I've had a very good experience. The hotel is all you need to feel comfortable: quiet, clean, modern, and with everything necessary. The hotel does not offer a parking terrain, so if you go by car, be prepared to add up some 35 euros a night in any of the nearest parkings.

Hôtel neuf avec 26 chambres, pas de réception et self Check in et out. Possibilité de breakfast à l’hôtel Ramada d’à côté pour 18,5€ et également possibilité de parking dans le même hôtel pour 27,5€ la journée. Chambre petite mais très propre et fonctionnel. Pas de chaîne en français sur la TV.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Über die Straße durch das Einkaufszentrum und schon ist man am Strand, direkt am Pier. Parkhäuser oder Plätze sind auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben das Boulevard Parkhaus vorab online gebucht. Ein Bäcker und ein Supermarkt sind auch direkt gegenüber. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und modern. 2 Handtücher für Körper und eins für auf dem Boden waren vorhanden. Hin und wieder hört man nachts die Straßenbahn wenn man noch wach ist.Geweckt wurden wir durch die Geräusche aber nicht. EC Terminal funktionierte bei Abreise nicht aber durchs Personal wurde eine nachträgliche Zahlung per Überweisung vereinbart. Waren alles in einem sehr zufrieden

Nah am Strand und Pier. Nettes Personal. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Einrichtung neu. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Die Parkgebühren liegen täglich bei min. 30 EUR. Preis-Leistungsempfehlung!

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel, erfüllt preislich total seinen Zweck und hat eine gute Lage zum Strand. Allerdings sind die Parkmöglichkeiten hier in der Umgebung sehr schlecht und teuer.

Difficult to get in. To enter via the frontdoor a code is needed. The code is only issued after checking in. On late arrival, difficult to get the room heated. It appears that after midnight heating is reduced and only resumes around 7 am. No food or drinks whatsoever available, except for 1 coffee machine.

Self check in leaves a lot to be desired. Bed was comfortable and nice location to boardwalk. Parking g is 400 meters away and 27 euro. The young intern was helpful but the check in process was horrible.

Questa struttura ha raggiunto due primati nella nostra vacanza: Camera più costosa in assoluto Camera peggiore Abbiamo trovato numerosi capelli sia negli asciugamani che per terra. Bagnoschiuma a disposizione solo nella doccia ma ahimè finito dopo due docce soltanto (nessun sapone o saponetta nel lavandino). La doccia ha un box parziale quindi l’acqua invade il bagno. La camera non è provvista di asciugacapelli e non ce n’è a disposizione nemmeno uno “da condividere” all’interno della struttura (vero che nelle dotazioni della camera non è riportato ma persino le strutture più basiche e perfino quelle a conduzione familiare lo mettono a disposizione). La camera non è provvista di minifrigo e non c’è a disposizione degli ospiti nemmeno un frigo nelle aree comuni (vero che nelle dotazioni della camera non è riportato ma considerata la cifra spropositata pagata credo sia plausibile sperare di avere qualche confort basico). Fastidioso il rumore del tram che transita a pochi metri dall’hotel Per ultimo, nonostante le informazioni della camera riportino “pulizie una volta a soggiorno” non ci hanno mai pulito la camera.

Rummet utan fönster hade supersmart belysning. En lampa på golvet tändes när man satte ner en fot. Det var rent och fräscht. På natten var det lite lyhört och glapp i vår dörr så det lät som att någon var och fipplade med dörren. Bra läge med gångavstånd till kurhotellet och alla strandrestauranger

Hôtel bien situé face au Casino. Nous avions choisi une chambre sans fenêtre pour le tarif, mais nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix, très bien pour une nuit et surtout sur l'arrière du bâtiment donc au calme. Literie confortable, salle de bain propre. Juste peux être une arrivée autonome quelque peu surprenante, où nous sommes guidé pour faire nos carte de chambre (après un long voyage on aime toujours être pris en charge).

Tolles Hotel und super zentral gelegen. Habe im Winter dort gerade mal 40€ für ein solides Zimmer gezahlt. Kein Fenster, dafür aber ein großes und bequemes Bett. Self- CheckIn gestaltete sich super easy. Im Eingangsbereich des Hotels roch es leider recht streng nach fäkalien, die Zimmer hingegen nicht mehr. War sehr zufrieden und kann es bedenkenlos empfehlen.

The room was modern and clean and had all the facilities I needed, the self check-in and -out went smoothly.Two points that could be improved were that the bathroom door was very stiff to open and close, and that the safe is placed at the bottom of the wardrobe, which means that longer items of clothing cannot hang over it properly. I had a pleasant stay overall.

Wir haben eine Nacht in dem Hotel verbracht. Positiv: sehr zentral, sauber, Bett bequem. Negativ: unfreundliches Personal, kaum direkter Kontakt alles digital, Hotel hat nur Zimmer im Erdgeschoss (ergo sehr laut durch Personen oder Straßenbahn), Fenster kann man nicht öffnen, Klimanlage ging ständig von alleine an obwohl sie aus war. Für eine Nacht war es total ok. Aber für mehrere Tage würde ich das Hotel nicht wählen.

