I’m grateful for the staff who were always kind and helpful, even though my English is not perfect. In India, water safety can be a concern, but the bottled water provided every day made my stay feel very safe and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nutritious and had a great variety of dishes, which was especially helpful since there are not many casual restaurants around the hotel. Since it’s difficult to run or exercise outside, the hotel’s fitness center was a valuable facility for me and I used it a lot during my stay.

During our stay we enjoyed the services provided by the hotel. All the staff were very humble,welcoming and polite. We also went to the spa and we enjoyed the services over there. Rini and Levis from spa gave us an excellent treatment of massage therapy. We would highly recommend this hotel and spa for our family and friends. Thank you.

The Stay was an average, Since I was with my family, We were sleeping at 31st night, but in the Hotel Too much of sound which created a sleep less night and Head ache [I was in 8th Floor]. the Receptionist during our check out [guy who stand behind our representative] was not kind to the customer and spoiled overall stay. He should learn some manners. So many restrictions in swimming pool and kids was not able to use floating tubes.

I made a wrong decision to stay here because this property has a construction work going on right now between 10AM - 6PM everyday top of your room you will hear the hammer and drilling sounds those hours , I complained about this issue to lobby they said we have contract construction works going on right now it’s going to like this we can’t do anything I was shocked this is unresponsive answer , then I asked him I was travels past 18 hours and timing changes jet lock if I want to take rest do I have to wait til 6 PM that guy said yes something like that we can’t do anything , pool area is not for guests some swimming classes going on there now no privacy , this place is not worth it think twice before book

Great hotel. Many nice features like limited access to rooms only for guests. Travel desk was super efficient and ensured smooth transition for all guests while preserving security. Two major problems remain - The service levels and time to get to it both when we had issues and also when we wanted our bags picked up for check out. Time taken is very long and limited staff at key times. - When there is a wedding on the property, there is a lot of pressure on the restaurants and service levels are subjected to delays. This is a double edge issue and will hurt service levels. We got lucky twice and once not. - There is a disco bar on the lobby which is not keeping with the type of crowd you want to invite to the hotel. This bar is not limited to hotel guests which can become an issue. We were relaxed and planned to ensure the above did not affect us. Another time, we may not be as relaxed and this is a potential issue we will consider when booking this place for our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay there. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were very courteous and helpful specially towards our kid. The location was perfect for us, close to the ofc and consulate. We also loved the breakfast spread — plenty of variety and everything was delicious! The atmosphere was clean and quiet.

The things I liked about the property were: The staff were friendly, the breakfast selections were great, the rooms were adequate size. The things I did not like were: The carpet in the hallway on my floor (3rd) was smelly, the rooms were not cleaned on a timely basis, and I had to ask for amenities.

Avoid this hotel. Paying nearly 11k Rs for a night stay here is a waste of money. The room itself was very dirty. Hairs in the floor, sofa had a big stain not sure it is water or anything else. (Disgusting to even keep things there). How can someone not notice it and how did it pass quality control. Bathroom had a foul smell because it was not cleaned properly. Also the trays or boxes had visible water marks plus lots of dust indicating it was never wiped. Same goes with coffee maker and tumblers provided. Clearly you can see it was never cleaned recently. I didn't even touch it. Staff service was average. Liked Spice haat and the Chinese restaurant. Food was good. The reception people are very rude and don't even want to accommodate. The lady who was attending to us on 10 Oct 2023 night (11 Oct early morning) checkin was very inflexible. Even though I arrived only on a day later than the booking date due to flight schedule they couldn't even show courtesy to accommodate a delayed checkout for 2 hrs. Receptionist was quite rude with any kind of requests. I would not rate this even as a 3 star hotel. I am very dissatisfied and questioning the service provided by Hyatt brand in India. I did speak to the manager and aired my concerns. He was patient but my thought was why do I need to hear apologies and understanding when the service provided was not even 3 star. I strongly not recommend this hotel.

My room was filled with fruit flies and even though I complained about it, the hotel didn’t do anything about it. The room door was also problematic. I had a lot of trouble just unlocking and locking the door. The lock switch and the lock weren’t attached properly and was problematic.

