Hotel was in an excellent location in the heart of town. During the weekend I was there, there were revellers right outside the hotel. Despite that, my room was very quiet as it faces away from the main street. My only gripe is the situation with the lifts. The hotel has 2 lifts which are also shared by guests to the restaurant on the roof. During peak hours, the lifts could get busy, making it more troublesome to get into and out of the hotel.

Nos encanta esta linea de hotel. Nos hemos quedado varias veces en este y en otros que tienen en el area. Limpio, conveniente, tiene todo lo que dice tener el apto. Es céntrico, tienes desayuno, un rooftop. Muy cordial el personal. Wifi funciona muy bien. Esta vez solo tenia un elevador funcionando pero no fue de problema, algo de paciencia nada mas.

Está divina, nos atendieron de maravilla, sólo que un elevador no funcionaba y está demasiado solicitado. El área de recepción es muy chica, pareciera que está en remodelación. La habitación hermosa, el agua de la regadera se sale por todos lados.

great location and helpful staff - suite was clean and soundproof, with a well-designed kitchen and easy to use washing machine (rare for Europe!). only downsides: the wait for elevators due to the popularity of the rooftop bar and the design of the shower - impossible to keep the floor from getting wet!

Rooms were clean, spent 4 nights there and no cleaning services were provided despite following instructions of placing sign on door. Room wasn’t facing the street as in the picture, no natural light. The restaurant was great and the staff were amazing, Gabi and Juan are the best!!!

The location in Gran Via was good. Very central. The place was late for check in. The floors were dirty with hair and stains. There was a horrible sewage smell permanently in the hallways. The sofa was uncomfortable. Also on Christmas morning a very loud alarm rang at 9 am.

We loved the location of this property and we felt the staff were friendly and helpful. However we found the suite to be a bit run down. The suite did not have a warm and comfortable feel to it. There was a consistent sewage smell in the hallways.

Lejligheden var dårligt møbleret og man fik nærmest klaustrofobi af at opholde sig i den. Der lugtede flere steder af kloak på hotellet, og i elevatorerne havde man så opsat en duft boks der sprayede syntetisk jordbær duft ud for at skjule kloak lugten, virkelig dårlig kombination. Super god beliggenhed

Smartrental collection is a apart hotel right in the middle of madrid city center. It is walkable distance to many main attractions of the madrid city. There is hope on hope off bus stand near by but if you like walking you don't need it. We stayed nine night and the apartment is modern and with fully equipped kitchen so can do your own cooking. There is carefour grocer store near by where you can buy most of your grocery need. The staff at this hotel is very nice and helpful and always willing to sort out what ever you issues. Andres at the reception help me to change my apartment cause i wanted room with city view. The reason I gave this hotel four star is that there is strang smell like sewage leak in left hand corridor of the building. This issue I read from the previous reviews also.And also the TV not working and there is no engish channel there was engish news channel but doesn't work most of time my stay. Yet I still strongly recommend this hotel due to its proximity and bussy day and night life. Will come back if I ever get chance to come to madrid

We had an exellent stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The appartment is great and in the city centre. It is actually quiet inside although it is very busy in the street and square in front of the hotel.

This is a great location in the heart of Madrid, but the accommodations were a little worn and lacking. In our unit, we were missing a closet door, several lights were flickering, wi-fi was very inconsistent, and the mattresses weren't great. On the positive side, the rooftop restaurant and bar offered incredible views and decent food (we had the breakfast daily) and it was nice to have extra space for our family of four (vs. hotel room). Also, the staff was great and very friendly. Overall, it worked out well.

