Azalea Gardens and the two sister properties next door have the most amazing landscaping that makes sitting under the pergola (or on the porch when we stayed at cabin next door last year) an incrediby enjoyable experience. Relax, listen to the birds, watch the chipmunk, enjoy yourself! We'll be back again!

There are very few amenities. The cleaning staff did a pretty good job but the facility is a bit run down. Not enough hot water I needed to take a cold shower this morning. The flowers are beautiful and the location is good.

Great location. Nice grounds. The only complaint is that the carpet in the room is old and creates an old, musty" smell. A hotel of this vintage can be greatly improved without the carpet of the same vintage.

Liked the location. Liked the price. The room was comfortable, although the carpet was worn. Disliked the sink and tub did not drain well. Told staff upon checkout. Overall a nice girls trip.

Rooms furnishings were way past wore out. Bathroom tile was in bad shape. Toilet leaked but was fixed right away. Room carpet was gross as well as chair fabrics. Great location and beautiful outside landscape must be the reason for a high rating.

Very nice older Inn typical of the inns in Blowing Rock. Beautiful grounds and rooms are very clean. It has been bought out by a company so prices have increased. I hope they don’t change anything that causes it to loose any of its charm!

The location was nice. We enjoyed the Gathering Room which was a common area outdoor space. The staff was friendly and helpful. The A/C was noisy and did not cool very well. The bathroom sink and tub drains were really slow and backed up easily.

The Azalea Garden Inn is a beautiful place to stay and is extremely convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and the many places to sit, relax and enjoy the grounds. Our only disappointment was how we could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of us. Other than that, we loved the Inn.

Yes, its a motel from the 80's but its spotless, no musty smell like you often find, comfortable bed and a great value and location.

A comfortable, homey, convenient spot for a weekend mountain getaway. Pleasant staff, lovely gardens. #15 is a spacious and private upstairs room, but we could hear conversations in the next room through a connecting door.

Beautiful grounds in front of the inn. It's within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking is free. The room itself had lots of space and very comfortable beds. The walls are very thin so we could hear people talking in the room next door all night. Our room was next to the hotel staff room, so during the day I could hear washers and dryers running. The water spicket was also outside our room so we kept hearing someone fill up the water canister to water plants which was very noisy.

It's a beautiful property; it's old school motor lodge style with drive up/park and your door is right there to the outside. This is not a problem but just more FYI if you are booking. Room is cozy and not large but very comfy, a touch dated but again that's more FYI if you are needing that kind of room. 10/10 would recommend. The staff was so nice, very informative and helpful.

It would be nice after a long days work to come here and check in. Well, not here. There is a sign that says be back in 45 minutes and to go two blocks down to actually get a key to this place. Wow

Run down, dirty and smelly carpet, room service consisted of only making the bed and replacing the towels. There was no coffee for the Kuerig and the “communal” coffee pot on the patio was empty! Would not stay there again.

We enjoyed a very restful visit. Friendly staff, our room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers. This is definitely our go to place when we visit beautiful Blowing Rock.