The rooms are very dated and not cleaned properly. The shower walls and floors were covered in mould. The service was not good, the air conditioning would not work and it took over 24 hours and numerous requests before anyone actually looked at it and moved rooms.

Check out was bad as we intended to pay upfront before the morning of check out. Also our pre booked breakfast was given to another guest. I would not recommend this as a 5star hotel as they say.

The service was very sub par. 1. Check in experience - chaotic at best - got only one room key for each room although both were on double occupancy. Keep in mind that you need a key card to use the elevators at all times. 2. When I requested an additional key, I got one but the first key was auto disabled. 3. By the time I Figured that out, my wife had gone out and I got a new set of keys but both the old ones were disabled leaving my wife stuck outside without a working card. 4. My daughters were refused room service - simply because they forgot to get my card details at checkin. They were hungry for hours while we were out. 5. An experience manager gave me her number asking to reach out if I had any issues during my stay but she never picked up my phone call - ever. 6. I was refused a physical copy if my receipt citing technical challenges. Overall, good property , well connected to Chennai but one of the worst service experiences that I have had.

Attitude of staff on front desk not professional - been told that i should pay each time i use the restaurant using my credit card rather than charging to my room and then paying a complete bill upon checking out.- I have never in all my stays in hotels around the world in over 30 years of travel experienced this, and coming from a Hyatt regency my estimation of this hotel brand has fallen down as the lowest estimation of poor customer service. Your front desk staff should ask for my credit card and then i can sign resturaunt bills to my room . Also on my last stay for breakfast staff just chatter amongst themselves . I will never stop at a Hyatt regency hotel again thanks

We enjoyed our stay there. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were very courteous and helpful specially towards our kid. The location was perfect for us, close to the ofc and consulate. We also loved the breakfast spread — plenty of variety and everything was delicious! The atmosphere was clean and quiet.

Had a great stay I was totally satisfied with all the things but could not get a proper dinner in the evening when I asked for room service I was told only few things gs are available and I had to select in what ever was available.. and this is at around 8:30pm so wanted to see if they can improve anything on this apart from that it's a best place to stay

I’m grateful for the staff who were always kind and helpful, even though my English is not perfect. In India, water safety can be a concern, but the bottled water provided every day made my stay feel very safe and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nutritious and had a great variety of dishes, which was especially helpful since there are not many casual restaurants around the hotel. Since it’s difficult to run or exercise outside, the hotel’s fitness center was a valuable facility for me and I used it a lot during my stay.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hyatt Chennai this past weekend. Having stayed at multiple Hyatt Regency hotels in US, I must say this one stands out in the top echelon of Hyatt hotels worldwide. Starting from checking in where ever smiling receptionist Mi@@ was amazing ,followed by the dining where each of the wide variety of food was delectable thanks to sou Chef V et al, and the equally laudable hospitality of folks in the restaurant area like Bh@@@@@, Kar@@@@, An@@@ ; and not to forget about the spectacular concierge service spearheaded by Kumar and co, along with the seamless checking out process by Ri@@@. Did NOT like the following: 1. illogical placement of light switches in the room. 2. there were not many vegetarian options and options for small portion eaters in hotel restaurant 3. the bathroom door design was illogical - either covered the shower or the toilet. they could not be used in parallel 4. Found a cockroach in the bath tub the very first day did like the following: 1. the room was cleaned everyday 2. management remembered my birthday :) 3. Rooms were really spacious and nice pool view. Kids loved it. There are few practical issues that were rectified by the room service. E.g. no shower gel, shampoo, etc in the bath tub. They were only present in the shower area. Also, only soap was iprovided n the wash basin. Towels were almost flat. They should replace the entire towel sets. Staff were all very helpful. Everyone one of them. Breakfast buffet was decent. Staff in the breakfast buffet appeared to be under pressure from supervisors and that resulted in them getting stressed & forgetting orders like nice, dosa, etc. Coffee is not nice to my liking. Cappuccino was terrible. Also, no Coffee shop after 10 or 11 pm.In fact, it gets eerily quiet in the lobby area after 10 pn. Would prefer lively environment. A bit disappointed with this.
