Don’t go by the picture online. Same building but nowcompletely run down. Mold in the bathroom, even the toilet paper holder was busted. Door lock broken, ceiling has sections missing in halls and sagging in the room. The only good I will say is no bed bugs which is not a compliment.

OMG This is a third world experience. No elevator so getting up 20 stairs is a challenge. And it is dirty beyond description. Why this hotel has not been condemned is beyond me.

All of the shops you would need were nearby. However, the experience was horrifying. This property would be a great candidate for a TV show, the ugliest/dirtiest Inn in America. As you approach the Inn you immediately get concerned. The lighting is poor. The entrance to the property is not clearly marked and you may enter on the back side of the building, scary. The infrastructure is dark and dreary. It has peeling paint on the outside walls and is in desperate need of new doors and windows. As you enter the lobby the carpet is dirty and it smells old and mildewy. My room was on the second floor but there is no elevator. Only stairs to access the upper floor. It was distressing for me with an arthritic knee. The room was not clean, dirty furniture that needs updating, dirty refrigerator, dirty bathroom with missing tile on walls, water-stained ceiling and walls with peeling plaster and holes. This place is in desperate need of a renovation. The linen appeared to be washed but is stained. Roaches were present and spiders. All rooms in the area were booked due to a big college game that Saturday leaving no opportunity for alternative housing. After returning home and digging further I learned that The Fairbridge Inn Express Buffalo Airport Williamsville is a two-star Inn. I would not give it any stars. Easy check in. Had a good stay. For the price, you can't really get overly bent out of shape over some stuff. But some issues were there like no hot water from the sink (but fine in the shower), stains/discoloration of tiles and no Kleenex in the room. But the biggest issue is the odour. It smells like overkill of deodorizer mixed with staleness. I don't know if just got used to it or it aired out once I turned on the AC, but it can be overwhelming at first. It's close to restaurants, shopping and the airport. I'd stay again.

There were holes in the ceiling, water dripping down the walls, buckets in the hallway. The room and bathroom were dirty. The room smelled. There was also an additional deposit required not disclosed at checkin.

Front staff was friendly. Parking was a bit tight. Be prepared no elevator. Weird smell in halls. Room very small. Bathroom had mold spots, peeling toilet, thick dust on vent and shower curtain rod was loose and barely hanging on. Beds were decent and hotel was quiet. It served the purpose of a place to sleep.

This property requires major work. There are buckets in the hallway for leaks. No elevator. Rooms have an awful smell. Staff tried to be helpful.

We arrived late at night after our flight, and every other hotel was booked due to a college football game, otherwise we would have left immediately. The mattress had blood stains, the comforter and sheets were filthy, and the bathroom was so dirty we couldn’t shower. The carpet reeked of mildew and dust was everywhere. To top it off, a picture that should have been hung was just leaned against the wall by the bed. We asked twice for clean bedding, but the “replacements” were also stained. We were so disgusted we slept in our clothes with socks on, and I only used my own washcloths because theirs were unusable. When I politely asked for a refund the next morning, the man at the front desk became rude, saying: “This is a 2 star hotel, what do you expect!” and “Hell, I don’t know what you people expect!” He even tried to provoke my husband into an argument. Other family members staying here had the same issues, and even another guest confirmed her room was just as bad. We got a refund for the second night, but the first should have been refunded too — the room was unlivable from the start. I have photos and videos proving everything. This hotel is unsafe, filthy, and unprofessional. Avoid!!!

Worst hotel ever. Black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Bathroom constantly smelled like cigarette smoke that came from the adjacent room. Cigarette burns and holes in blankets. We had to buy our own towels from Walmart because the towels provided were horrible - like rough cleaning towels. Horrible stay.

This was hands down the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. For quick one night stays that are mostly just for sleep, I tend to go with more affordable places and don't expect a lot of the most modern or updated places which is fine but I've ever ever stayed in one so so dirty. Mirrors had grime and splatters, walls and pictures literally had "stuff" in them, lamp shades, night stands etc had stains and dirt all over. Our bathroom had long and short black hairs all over toilet,sink, tub,and floor. Ceilings had old stains and cracked plaster, tiles were missing from bathroom walls. Hotel had a terrible smell through out. The hotel itself didn't look like one from outside and literally looked like a big store front of some kin. We passed by it. No signage or front lighting. It was late and we were in hurry to be somewhere but stopped back for a bit after and I simply asked if they had some cleaning stuff like wipes etc FOR ME TO CLEAN THE ROOM and was told no. When I said our room is literally filthy I got the most uninterested shrugged shoulder oh well attitude. When I say the place was not just rundown, which I could handle, it was absolutely disgusting. Old food crumbs on carpet, stains. Everywhere was booked. We had to stay. Just slept on top of beds with clothes and shoes on and didn't shower. Got up and got out. Tub filthy dirt stains white towels stained and yellowing. Disgusting. Old and outdated is one thing, filthy is inexcusable.