The Fire Alarm went of on three occasions during the night. Guests spilled out onto the street and the hotel had no staff on duty. The management of evacuation was terrible with many guests confused. Staff arrived from the RAMADA Hotel ,a sister hotel, however, none wore high viz jackets or gave guests any clear instructions. It was a chaotic situation. This occurred 3 times. Guests started checking google and found the Fox hotel had problems in the past. The management at one stage blamed their fire alarm company for the second and third alarms saying the equipment reset done remotely triggered the problem. No alarm engineers came to the hotel and no local emergency fire services attended. It was very badly managed. The Ramada hotel management refused any requests for swapping guests to their hotel. The Hotel fire systems have failed before and this was not known when we booked up. If you value your life and safety in an emergency this hotel is not for you. In addition to poor safety systems, the hotel walls are thin and its noisy. The corridors are more like a youth hostel. Rooms look good and bed comfortable but who wants to go to sleep in a building with no staff to be available in an Emergency?

Great staying, this is my second time at Fox hotel. The only thing i didnt like is i got the email with my room number same day as my check in day. I didnt have internet outside my home country Denmark so i had deficulties checking in when i arrived because no internet means no receving new emails. But i called your Support line and her i got great help from the staff. Thank you very much with your patient:) best regards.

What really cool efficiency hotel and super great locale so very close to the beach! Room was almost complete ergonomic perfection. The bed was super comfy too. The only hiccup was the lockers to store stuff pre-check-in wasn’t able to be unlocked via their app or the QR code— so that required the help of the friendly staff person on duty. I don’t know what we would have done if it was beyond the limited hours (1100 to 1700) when a human is there.

It’s 3 min walk from Kurhaus Tramstop with tram 1 9 10, great connection. Nearness from Tramstop is important as we have to drag our suitcases on uneven pavement. Great price/quality. The friendly price with cleanness and privacy and easy access (public transport) is very good. Next time I\d need to stay in The Hague, I would like to book this hotel.

Schöne Zimmer in Guter Lage, gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Gute Betten für erholsamen Schlaf. Straßenbahn Haltestelle Kurhaus nur wenige Meter entfernt die einen ins Zentrum und zum Hauptbahnhof von Den Haag bringen. Der Strand ist auch nur wenige Min entfernt. Sonst Einkaufs und Essenversorgung ist auch gesichert.

Wir waren nur kurz über Nacht in Scheveningen. Dafür war dieses preiswerte Hotel ideal. Ein Raum mit eigenem Badezimmer, dafür kein Fenster. Tiptop für eine Nacht. Verpflegung könnte man sich mit den Automaten in der Lobby selbst besorgen.

Hôtel neuf avec 26 chambres, pas de réception et self Check in et out. Possibilité de breakfast à l’hôtel Ramada d’à côté pour 18,5€ et également possibilité de parking dans le même hôtel pour 27,5€ la journée. Chambre petite mais très propre et fonctionnel. Pas de chaîne en français sur la TV.

Es ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Insbesondere das Badezimmer ist " schick". TV mit Chromecast Streaming Option der eigenen Apps direkt auf den Bildschirm. Safe ist auch im Zimmer. Der Kaffee aus dem Automaten in der Lobby war zwar nicht der üppigste,jedoch schmeckte er gut. Im Grossen und Ganzen ist das Fox eine gute Wahl. Kühlschrank gibt es nicht in den Zimmern.

No one present for check in - felt a bit ‘cold’ - not temperature. Just feeling. No tea & coffee making facilities apart from an extortionately priced vending machine. Also my room was room 1 which was right by the front door, so I heard EVERY guest arrriving, even at 2 & 3 am. The bedroom, shower & room generally was fantastic however so these are just niggles. For the price, it was good value.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij dit hotel. Het was even wennen dat het inchecken digitaal ging via een computer in de entree. De kamer was klein maar volledig. Wel gehorig, ‘s-nachts regelmatig wakker geworden door mensen op de gang. Fijn was de AH-to-go in de entree. Kun je koffie en wat eten halen. Het hotel ligt heerlijk vlakbij het strand. En een fietsstalling (bewaakt) ligt er tegenover. Ook praktisch.

Wir hatten einige Probleme beim einchecken. Die Mitarbeiterin vor Ort hat uns aber direkt super geholfen und war sehr nett! Wir durften sogar 2 Stunden früher unser Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer hat eine schöne Größe und Ausstattung, ist sauber und das Bett gemütlich. Ein Föhn und WLAN wären noch schön gewesen. Was mich leider wach gehalten hat: wenn meine "Nachbarn" ihre Tür ins Schloss fallen gelassen haben, hat meine Zimmertür mächtig mit gewackelt. Und meine "Nachbarn" waren leider relativ laut auf dem Flur in der Nacht. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber es ist schon hellhörig. Am Besten ganz hinten ein Zimmer anfordern, wo nicht so viele andere Gäste Nachts dran vorbei laufen. Der Kaffee ist sehr lecker, wenn auch für 2,50 € etwas teuer. Die Tram fährt direkt von Den Haag Bahnhof zum Hotel, Fußweg noch ca. 2 Minuten. Zur Strandpromenade läuft man ca. 5 Minuten. Die Lage ist also top! Alles in Allem habe ich mich wohl gefühlt!

Difficult to get in. To enter via the frontdoor a code is needed. The code is only issued after checking in. On late arrival, difficult to get the room heated. It appears that after midnight heating is reduced and only resumes around 7 am. No food or drinks whatsoever available, except for 1 coffee machine.

We had a room without any windows and with very poor air conditioning, making it extremely uncomfortable. The room was also dirty, and there was a strong sewage something smell in the hallway. Although we had booked two nights, we chose to leave after the first night because we simply couldn’t imagine staying there any longer. We didn’t ask for a refund. We just wanted to get out. Leaving was definitely the best decision we made during our holiday.

Very clean, comfortable stay. Didn't love the limited human interaction as this is a highly automated place with limited hours of service, but the gentleman from housekeeping was very nice. I do recommend the place for a clean, basic, affordable stay.
