Room was great, and facilities lovely. Real shame that the pool is shaded in the afternoon as it meant it was too cold to swim but other than that a great stay!

Very convenient to St Vincent's Hospital, comfortable but small room and low set bed - no proper chair. Great pool, pool bar and restaurant. Hotel a bit pricey. Handy to be able to park a car there but make sure you book it in - very little room for parking.

Great property and location. We stayed in the larger Arte Suite, which was fantastic. Only downside is if you have a car, parking options nearby are very limited.

I have been wanting to stay at OH for quite a while. The hotel is nice & well located to Darlinghurst & Paddington. Room was huge (Terrace room - 2 bathrooms, lounge & bed) but the road noise was terrible. The lift was broken for our entire stay, being on the third floor & lugging cases up & down the stairs was not ideal. Given free cocktails at the pool but couldn’t use them as the pool bar closed quite early. Two air con systems but one was leaking & luckily not the one that had my phone under it charging! Overall I think it’s okay but the Oxford Street road noise will put me off staying again.

Great location near Paddington, Surry Hills and short walks to Double Bay etc. Great onsite bar - Busby's where the staff are friendly and accomodating. Front desk are lovely and helpful. Also a great pool and bar to enjoy cocktails and food on a balmy sunny evening. Well priced for the smaller room which was all I needed when conducting business during the day. The room I was in was a little musty but the building is old and it had been raining lots! No leaks in room luckily.

Oxford House is in a great location, with renovated rooms that are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Worth noting the car park is small and not for large vehicles! Our stay could have been improved by adding additional touches to the room, like an iron and ironing board, providing housekeeping services earlier in the day. The major flaw with our room was twofold. The bathroom was ridiculously small. It was a struggle to get into and out of the shower, dry yourself and generally move about without opening the bathroom door and even then it was tight! The second issue was the soundproofing, with the hall access door slamming just outside our room at all hours of the night resulting in a little sleep. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for these reasons, despite the location.

Convenient location and the room was modern and clean however the tv remote did not work and the room is very hot (has a split aircon in the room but it wasn’t very effective). The staff were friendly and helpful but the desk isn’t manned consistently. There is an unpleasant smell that permeates the floor and room from the kitchen which I think is coming from the grease trap in the hotel kitchen. It is made worse because the hotel corridor and room is very hot.

I liked that it was an old building with new renovations. I like that they allowed us to change rooms when the ac unit leaked water. However in the first room there was a cockroach in it. Showers in both rooms leaked all over the floor and the door to the shower would push the rug when getting out of the shower, but overall it was a nice place to stay. Pool was gorgeous and quiet.

The hotel was in a great location and stylish however the lack of storage in rooms was glaring. Furthermore, the building seemed to leak considerably during a brief rain show that meant buckets were placed across the building.

I had an excellent stay at Oxford House last weekend. The rooms, although small, are very thoughtfully laid out. I booked the smallest room, which was fine for 1 person or a couple, but opt for a larger room if a couple of friends are sharing. My room was located at the back of the hotel away from the main road and away from the pool. Although I could hear some people in the hallway before I went to bed and after I woke up, it was quite quiet. The pool was lovely, and I used this a couple of times during my stay. Easily getting a spot both times. The pool bar was busy both times as had great atmosphere. Especially on the Sunday during the bottomless lunch when there was a DJ. Overall, very happy with my stay here. I would recommend this hotel.

Booked a deluxe room with balcony facing Oxford Street at the end of our 2 month holiday. Stayed for 6 nights and found the room to be really small for no more than IMO a 2-night stay. No storage at all in the room or the bathroom, not even a shelf or drawer. One member of staff went out of his way to upgrade us for our last two nights so that we had a more relaxing time and room to pack for our flight home. Great location for the bars and restaurants on Oxford Street and very accessible bus links to Bondi and Circular Quay practically on the doorstep. Thanks to Dillan (hope this is the right person) for saving our stay.

