stay. Located near the Google office. Nit.much else around in terms of restaurants etc. Categorized as a two star on Expedia, should be a three star.

The AC was locked and couldn’t be turned down without receiving a video, the kitchen table and chairs are wobbly, the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad, there is no luggage cart which is no big deal unless you have a lot to cart to the 19th floor. There is a parking fee, cleaning fee, and pet fee which total as much as the one night stay. Just really was not impressive and wouldn’t stay again.

I've stayed at the Laundry Rooms about 5 times in the past year and the rooms are great. The rooms are always clean, spacious and better equipped than most hotels. The balconies have some great views. The check in process is quick and easy. I also really appreciate that they're flexible and accommodating with early arrival times and later check outs when I requested them. This is my preferred place to stay in the KW area and I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a longer stay.

Very slow check in. Security guard (not a concierge) check us in. Obvious paint damage to doors in unit (I felt it necessary to forward photos to management to avoid being blamed.). Parking process unclear for in and out privileges. I’m not sure if I was charged twice for parking as a result. No receipt given when I returned fobs despite requesting one. In summary: did not feel like a hotel experience.

The managers of this property are unaccommodating to say the least. In all honesty they are completely ineffective, and it feels maliciously so. They kept about half of my safety deposit because of some hidden charge that they did not make clear to me until my stay was over. No one was picking up the phone for any of my 13 attempts of getting in contact. overall very unprofessional and slimy. The front desk workers were very professional and agreeable.

What a great spot - cute spaces, comfortable bed & pillows, very clean and convenient to the train and public transit. Perfect if doing business in KitchenerWaterloo. Only drawback is that is not close by to walk to dining or groceries. I will stay again!

the Laundry Rooms are self-contained apartments within a newly built high-rise condo. I've stayed in two different rooms, across from each other, on the 19th floor and they were equally excellent, fully kitted out with everything you need, including an excellent view of the city and surrounding area. There are two grocery stores within 10 minutes walk from the building, so if inclined (as I am) you can prepare meals for yourself. There is complimentary coffee and (black) tea as well. If disinclined to cook, downtown Kitchener is a five minute walk or you can jump on the LRT and ride it the 10 minutes it takes to get to Uptown Waterloo. Well worth the price, it seems to me.
