Overall stay/value was good. Free parking but have to pay for breakfast, which was decent.

Everything was great except the pool area. The temperature was too hot.

We stayed for one night at this hotel in the Barboursville area. We were traveling with 2 small dogs-the hotel is pet-friendly with ample space for walking dogs. The room had refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker which was all very convenient. The bed was comfy and the black out shades allowed us to sleep in a little bit. Great place to stay. Also recommend the 1861 public house for pizza and beer/drinks and Oscar’s for breakfast and burgers!

Excellent stay. Great room. Comfortable bed. Relaxed in the pool and hot tub for a nice quiet time. Definite recommend staying here.

The hotel was immaculate and the room was very nice. Everything was clean and fresh. The pool was undergoing maintenance and was closed which is the whole reason I got the hotel in the first place, so not knowing ahead of time was very frustrating.

Room smelled very discusting. It was a smell i couldnt get nose blind to. (Only way to describe the smell is.. public bathroom trashcan/fishy) room apeared to be clean, i think it was the air conditioner. There was a power outage during my stay and staff was super friendly with all my questions. Hotel didnt smell weird in any other areas and was clean. fishtank in the lobby is amazing.

The carpet in the room was not clean. My pink socks became very dirty within a few minutes of walking around. The back entrance to the hotel was supposed to be secured with access only by an active room key; the door lock was broken and anyone could enter. We felt quite vulnerable as a result.

The hotel was great. My only complaint was that the tub was peeling which was kinda gross but other than that everything was clean and in good condition.

Facility was nice but air conditioning was loudest I have ever herd and bed was very uncomfortable and the shower faucet leaked all night long you could hear every noise around you when air unit was off worst night of sleep I have had in years could have just been my room only

The rooms were clean, comfy, and quite roomy. The blinds that actually blocked the light were a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was nice! However for the price and it being a Marriott it was just a little disappointing as it was missing character and was just slightly out dated it felt like.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lobby and outer premise was very nice comparative to the room. Our door when entering our room creaked so badly when we opened it that we thought it was going to fall off. There was a weird smell in the room and our blind was broken so it wouldn’t go up. Room was decently clean bathroom wasn’t in the greatest shape. Just wasn’t what we had anticipated with the price and after entering the hotel.

The room was quiet and clean. It was supposed to be a King bed however it felt more like a queen and was too firm. I felt like I slept on a board. My son slept on the pull out sofa bed, which was more comfortable than the bed. Once the pull out is out you didn’t have very much room.

It's really nice to find a hotel with a pool and hot tub and restaurant all. The only thing we didn't like was the curtains, there were no heavier curtains to pull over the sheer ones which made the room too bright at night, I also feel like heavier curtains would help muffle some highway noise.

I was very upset with my stay here there was children and adults yelling and running up and down the halls till later this morning also around 9:45 or 10:00 am housekeeping just walks on in my room without knocking check outs not till 12 also I was charged another 25.00 upon my arrival so I was not happy with my trip to the delta hotel

Very nice and clean. No one was attentive in the restaurant or bar. We also had to wait 8 minutes when we arrived. There were absolutely no employees in the lobby. My wife and I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and still no bar tender. It was like no one worked there.

The staff was amazing. Something broke in our room after arrival and they had us moved and comped for breakfast about 15 minutes.

This is the first time we stayed in a Delta hotel and it was a great experience. The hotel was very clean and welcoming, especially the staff. The food in the restaurant was really good compared to most hotels and should be considered restaurant quality food. The breakfast buffet was great as well. We did encounter an issue with the staff while we were trying to enjoy our breakfast. Our waitress was April and she was the sweetest and kindest person and did an excellent job with service. It was really top notch. However, while we were eating our breakfast, her boss, Macy (the Manager) was reprimanding her about some issue from the previous day. We found it to be extremely rude that the manager of the hotel was doing this in front of customers and did not seem to care. At one point she did go into the kitchen, but the door was open and we still heard her all the way at our table. This should not have happened in an open area especially in front of customers. She could have simply asked April to speak with her in the office. We consider this manger to be inconsiderate when it comes to customers. We felt really bad for April and reassured her she was doing an excellent job. I feel the manager needs to take a hospitality course in managing/discipling employees and customer service as well as be reprimanded by her superiors. Her actions are unbecoming of management and should not have happened the way it did. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Night staff did nothing about excessively loud people in the room next to me and outside in gathering areas. Excessive loud talking, laughing and drinking going on until 1230 or 1 AM in the morning. I couldn’t sleep at all and had eight hours of traveling the next day, which made it extremely dangerous for me. I only had three hours of sleep and at 12:30 AM at night had to, move from the room I was booked into because of excessive noise of the people next to me and had to move all of my stuff into a separate room just to get sleep. The manager the next morning was professional and said he would comp that whole night stay for free, but he said he’s unable to because of booking through Expedia. Will never use Expedia again, will never stay at Marriott again because of such a bad experience .

