Nice older motel that has been well maintained. Our room was very clean, the pool/spa area was well kept and the water looked pristine. We were on the first floor in an end room near the pool and we had a great night’s sleep, nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent base for exploring Yosemite and Sequoia Redwoods and Kings Canyon parks along with the town of Mariposa itself. Easy parking, Wifi and good breakfast. The small area of note was the cleaning product smell in the room (possibly carpet cleaner?) but overall we had a great stay.

The breakfast was poor, who eats hard boiled eggs? Staff had a problem with the coffee and juice machines every morning as if they had never done it before. Very limited in choices. The pool was cool and there were no elevators so had to walk up stairs to get to room. The property is very spread out and parking was limited. Not the most up to date rooms. Cracked sink and toilet. Probably would not stay here again.

We chose the hotel as a base for our two day trips to Yosemite National Park and were very happy with it. We had a room with two queen size beds. These were comfortable and there is a bedside table with plenty of power sockets. There is also a TV, a microwave, a coffee machine with coffee powder, cups etc. and a large fridge. There was also air conditioning and a table with two chairs. We also had a balcony. The bathroom with shower tray was clean, everything worked and there was small shampoo etc. as well as a hairdryer. The WIFI worked very well both in the room and in the pool area. Parking was easy in the courtyard directly in front of the room. The pool and the hot jacuzzi are open from 9am to 10pm. There are also towels and picnic benches in a green area. After our long hike, we spent the evening relaxing in the jacuzzi. Breakfast was served daily from 7 - 9 am. There was seating both inside and outside. The selection was good for an American breakfast. There was coffee, orange juice and apple juice, two kinds of cereal, waffle iron, toast, bread and jams as well as hot sausages, eggs and apples and muffins. Overall, we were very satisfied with the Miners Inn and can recommend it.

It was overall excellent. The check in was smooth and easy with great customer service from the lady. She answered all my questions and was nice and friendly. Nice pool with towels. Clean room and property was well kept.

I liked: that it was in a convenient location (on our way to the nearby park), the free breakfast served each morning (yummy available options), the availability of both a hot tub and pool (the pool was too cold, and the hot tub was almost always occupied ;-(, the quietness of the area and simple drive into the small downtown area, the availability of the drying light inside the bathroom. I didn't like: the openness of the building. Neither of the outside doors closed, making the building accessible to anyone to come and go as they pleased (unsafe). On both our first and second nights we had a homeless man sleeping near the stairway near our room door.

Refrigerator in room did not work. Was offered a new room but was already settled. Hot Tub barely functioned. Was told towels at pool area. We did not find enought towels for our family of 4. I went to room still wet from hot tub. Ot was an ok place to stay.

My sister and I stayed 3 nights at this property. It has close access to the quaint town of Mariposa and is a reasonable drive to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove which were the purpose of our visit. The rooms and hallways seemed fairly recently refreshed with paint and carpet and didn't look as dated as I expected from pictures online. The room was very spacious. The shower was rough looking but clean; however, the shower head was way too low, even for someone who is 5'5". The hot tub was closed off, and it didn't look in great shape. We did not use the pool, but it looked ok and other guests did use it. There was ample and easy parking. We liked that the rooms were off an interior hallway. Very quiet! The AC was also quiet and worked well. The breakfast didn't have much variety and was the same every day. So, it's good to have lower expectations for it, but we were glad to have something before we headed out for our adventures. The staff seemed kind. We put the hanger on our door for service and got none, so we figure you must have to call the desk for it. All in all, our stay met our needs!

The room was very clean. I love that they use blankets for the bed spreads, instead of real bedspreads. Really nice carpet. Just a really good room. Front desk lady was really sweet and very helpful and letting me in my room a little earlier than check in time. I was exhausted and that spoke volumes. Excellent experience all away around.

I stayed in this hotel years ago . The place is running down. The room was clean but didn't smell good. Bathtub and sink had stains. It's an old place that can use facelift.

the room definitely felt neglected. dirty carpet , my feet were black after walking on it barefoot. the room smelled very moldy and musty. hairs in the tub and on the bedding. the small coffee pot was left on and used coffee pods and coffee left in it. it did nOT auto shut off,a true fire danger! a few spiders and bugs creeping around and cat food in the hallway leading to an outside door which was always found propped open(Horrible security issues here). Breakfast was marginal at best. Options of bananas or oranges would have been nice than just red apples. Juice machine didn't work. Front desk personnel were very kind and friendly. Location good for a stay in Mariposa. would stay here again if I didn't have a choice and if they would at least clean it better.

The Inn needs updating. Mirror was peeling and carpet was dirty. I wore socks and they were filthy in minutes. The staff was very pilite and helpful. The amenities need improving. No hair conditioner, but the lotion is nice. The pool was clean and so was the jacuzzi. The resturant there appeared too dirty for me to eat in. I do recommend Charles Street steak house. Expensive, but excellent... Try a dessert. .

This property is in desperate need of an upgrade. The rooms stick like smoke and screens fall off have holes in them. Many items broken. I became ill after staying in hotel. The heater didn't work right and was extremely noisy. The smoke smell was so bad I had to leave the door cracked. It was honestly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

This place has great pillows. They've updated what really matters in a hotel without worrying about asthetics. E.g. finishes are old, but everything was clean, they have a pool, hot tub, breakfast, competent staff, and did I say, actually comfortable pillows!

Mariposa is a nice little town. We decided to stay outside the national park just to see more of the area. Room was clean, jet tub was awesome, bed comfy and room was extremely spacious. They had eggs, sausages and waffles for breakfast. If we come back to this area we will stay here.

