We had a nice stay at the Paseo. It was festively decorated for the holiday season. Pool, fire pit and outdoor game area nice touch. Restaurant was only thing lacking- service was extremely slow all around, to order, receive food, and pay tab. Will skip in future as there are many other great restaurants to choose from nearby.

The service at the pool was excellent! Neil was awesome! The games area was a nice touch and provided some entertainment in our down time! The shops on El Paseo are within walking distance. The only negative comments I would have are there needs to be a kettle in the room, the coffee maker doesn’t make good tea. Also the corkscrew did not work, need a better quality one to open wine. The resort fee per day is extremely high for what you get. This would prevent us from going back.

This is an amazing hidden gem ! The pool staff couldn’t be more accommodating - you receive top notch customer service. Ice water refilled , drink service , fresh towels , umbrellas moved and super friendly. The front desk was quick efficient and answered all of my questions. The room was super clean, quiet and had everything we needed . We will be back 100%

The location is perfect! Once you check in, you do not need your car. The Paso Shopping center is across the street as well as many good restaurants. My only criticism of the Hotel Paseo is the pool area--it's too small. We went in the pool area and there was not one lounge chair available and this was on a Wednesday afternoon! I can only image how busy it gets during the weekend.

The staff were all very nice. Small pool and boutique feel. This is good if you’re coming to shop and not spend most of the time at the pool. If you’re all about pool time pass on this one. Room, bed, hotel, bar, employees, everything was perfect.

The staff was the greatest assist to this property. They all were so helpful they made the stay . However had to move rooms several times , one was due to the fridge not being clean and the carpets had major stains as though no one cleaned and carpets not cleaned period or just didn’t care . . Then next to elevator with a baby and had to move due to major noise . This is a great hotel , great location the staff make the hotel period , but cleanliness could be improved considerably and the restaurant food .

Hotel Paseo was beautiful! Everything was extremely clean & beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly & helpful . The room was immaculate & had a lovely view of the courtyard where chairs & games were set up. I also loved how big the bathroom was.

This hotel is all about Location! If you want to be close to the shopping and restaurants of El Paseo, then, this is your place! Nothing spectacular about the rooms, but they are nice, clean and comfortable. The Larkspur Grill is nice to have on site and there is a little cafe that makes excellent Lattes! I did notice that the rooms below me had extended balconies with lounge chairs that I didn't see when making my reservation. They said that only 2 of the rooms had that and they moved me to that room without any additional charge, so that was nice!

The property is beautiful. They checked us in early which was great. The room however was interesting. The bathroom fan would not turn off. When we inquired they told us all the fans stayed on but engineering would come and disable it. The room floor also vibrated on and off like the spin cycle on a washer. Then the room next to ours had a dog that would not stop barking. The hotel would not move us until we physically went down to the front desk to speak to the manager. We had to stand there till they moved us. We went down to the restaurant at 6 to order a quick pasta to go only to be told the restaurant was overwhelmed and no take out orders. The dining room was only 5% occupied and that was confusing. They told me to go to the cafe in the lobby. They were out of the food that we wanted. Which was pizza or a grilled cheese. Again, the hotel is gorgeous, beds comfy, but…. I would not stay again.

Beautiful property displayed on Hotels.com does not disappoint in person. The place is beautiful inisde and out. Very clean and modern. Great outdoor pool and activity area. Decent gym - spacious and could fit more equipment. Great location within walking distance to upscale shopping and restaurants. Great onsite restaurant called the Larkspur Grill. Live music as well. Only disappointment was that the upgraded room I paid for faced a wall (see below). With such beautiful mountains in the distance, I would not have paid the upgrade to stare at a wall. I complained at the front desk and this was fixed but the reply was "that was the room you paid for". I paid a lot of money - more than $400 per night when you include the resort fee. I sense that when you book through a 3rd party like Expedia, etc, you are given the least desirable rooms.