The lobby and main carpets were filthy. In the room there was a fallen picture placed on its side with cracks in the wall. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and comforter. There were crumbs along side the bed and in back. The toilet overflowed and staff told us they would have to wait to take care of it in the morning, leaving us without a workable toilet or switching rooms. The shower was filthy and had a slow drain, bad plumbing. The remote control was broken.

We walked in and the place had a weird smell. Got to the room opened the door and the room smelt so badly of must and mold. The floor was dirty, the bathroom was dirty and there was a visitor in the bathroom ( roach ) . I still haven't received my deposit back yet either. They said it would take 3 to 5 business days and it's been more than that. Extremely unprofessional!

worst stay ever had; dirty rooms with torn bedsheets and bed bugs

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and it was absolutely horrible. I’m writing this review to warn other travelers about what they might encounter. Cleanliness Issues: The hotel was disgustingly dirty. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I could tell maintenance and cleaning were not priorities here. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, there were stains on the walls, and the overall appearance was just gross. Terrible Smell: The worst part was the awful smell throughout the entire building. It was a musty, stale odor mixed with something I couldn’t identify - possibly mold or just general uncleanliness. The smell was so bad it made me feel nauseous, and it followed me from the lobby to the hallways to my room. I had to keep the windows open the entire time just to breathe properly. Rude Staff: To make matters worse, the person at the front desk was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They showed no interest in helping guests and acted like we were bothering them by simply checking in. When I mentioned my concerns about the room condition, they were dismissive and offered no solutions or apologies. Overall Experience: This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. For the money I paid, I expected basic cleanliness and decent customer service - neither of which I received. I ended up leaving early because I couldn’t stand staying there any longer. Save your money and book somewhere else. Anywhere else.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I booked a stay at Fairbridge Inn Express near Buffalo Airport thinking it would be fine for a quick stop — big mistake. The hallways reeked of trash, and to make things worse, there were trash bags full of garbage just sitting in front of the rooms. It was filthy and completely unacceptable. When I got into the room, I noticed that the air conditioner looked like it had been burned or caught fire before. It was damaged, dirty, and looked dangerous. At that point, we didn’t even feel safe staying there. We lasted maybe 30 minutes before deciding to leave and book another hotel nearby — which, thankfully, was clean, safe, and professionally maintained. This place is a health and safety hazard. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid it at all costs. Pay a little more and stay somewhere where you can actually breathe, sleep, and feel safe.

Roaches

Room was not clean. Hair all over the bathroom, like they just threw new toiletry products in the corner and left the rest. Dust everywhere, AC was dirty. Most lamps/TV was unplugged, room very dated and falling apart. I did not read the reviews before booking, should have! We did not encounter bugs, thankfully. But to be safe cleaned everything we had in the room when we got home.

I liked the location, accessibility, and affordability. The bathroom walls were dirty. There was barely any hot water. The duvet, linens, and towels were stained and dirty. There was visible body fluids on the sheets. The mattress was covered in cigarette burns. The bathtub had hair from the previous guest. I had to purchase cleaning supplies and bed sheets.

Location was good! Bed was very uncomfortable, a/c unit was not clean had mold on it.

While it is budget friendly this property is in need of upgrades and maintenance. The room had a very stale odor almost like old smoke. The popcorn ceiling had a sagging area and spots possibly indicative of water damage. The toilet had black hair on the side and the lock was broken on the door. The chair contained stains and the dressers had spots that appeared to potentially be mold. There was an area near the bed that appeared to have been patched but not repainted. There was a hole where the toilet paper roll had not been fixed. The staff member that checked me in however seemed very kind and warm. Would love to see this facility get a makeover and feel safer and clean!

The staff was nice. Our king size bed only had 3 pillows the tv didn't work half the time and it was hot in our room and u couldn't change the temperature it was set at 70. The bed was comfy and shower unsafe it was very slippery and water pressure was bad. I would never stay there again.

No coffee on property (or coffee maker); bugs present (killed three gnats during one night stay); woken at 2am by arguing outside our ground floor window; TV changer did not operate TV, had to call for service to receive instructions on direct TV box use to change channels etc. Vending machine charged $2.45 for a bottle of water. No hair dryer in room; Worst were the airplanes directly above us( approximately 200 ft above the hotel) throughout the night. Everything was peeled or peeling including wallpaper, doors, and furniture (in room and hallways). I do not recommend this terrible property even with the $96.70/ nt rate we received.

Room was dilapidated and had not been updated since the 80s probably. Two floors with no elevators. The rooms all smelled horrible because we tried several. The room we settled on for the few hours we needed it still didn’t smell great. The door lock was hanging on the wall. We would never stay here again. I suggest others avoid it.

The door was almost impossible to open because it was jammed. Even the staff had difficulty opening it from the inside. In the next room we were given, the security lock was broken. There was a lot of dust in the bathroom vents and the air conditioning unit. The air conditioning was loud. There were stains on the bedding and sheets. The water pressure was low. The hotel smelled terrible everywhere. The furnishings were old and outdated. Wallpaper was falling off the walls. Not even recommended for one night.

