Hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk to the main area full of shops and restaurants. The property itself is great value for money, it has an older feel and room quite small but that did not bother us at all, we really felt comfortable staying there and loved the seating areas outside each room to relax in. A higher floor had chairs facing the volcano which was fabulous. Pool was brilliant and perfect temperature. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Tea and coffee available whenever we wanted it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We booked tours through the hotel too which were a great price. One great perk is that you get use of their sister hotel Volcano Lodge where there’s a lovely pool and hot springs. Definitely need to take advantage of this, the gardens there are beautiful to walk round and we had an amazing afternoon there. Overall an absolutely great hotel to stay at, would highly recommend

Sentralt hotell med fint bassengområde og god frokostbuffet som blir servert ved bassenget. Hyggelig betjening. Det beste av alt er at hotellet har en avtale med søsterhotellet Vulcano Lodge der gjestene kan benytte seg av de fantastiske termalbassengene helt gratis. Helt fantastisk flott!

Ótimo hotel, com ótima estrutura e uma linda vista do vulcão Arenal da piscina. O quarto que eu fiquei não era muito confortável, mas a estrutura do hotel compensa muito. Hospedando nesse hotel você ainda tem a possibilidade de utilizar as termas do Volcano Lodge durante a estadia sem custos adicionais. O café da manhã é muito saboroso, com boa variedade e com alguns itens locais. A localização é ótima, bem perto da área central da cidade. Os funcionários são muito gentis e atenciosos. Adorei minha estadia nesse hotel.

Other than that- beds were comfortable and everything was clean, there is coffee and tea available 24/7 and a small bottle if wine to welcome you. Breakfast is included and it was delicious. You can use their sister property with hot spring pools free of charge and they will even lend you a towel! The place has an area to shower and change for guests from San Bosco.

We stayed at this hotel to visit hot springs and to do rafting in the neighbourhood. Good buffet breakfast in front of the swimming pool. Good rooms. Private parking. Safe lockers in the rooms. Good Price. Located in the downtown fortuna but quiet area. Option to use one day for free the thermal baths in the hotel Volcano Lodge.

This hotel was a great choice. The included breakfast was amazing, it’s very centrally located AND the free use of hot springs at their sister hotel was an incredible added bonus. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were well-kept and clean. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Perfect for the price. The breakfast was outstanding, the location was an ideal home base for day trips, the staff were helpful, friendly and kind. Loved it here. The room is very basic and could use a little tlc, but it is clean and spacious.

For the price, this is a nice little hotel with very friendly staff, right in the middle of town. The room was simple and clean, nothing fancy. And we spent an evening at the hot springs of their sister hotel. It was perfect for what we needed, no complaints.

Bosco Inn was well located. It was clean and comfortable. We were able to get room for 3, with 3 beds. Breakfast was delicious! Added plus we were able to go to use Thermal pools at their sister property- Volcano Lodge, for free. That was great!

Loved this little gem. Such a good price for an old but well maintained and comfortable stay. Great pool and breakfast, amazing location in town and loved the access to sister property. Went there every night! The street traffic can be a little noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this place. The staff is super helpful and it is a very convenient location here in Main restaurants and shops. I would stay here again. The pillows are very hard.

It was nothing special but then a decent price so you get what you pay for. Our room was very dark and painted brown so made it darker and bit dismal. Felt more like a motel, but the breakfast was good.

Staff was excellent. The rooms are VERY loud from the noise in the area...and it goes all night long. I would suggest more than just a thin sheet for the beds as well.

The staff was amazing (front desk and house keeping). They were attentive and helpful. The rooms are great for the price and the pool has a great view of the volcano. The breakfast was good. In walking distance to lot of food options.

One block from Town Square. Lots of places to eat within 5 min . Clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was great… so was the FREE Sister hotel …. Volcano Lodge …. Beautiful property to enjoy their great hotsprings . Food was good there too… went 2 days ! Uber there was usually $5 I live in Costa Rica on the Caribbean … will for sure go back to La Fortuna and will stay at San Bosco Inn! Comfy beds … AC if needed… only used it one night … I stayed for 4 nights

Hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk to the main area full of shops and restaurants. The property itself is great value for money, it has an older feel and room quite small but that did not bother us at all, we really felt comfortable staying there and loved the seating areas outside each room to relax in. A higher floor had chairs facing the volcano which was fabulous. Pool was brilliant and perfect temperature. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Tea and coffee available whenever we wanted it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We booked tours through the hotel too which were a great price. One great perk is that you get use of their sister hotel Volcano Lodge where there’s a lovely pool and hot springs. Definitely need to take advantage of this, the gardens there are beautiful to walk round and we had an amazing afternoon there. Overall an absolutely great hotel to stay at, would highly recommend

Loved this little gem. Such a good price for an old but well maintained and comfortable stay. Great pool and breakfast, amazing location in town and loved the access to sister property. Went there every night! The street traffic can be a little noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

Hospedando nesse hotel você ainda tem a possibilidade de utilizar as termas do Volcano Lodge durante a estadia sem custos adicionais. O café da manhã é muito saboroso, com boa variedade e com alguns itens locais. A localização é ótima, bem perto da área central da cidade. Os funcionários são muito gentis e atenciosos. Adorei minha estadia nesse hotel.

Very nice property just meters from downtown area. Easy to access restaurants and shops. There was access to a sister property that had hotsprings that we didn’t, take advantage of.

Great location for the price, specially the access to the thermal springs at the Volcano Lodge. My only complain is that the breakfast was cold at 9 am when they offer it until 9:30 am.

Perfect for the price. The breakfast was outstanding, the location was an ideal home base for day trips, the staff were helpful, friendly and kind. Loved it here. The room is very basic and could use a little tlc, but it is clean and spacious.

We stayed at this hotel to visit hot springs and to do rafting in the neighbourhood. Good buffet breakfast in front of the swimming pool. Good rooms. Private parking. Safe lockers in the rooms. Good Price. Located in the downtown fortuna but quiet area. Option to use one day for free the thermal baths in the hotel Volcano Lodge.

This hotel was a great choice. The included breakfast was amazing, it’s very centrally located AND the free use of hot springs at their sister hotel was an incredible added bonus. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were well-kept and clean. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Bosco Inn was well located. It was clean and comfortable. We were able to get room for 3, with 3 beds. Breakfast was delicious! Added plus we were able to go to use Thermal pools at their sister property- Volcano Lodge, for free. That was great!

Hotel très bien situé dans La Fortuna, avec de bons restaurants à proximité en cas de pluies tropicales ! L'accès à la belle piscine et aux termes de l'hotel Volcano Lodge est vraiment top. Le parc dans lequel est situé la piscine de ce dernier est superbe et le restaurant de très grande qualité. Top en retour d'excursion. Sinon chambres simples, propres et fonctionnelles.

Loved my stay here. Ultra friendly staff, good selection available for breakfast (and it started early enough so I could still get some before heading out on tours), a nice pool area, and easy walking access to all of the bars and restaurants etc. The room itself wasn’t massive but it had everything I needed and was perfectly comfortable.From memory, I got one of the cheaper options at the time, so I wasn’t exactly expecting a palace anyway. My one very tiny complaint would be the magnetic door card, which I needed to get reset about 4 times during my stay, but the staff at least never got irritated when I went to ask.
