The Hudson Whaler was the perfect place- priced reasonably, extremely well kept and beautiful. It is a no-frills kind of hotel which is exactly what we were looking for. I loved that the toilet was in a separate room from the tub and shower! (atleast it was in our room!). Highly recommend.

the girl who greeted me at the front desk was a delight! gave me all the info on what restaurants were open in a curated list. the room was clean and i loved the fireplace. great spot on warren and ample parking that was covered by the hotel.

This was such a cute hotel!! Loved the location, was easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Was great to have a place to park as well, and staff was friendly and accommodating :)

Room was charmingly decorated, spacious and a nice bathroom. As it's in a historic building, there is draft from the windows and can get chilly. The electric fireplace is helpful, as is the full carpet. Hotel does not have a lot of amenities, but the location is unbeatable. Great for an overnight or two.

I enjoyed the old world style hotel accommodation with pleasant modern amenities. The municipal parking arrangement was convenient and permit issued by hotel presented no problems. Entertainment and restaurants were within easy walking distance.

Very cute place close to everything we needed. However, our bathroom door doesn’t slide shut completely and in a small room is a must. Also no coffee was stocked in our room and none available at front desk . Hotel has other bathrooms available in hallway and a decent fitness center .

The room was extremely clean, well decorated and the best part was the shower. It had eight jets. I had never taken a shower with eight jets. The room was over looking Warren Street, which had easy access to restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends. In fact I’m going back there with my daughters in November. Ps loved the working fireplace.

Luckily the hotel called to ask what time I would be checking in as the front desk staff leaves at 7. They gave me late check in instructions, although I made it at 6:55! The hotel is beautiful with original woodwork and features. Rooms are huge with super modern bathroom features.

Our stay at the Hudson Whaler completely exceeded our expectations. The property was super charming and in the best location on Warren St., surrounded by great restaurants and shops. Crystal at the front desk was so helpful, even upgraded us to a King room when we asked and sent us some personalized restaurant recos. We loved our room and wish we could have stayed longer!

We were wow’ed with modern/nautical rooms including vintage common areas/lobby inside a historic building. Highly recommend - quiet and relaxing in the middle of Hudson within walking distance of restaurants, cocktail bars, cafes and plenty of antique shops.
