The property is ok a bit old. What was disappointing is that the build at the front makes the hotel look and feel like a building site. Management told me this through the app but as I don’t read messages through the app didn’t realise until arrived. When I mentioned to them they apologised without any suggestion of recompense/ At $800 a night I would definitely not stay there until foreshore is complete and even then it is overpriced.

Our room had no air conditioning so was offered a villa (apparently more expensive) but had to move halfway through the stay. We booked a year ago with our friends and ended up on the other side of the resort. Seemed like we spent a lot of time waiting for rooms. The villa was outdated. The bed was comfortable but definitely needs a renovation. Overall the resort is very expensive with nothing much included. Breakfast was $47 per head and didn’t include coffee. Staff were friendly but would not stay here again. I have added a couple of photos of the villa. Little pool was nice but the villa is very old.

Two problems with the resort. Construction is interrupting the views of Cable Beach. Second, we couldn’t get into any restaurant in the resort during our stay. All booked out. Apart from that the room was comfortable and the pool was nice the relax around.

Very expensive - the rooms are tired. Please put separate switches into the bathroom for fan and lights! Very annoying when your partner gets up in the night and the fan wakes you up! Breakfast was good but expensive. Staff were very good.

Had a wonderful stay at Cable beach club resort. Staff are so welcoming and always available to assist. A big shout out to M and A at the front desk, assisting with an extension to my stay. Also the staff at both pools, food service there was excellent and they were always available, walking around , easy to place an order. Entertainment at the adult pool, one man band was excellent. Certainly haven’t experienced live entertainment at a hotel pool before, was great. The works at the front did not impact my stay in any way, apart from a different entry point to Cable beach, down by the life saving club. Would highly recommend a stay at the resort.