I could not get the TV to work right, water pressure was low. The place needed some repair.

The main door stuck, the shower rod was broken, and the phone jack behind the bed was missing a cover plate. Additionally, the main outlet had a power strip connected to it and had about 6 things plugged into it. The shower head was low on the wall, and the bathroom was small. The beds were hard and the pillows were small and quite flat. The chair in the room was broken. There was nothing in the lobby, no furniture to sit and wait for the clerk who was not there when we arrived. There were not enough towels in the room and we asked for some at the desk. They arrived after we were in bed. The toilet was ok but the flush handle spun all the way around when flushing it. On the plus side, it was affordable, and the beds appeared clean.

Booked this very reasonably-priced hotel for a quick overnight getaway across the border. The property is in rough shape. Front desk staff was pleasant and as helpful as they could be despite being on the receiving end of a lot of complaints. The room was in poor condition with the standout defect being a bathroom door that did not close. A broken luggage stand in the closet was a surprise too. See attached photos for a few examples of issues in the room. Managed a decent nights sleep despite the issues.

My first time there no issues room was clean bed was good no bugs nice quick getaway paid room deposit when I got there and deposit was refunded back on my card like a hour after I checked out and got to work definitely will be going back again for that price

My stay at this hotel was horrible, they were unprofessional, the lady at the front desk, her name was Robin ,she was really rude and started using profanity towards me which then i did back to defend myself. The place was not in good condition like shown in the photos we took, we also had a nasty odor in our hallway of the hotel. I feel that I need a refund because i was charged twice and when i asked about it i started to get yelled at. Also me n my child n her dad did not stay long at the hotel.

Tv not working, phone not workiing, wntire hotel smelled. No coffee! Or coffee machine, no restrooms. Ill be willing to pay morenext time. Staff was excellent thou and properly dressed!

You get what you pay for, we checked in late and ended up in a smoking room, I don’t smoke (at all) that room smelled like there was 100 years worth of smoking. The front desk person suggested we check the room before he finalized check in which I appreciated but it was late there were other rooms, I’m from out of state what was I going to do get on the internet and search for a new place. Bathroom could definitely used repairs. Pictures were dated and misleading. Location was good.

I stayed at fairbridge for onevnight as I needed a place to stay for the night since I arrived at buffalo late and was visiting canada in the morning and I am rating it based on that. So to clarify, my five star overall rating is because to me this have provided what I needed perfectly. A nice comfy bed, a clean bathroom and a hospitable people interaction with a smile. So at first the location was close to the airport so going there after a long trip from california was easy. I was met at the reception by a nice lady who was very helpful and supportive. I went to the room which was warm and cozy. Of course it is not a fancy room it is pretty basic but the bed was clean with fresh sheets and a nice blanket. The bathroom was also clean enough to be comfortable. I woke up early and discovered that I have forgot to get gloves. So close to the hotel there was a a few nice places including TJ MAXXX and Ross. There seemed to be other shops and restauranrs around it but I didn't look around I just got what I needed and left. Finally, check out was extremely fast and easy and the other receptionist was also helpful and the location was close to the peace bridge through which I went to Canada. In Conclusion, the hotel itself is a two star hotel that provided me with a five star experience and for that I am grateful

Hotel was clean and in a nice neighborhood near the Buffalo airport, but very dated and needed basic maintenance. Rusty tub, peeling wallpaper in the halls, missing tv remote and stained white towels. Acceptable cheap option for one night, if you are traveling on right away.

It was close to Niagara State Park

Fairbridge is located in in nice part of town on a main road. It is an inexpensive no frills hotel. It lacks the amenities newer hotels have. Such as: a pool, exercise room, restaurant and free breakfast. It has basic accomodations. My room was small clean and functional. The carpet and furniture were old. But the shower was hot and the toilet flushed. The room did have a small flat screen TV and a minifridge and both worked fine. If you want a basic inexpensive room this is your place. The people at the front desk were nice.

The hotel offered a place to sleep in Buffalo and that is about it. The floor in our room was damp, and our socks would get all wet. The manager said it was because they had steam cleaned it. It smelled damp all night. The AC worked okay. The other negative for me was there was no coffee in the room or the lobby, I had to drive 5 minutes to Starbucks. But it offered a place to sleep which is what I needed.

Only way to get water at the hotel was by purchasing through a vending machine.

Very basic hotel room. Everything you need with no bells or whistles. Hotel did not offer breakfast, but i didn't double check that before booking the room.

Dingy, no food nearby, not the best

When we arrived it smelled like moth balls which we over looked . When we got to our room on the second floor .. the hall smelled like wet dog . Our room was so hot it took 3 hours to cool off enough to sleep and every one of us was itchy all night as if something was biting us. We woke up with several bite marks on us and no idea what bit us. Be careful staying here. Thankfully we didnt stay long . Also the drink machines was really expensive. I got 5 waters and it cost me 15 dollars. Good luck if you stay here!!