Excellent studio terrace room. View from the room right across the city. We were on the 9th floor. Yes there is city noise but we enjoyed watching and listening to the buzz of the city. When the door were closed the noise was gone and we were able to sleep peacefully. I would definitely recommend this hotel and specifically the terrace room. We booked half board and I would not recommend that you do this. The staff seemed unsure if the half board dinner option. There was no menu to view. They read out he options which was sometimes difficult due to the language barrier. Only 3 options for starts, mains and dessert. We were there for 5 nights meaning we'd need to eat the same food at least twice. I didn't enjoy the main courses therefore we were forced to eat out one night to get a break from the food. We would definitely come back to the hotel booking the room only option as there are so many eating places around the hotel.

La ubicación es excelente, en plena Gran Vía, perfecta para moverte a pie por el centro y disfrutar de Madrid sin depender del coche. En ese sentido, es difícil pedir más. El apartamento es amplio, moderno y cómodo, bien equipado y con una sensación general de orden y limpieza muy correcta. Ideal tanto para una escapada corta como para varios días. La azotea con piscina suma puntos y es un gran plus, sobre todo en temporada de buen tiempo. El servicio es profesional y amable, correcto en todo momento, sin fallos reseñables. ¿Por qué no le doy 5 estrellas? Porque, aunque todo funciona y se está muy bien, no transmite una experiencia diferencial o especialmente memorable. Es un alojamiento muy sólido, práctico y bien ejecutado, pero más orientado a comodidad y ubicación que a lujo o emoción. Conclusión Un sitio al que volvería sin dudar, muy recomendable para quien quiera estar en el centro, dormir bien y tenerlo todo a mano. No deslumbra, pero cumple con nota.

Friendly and helpful staff! A great location a short walk to Plaza Mayor and Puenta del Sol - surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Our room was spacious with lots of windows looking out over Gran Via that open for fresh air plus two French doors to a nice private terrace. Comfortable bed and very clean. Great shower and nice modern kitchenette.

Great location to get around anywhere I. City, the room was spacious and good range of choices for breakfast. Only down point was that the wifi was very weak, couldn’t use it most of the time. Also the tv mirroring didnt work either.

The check- in process was easy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I booked 3 studios with terraces and the family loved them especially, when they overlook the busy plaza. Area was central and didn't require the use of a car. Cabs, buses and the metro train system was right within walking distance.

I gotta say that the communication with this hotel is outstanding. My wife and children stayed at this hotel and the staff was great providing instructions and went above an beyond to make sure everything went smooth. One of the great things about this hotel is that the metro station is right there in front of the hotel. On top of everything you can tell any taxi at the airport to take you to this hotel and their fee is extraordinary. Great hotel, convenient location, awesome staff and great Expedia perks for Silver and Gold members.

Glass windows are of poor quality, all noice from the main street can be heard from the room. Check in is set at 3.00pm, I arrived at 10.00 am, I did not get the room until 3.00pm sharp, not a minute before. If check out is at 11.00 am I dont understand how I took fours hours sharp to clean a room. You can tell they did not care to prioritize the room cleaning when having the guest waiting. Not nice. I own a hotel myself and know how this works. Curstomer service very poor.

Broken safe box. Requested to fix but never respond. We have to carry our passport and valuable belongings during four days on the streets in Madrid. We feel stress and unpleasant when walking on the streets as concerned pickpockets.

We decided to cancel original plans and stay a second occasion in the hotel in our 22 day trip around Spain. During our first stay all went flawless, during our second time and last day in Spain we arrived at 2:25 PM local time check in time was 3 PM, the long story short is that we didn’t receive our room until 4:25 PM after I got furious for the hotel not being open about not having out or any room ready for my family of four, we travelled for 7 hours… Hotel Manager came down to the lobby and apologized and thats how we got our room, we were sent a bottle pf Wine as an apology for the cause of inconvenience. Hotel facilities and rooms are great but be aware this, as it could eventually happen and could not get your room at 3 PM Checking Time if that’s the expectation after probably flying overnight to this Venue.

The staff were supper friendly and helpful. The room and accommodations were perfect for what we needed during our trip. The location was very central and directly on Gran Via. It made it easy to navigate to see the sites during our visit.