Check in was quick, room and public areas were clean but the staff went above and beyond to make sure you had a great stay. My boys wanted pizza, the front desk gave us phone numbers. When the pizza arrived in the lobby the bar tender asked if we needed plates. The front desk asked if we enjoyed our day out when we came in. Every employee we passed greeted us and other guests. Breakfast staff checked on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. Although everything was great, It was your amazing staff that stood out to me. We've stayed in hotels, resorts, condos, cabins and even cruise ships, all can be great places but not all have a great staff.

Property was nice . Staff wasn’t as nice . Accident had my card locked on my phone where I’m traveling & I have to unlock it to use it. When it declined because it was locked , the staff responded “sorry your card declined for a $25 charge” with a smirk on her face & laughed . Also made sure guests behind me heard it as well.

Very helpful staff, able to get me checked in early and helped me with some good recommendations for places to go while in town.

Definitely would stay here again. Friendly staff. You're near the highway and popular restaurants. Good value

Great property. Easy to get to and lots of dining options in close proximity.

It was all good. Just do not get a room on the 1st floor if you are a light sleeper. The vehicles parked outside your window are mostly contractors with trucks and they get up early to go to their work sites.

Close to mall and convenient

Directly next to the Huntington Mall and a strip club. LOL Felt safe, Staff were all very polite. Room was average, bed was clean and soft.

The only drawback is the odd entrance drive. Everything else is wonderful. Free breakfast would be nice though.

The location was very clean and quiet even on a Friday evening in the late summer.

Not much they can do about it but getting out of the parking lot was a little challenging if you actually want to go toward shopping/restaurants but Starbucks is very conveniently located. The hallway temperatures were cold.

All-in-all I liked this hotel a lot more than others I have stayed at recently. Though some changes could be made to make this hotel exceptional. For instance the elevators were noisy, slow and did not feel very stable. Second the hotel software needs to communicate better with third party vendors for booking information. On this particular trip I had to find evidence of and prove that I purchased breakfast when I booked. Little things to some, I’m sure. But when paying higher prices for a room, one expects a higher standard! Lastly, I’ll mention the hotel restaurant. It was truly great. Great dinner and dessert and by far the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel in years!

They charge too much for breakfast. They need a less expensive grab and go.

The young woman at the front desk was so awesome! I wish I could remember her name. (I checked in on March 21 @ 4 pm.) The room was beautiful! The pool, restaurant and bar gave the hotel a "tourist like" feel, which was great! The breakfast was subpar, and the food was not really warm. I think the cost for the breakfast was steep, given what was provided. You can get this same breakfast at Holiday Inn Express for free.

Very clean room and bathroom. Just the way I love it. Called restaurant in the evening to order some food but got no response. Ended up ordering online and got it doordashed to the room. No big deal. I love everything about the hotel. Great location and parking space too.

Nice hotel. Good location. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was good.

The only issue I had was there was an option at the time of booking to pay for breakfast. We were there Friday afternoon through Monday morning. Saturday morning breakfast was free for everyone. No one maked any distinction between those who may have paid and those who didn't. Sunday there was a sign indicating there was a charge for breakfast. While I explained that my booking included breakfast for my wife and I, there was still some confusion on what to do. We eventually got out breakfast comped. Now, speaking of breakfast, the area was clean enough but it was the worst breakfast setup, both with selections and service. Many lesser hotels offer a much nicer breakfast setup with better selections and nicer setup.