Great location, easy parking and navigation around town, super friendly staff. Breakfast is a bit sparse but wonderfully filling. Only drawback is the bathroom is a bit cramped and showerhead so low that my head kept hitting it accidentally (I'm only 5'10") and I had to squat to get a good shower in.

Miners Inn is located in the heart of Mariposa town nestled in the hills offering a beautiful view of the surroundings. It was clean, comfortable, had a decent sized room and decent breakfast service. The only issue was, the pillows were a little too soft, otherwise beds were quite comfortable. Would definitely recommend Miners' Inn to friends and family.

We came to the room around 9pm. It was 90 degrees inside. A/C was working very poorly. It was prob. 85 degrees in the room in the morning. Otherwise good place with good price and breakfast - included.

Miners Inn had the most wonderful front desk staff I've ever come across. Joe at the front desk was extremely kind and went way above and beyond to make sure that two "little old ladies" got all the help we needed to get settled in our room. Joe even unloaded our bags from our car for us (and all with a big friendly smile on his handsome face). The breakfast bar was well stocked and had employees available to lend a helping hand as needed. The room was clean and had lots of space. All in all, one of the best hotel stays I've experienced in many years. A great big thank you to Miners Inn, Joe and Joe's Mom Christina!

We had to reschedulel our trip, so I reached out to the inn to ask if we could reschedule our booking (even though the change window had officially closed, according to my booking on Expedia). The inn responded that, since the reservation was made through Expedia, I needed to contact them instead. Expedia was very accomodating and then contacted the inn to request a rebooking on my behalf, but unfortunately, the inn declined. I believe the inn could have been more transparent from the start and simply told me they weren’t willing to accommodate any changes. It would have saved both me and the Expedia staff unnecessary effort. I understand they had the right to say no- and I would have respected that- but it would have been appreciated if they had just said so clearly, instead of trying to put it on someone else. As a result, I didn’t stay at this inn and chose a different option instead, and will do so in the future.

I had reserved room for 2 nights. After the first night spoke to cleaning lady to ensure room make up. When I returned in the evening for the second night, room was not cleaned. Bed not made up. Toilet was dirty and new fresh towels not provided. When I complained at the front desk I was told that I had left a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door. A total lie.

The room was clean. And was exactly what we expected based on the photos. The service was where I was most impressed. I forgot my apple watch in the room. I called while on the road from Yosemite to Sequoia NP and Christine took the time to personally check the room for my watch. Not once but twice when I called back to see if she checked some specific areas. She actually found my watch and is shipping it back to me! Thank you so much Christine! You sure made my day!❤️

Just outside Yosemite Park entrance. Say a 45 minute drive (in the morning). Booked this hotel to get ahead of the line in to the park, and this worked very well. Friendly staff, several restaurants nearby, but location was the winner for us.

After a day at Yosemite, we headed to our stay in Mariposa. Seeing how much there was to do in town, we decided against our original plan to drive to Hetch Hetchy and spent the day in Mariposa instead, checking out the very interesting Mariposa History Museum, the Court House ( the oldest in California still in use), the California State Mining and Mineral Museum, and ending the day at the Casto Oaks Wine Tasting Room downtown before checking out some downtown shops and galleries, then enjoying a delicious dinner at the Charles Street Dinner House. I encourage people to add a day in Mariposa to their Yosemite plans! We were able to walk from the hotel to several of these stops, then drove just a couple miles for the others.

We got really good deal, Nice classic hotel located about one hour drive from either entrance of the Yosemite National Park. The drive is scenic and we deemed that it was worth booking here and not in the valley. The interior of the rooms is a bit classic but you are only here to sleep anyway. Staff is very friendly and nice and helpful and breakfast service includes fresh waffles, which is unbeatable ;-) Nice beds and large fridge made the stay complete for a cheaper price in that nice location.

Miners Inn is located in the heart of Mariposa town nestled in the hills offering a beautiful view of the surroundings. It was clean, comfortable, had a decent sized room and decent breakfast service. The only issue was, the pillows were a little too soft, otherwise beds were quite comfortable. Would definitely recommend Miners' Inn to friends and family.

We were tired after spent the entire day in Yosemite so we enjoyed a lot the pool of the hotel. There are a restaurant and a Karaoke bar in the same building. The Yosemite’s visitor center is across the street as well a Gas Station. The Mariposa Welcome Center and The Yosemite Valley entrance are 1 hr driving from the hotel, of course they are in different directions. They are plenty of parking. The breakfasts included in our stay, boiled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, bread, oats, fruits , coffee and juice. We were told the breakfast started at 7am but it is wrong because it started at 6am so, if you are in a hurry to get the Yosemite Park you can her your breakfast earlier because at 7.30 there will not be enough food so you have to eat only cereal or wait for more food.

The pool was cool and there were no elevators so had to walk up stairs to get to room. The property is very spread out and parking was limited. Not the most up to date rooms. Cracked sink and toilet. Probably would not stay here again.

It's an older place but okay. I would have rated one star higher if the breakfast was better. It was hard boiled eggs every day and nothing healthy other than the hard boiled eggs, raisin bran and apples. I'm not into biscuits and gravy, white flower bagels, toast and waffles. good food! we liked their cereal options, the lemon poppy muffins, the gravy, and the mini waffles. Very appealing for young adults and kids. The beds were also super comfortable, maybe too comfortable (it was too easy to sleep in). We also liked the jacuzzi, thought felt a little small. also good service (the toilet was clogged when we got there but they addressed the issue quickly)

Well, I will say the staff was commonly nice. The breakfast was OK. I left the waffles and they have plenty of other things. What wasn’t good was that the TV had a coaxial thing that was falling apart I had to stick the coaxial metal piece into the back of the TV so we couldn’t watch anything it was snowy the air conditioner needs to be serviced. I think this place needs some TLC.