The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to many attractions and public transportation. It is located in a neighborhood to what I would compare to Times Square in New York City. Very lively! While the hotel does do a good job of keeping street noice to a minimum if you are a light sleeper there is some street noice late into the night. Despite the noice, the staff is very courteous and helpful , the apartment is clean and location is central so if you are visiting Madrid for the first time this hotel should be on your list. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit to Madrid,

The location was amazing; you're literally in the middle of Gran Via. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The only issue we had was with the elevators; one of the two elevators was constantly broken, so we had to take the stairs multiple times due to the long wait. Besides that issue, this location is perfect.

We stayed at the property early October for three nights. It was close to shopping and restaurants given that it was on Gran Vía. Not too far from Plaza Mayor and other important landmarks. Our suite was nice, beds were comfortable but had some typical wear and tear. There was a small leak from the kitchen sink but was not a big deal since we did not use the kitchen. We informed front desk and they assured us they would let administration know. Taxis were easy to get from outside the building. Overall, it was a good experience.

We had a wonderful time in this place. The staff were very friendly and they made you feel comfortable. We stayed in their family suite which is equipped with all the things you need in a kitchen. Plus, it has a laundry machine washer/ dryer under the kitchen countertop. It’s a huge place. They offered free breakfast which is the best part staying in this hotel. Not only they served an exceptional breakfast buffet but they have one the best views of the city while your eating. It’s picturesque. The food, coffee and breakfast juices are the best. It’s the most memorable part of our trip! I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I think this is a very convenient location for those visiting Madrid for the first time. Although there is no lobby, the 24/7 reception on the ground floor makes it very convenient. Breakfast was a great choice.

The Hotel is ok room is great but We were staying at the nine floor they have a rooftop in the 10 th floor with di all the nights from 18/19hs until 12:30 1 am all the days the noise is terrible , they hade two bachelorette party’s the screaming and the shouting was so loud you could hear it from the lobby. We ask for change of room they didn’t have anything . It really ruined the experience we didn’t get a nice night sleep until 2 am. Other thing to consider is the breakfast it say is included but is only the cold breakfast included if you want eggs or something else hot you have to pay for it!

Ottimo hotel in pieno centro. Unica pecca avendo fatto mezza pensione è stato il menù della cena che ogni sera era sempre uguale e c’era poca scelta, riducendoli a mangiare sempre le stesse cose.

Lo mejor es la ubicación sobre gran vía alfrente de callao, puedes ir caminando a todas partes, muy buen transporte. Camas muy cómodas, mejoraron la recepción, lo único es la entrada la cual también necesita remodelación, todo el personal muy amable, nos ayudaron en todo momento es la cuarta vez que nos hospedamos en este hotel, tiene buen desayuno, Lo recomiendo 100%

This property really was great for the price I paid. I had no issues, but there were some standout moments/items which I'll highlight. Location: Can I just say, for me, I love being in the heart of the city. Right on Gran Via, near Puerta del Sol, great location. The Staff: There was always someone with a friendly face greeting me when I walked into the entry. As for the check-in process and front desk attendant, it was smooth and they were AMAZING! They were friendly and I even got a free Cappuccino at one point. Communications and Service: They use WhatsApp to communicate with their guests. I received a welcome message which I typically disregard, but I did need two things. One was some detergent for the washing machine (which I later found out I already had) but they quickly supplied some. Furthermore, my daughter was in the process of moving to Spain on this trip and needed an emergency document printed. Using that same thread in WhatsApp, I attached the documents and they printed them at the desk. They were happy to do it and SAVED much anxiety for us. I can't thank them enough. This alone will prompt me to always look to them first when I'm traveling to Madrid. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer was also a major bonus. Dining and Drinks: The restaurant was amazing for breakfast along with the Rooftop Bar. Amazing, amazing views. Great to have a drink in the afternoon or evening. Overall, for the price, location and service, I'm staying at this property again.