Shoebox size room located above a bar. Definitely not worth 375 per night and would not stay again. Gave up after 3rd time of getting TV to work which was needed to drown out music from pool bar.

For our one night stay, thought with the location and standard of room great value. The room was modern, loved the tiles in bathroom and how the space was used wisely. The bathrooms near pool were really great too. The front desk staff did seem unorganised and hard to communicate with. We were told we would get a text message when room was ready, which never came. The room wasn’t ready by 2pm and we saw others check in after us, go straight to a room (gave benefit of doubt that they had different room type). On check out, I asked if parking would be charged to the card given at check in, and was confidently told yes, but not the case and charged to a different card. The parking is terrible and definitely shouldn’t be charged $50 to use. Very tight space (there is maybe 6 parks available total and you’re down amongst the property services workers (which I have no issue with - it must be horrible for them), with no signage on how to get to the front desk.

Security of bags being kept by staff prior to check in was concerning. I tried to check in at 1:45pm (15 minutes prior to the check in time) and the room was still not ready. When I returned to check in at 5:45pm, my bags were still left in the lobby and not in our room.

The property was well located to the allianz stadium, it took us about 7 mins to walk there which was awesome. Just down Oxford road is a plethora of restaurants. We also walked from the hotel to the Opera House stopping at the Anzac Memorial. The rooms all have queen beds, small bathroom with shower. There are the basic coffee, tee, Nespresso, small fridge. I loved that the room was not cluttered with furniture which was not needed. We didn’t take advantage of the pool restaurant/bar as I was travelling with a minor. I absolutely loved the hotel and the staff were amazing.

Great location near Paddington, Surry Hills and short walks to Double Bay etc. Great onsite bar - Busby's where the staff are friendly and accomodating. Front desk are lovely and helpful. Also a great pool and bar to enjoy cocktails and food on a balmy sunny evening. Well priced for the smaller room which was all I needed when conducting business during the day. The room I was in was a little musty but the building is old and it had been raining lots! No leaks in room luckily.

Oxford House is in a great location, with renovated rooms that are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Worth noting the car park is small and not for large vehicles! Our stay could have been improved by adding additional touches to the room, like an iron and ironing board, providing housekeeping services earlier in the day. The major flaw with our room was twofold. The bathroom was ridiculously small. It was a struggle to get into and out of the shower, dry yourself and generally move about without opening the bathroom door and even then it was tight! The second issue was the soundproofing, with the hall access door slamming just outside our room at all hours of the night resulting in a little sleep. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for these reasons, despite the location.

The staff were great! Very friendly and helpful. The downstairs bar/restaurant is so convenient and the food was delicious. I didn't use the pool area/bar (this seems more suitable for twenty-something year olds who are there to PARTY). A bit of a party house but it did NOT make my stay uncomfortable.The lift was not working (but staff did the heavy lifting). My room was dark and dingy and the bathroom, although clean, had septic smell. Bed comfortable and linen clean and crisp. (room needs more light). On a good bus route too.

Good location and nice aesthetic. Staff were helpful and Busbys had a really good lunch. Room was a little rough around the edges with stains on the carpet, TV not working and bad water pressure in the shower.

The property has been pleasantly renovated since the previous management. Very clean with excellent upkeep. Incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming reception staff. Close to bus stops. Convenient location for UNSW Paddington campus, cafes and bookshops. Awesome Mexican restaurant, El Primo Sanchez on-site.

Oxford house was the perfect place for a mini city break with my bestie. Staff were super friendly, and the hotel has a great vibe and beautiful interior. Food and drinks were amazing!

Very convenient to St Vincent's Hospital, comfortable but small room and low set bed - no proper chair. Great pool, pool bar and restaurant. Hotel a bit pricey. Handy to be able to park a car there but make sure you book it in - very little room for parking.

Cute little hotel really nicely done. The best thing about the hotel is the staff so friendly and helpful and the delicious food in the restaurant. Caitlyn was a gem at breakfast! I only gave 4 stars because as a business traveller there is no desk in the room and the bathroom was super tiny. Other than that it was great.