We loved our stay at Hotel Paseo. I have to say the most luxurious and comfortable bed for a hotel. My daughter and I were in heaven and had the best sleep. Loved the boutique hotel which was intimate and chic. The staff was awesome and super friendly. The lobby was fun and inviting. The shopping is across the street so the location couldn’t be better!! Would definitely stay again wish we had more time to explore the restaurants but it eas a quick 36 hrs. Thanks Hotel Paseo!

Room: Exactly as described and pictured. Bed are comfy and come with tons of pillows! Internet was solid, Tvs preloaded with Max for free, netflix and you tube. Large restroom, truly well appointed. Pool: FABULOUS! Neil is THE BEST. Love his command of the menu, watching over my cup makong sure my wine was always full and on a cold bed of ice! There are 3 cabanas perfectly outfitted toms of chairs and esthetically pleasing. Loved the direct service to our seats ..really made our pool time enjoyable. Cafe: great selection of items for every appetite. The fries are seasoned perfecly and crispy outside with soft middle. We worked our way through handhelds and breakfast items during the stay and topped off each day with the most DELICIOUS cookies in town!! LARKSPUR: went down for dinner on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to find a band playing. We were not aware of the $12 enetertainment fee until we reveived the bill..not like I truly mind as they were great, but would have been good to have the knowledge in advance. We dined on the carbonara with shrump (fun twist) and short rib pasta.. 2 favorites per our waitress Katelyn and they didnt dissappont. Large portions!! 5 stars to everything, except a major hiccup at check in. I did book through a 3rd party as I had points and there were great incentives to do so. Unfortunately I was charged AGAIN for our stay and wasnt able to rectify being overchrged until check out to "make ot easier on everyone". I did sumbit a

We had a horrifying experience with the manager, Devin McGowen, at Paseo who made a bad situation much worse than it should have been. The problem started as soon as we walked into the room #247 and found the lock not being functional. Then maintenance crew was sent to fix it, and they arrived a long time later. They said it would take a while for it to get fixed and took a piece out of the lock and went away. We asked to be moved to a new room. They said they will send someone with the new room keys, but after a long while, no one showed up. Then things started going really wrong when we decided to go down to the front desk to get the new keys since we found out we could not get out of our room. We were locked in and not able to unlock the door from the inside. I called the front desk again telling them we can’t get out and that it is a safety issues in case of fire or earthquakes since both are very common in that region. No one showed up for a long while. When the manager finally spoke to us on the phone, it was with a very bad tone of voice saying “well, it happens, what do you want me to do about it? Do you want me to check you out?”. When we were finally rescued and moved to a new room just to find the toilet not working.

Neil and the team at the pool/cafe bar are the best. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Devyn & the front desk team are courteous and knowledgeable about the area. LOVED our shuttle driver." My only issue stems from a 3rd party booking issue but truly Hotel Pase is AWESOME!

Three night stay. Sheets not changed at all! Shuttle service very unreliable. Told to call for pick up anytime. Called at 11:30pm on way back from a show. Told shuttle finished for the night, so had to get an Uber back. Will not return and would not recommend.

Nice small boutique hotel . No bell staff to help with luggage. Great location and shuttle service to anywhere within 3 km of hotel. Nice clean rooms. Worst dinner at the only restaurant Larkspur. Small pool.

This place is a gem! Mid-century building decorated with an impeccable taste. Just the Lobby it’s a work of art with the coolest red car in the middle of it. Rooms are very nice super clean and nicely decorated. The pool area is very cool and confortable. The restaurant is great, and the staff super friendly. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Palm Desert.

We loved our stay. Really friendly helpful staff, and very nice facility. I do have a suggestion, more vegetarian options in the restaurant and cafe. The cafe veg egg sandwich was worse than a fast food place. The veggie options in the restaurant they did have were fantastic! One other thing, the addition fees come out to $100. So whatever the room charge is, add $100.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Paseo. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. And we had a really delicious brunch at Larkspur restaurant with beautiful cocktails! The hotel is in a great neighborhood for walking around and shopping, highly recommend this hotel.
