The staff was very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to ship an item we forgot all the way to Brasov, and kept in contact throughout the process. The rooms are decent. If you stay in any "old town" in Romania, don't expect elevators or ultra-modern amenities. It was a great experience

Loved the location, the courtyard structure of the building, very comfortable bed, bathroom, and climate control, breakfast. Staff was very helpful getting taxis and managing flight delays and spoke very good English. Be advised, no elevator and reception only present from 8 am to 8 pm. All in all, charming building just around the corner from the Orthodox cathedral.

Très bel établissement, bien situé pour visiter la ville. Très calme et chambre agréable (salle de bain nickel) Le wifi fonctionne bien. Excellent petit déjeuner buffet. Un grand merci à la dame qui s'occupe de l'entretien des chambres. Bien sûr, ils n'ont pas de parking. Privilégiez le parking Cipariu (à 350m de l'hôtel et 14€/24h) Affiche souvent complet mais ne pas hésiter à faire la queue, l'attente ne nous a pas pris + de 20mn en ayant 4 ou 5 voitures devant nous. Ne surtout pas aller au parking Viteazu (seulement 2 heures et si on reste plus longtemps le tarif pour 24 heures est d'environ 80€!!!)

I had a wonderful stay here. The place is basically a few old apartments divided into hotel rooms, connected by an inner court yard. The advantage is that the walls are thick and it's really quiet in the rooms. All amenities were in place, and everything was clean. There were sufficient power outlets in the room to charge any electronic equipment. And most of all: bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was included, which was good. Everything was made fresh, and sometimes the bread rolls and pastries were still warm. Selection is a bit limited but it's definitely tasty. Two quirks with the place: Google Maps will lead you to the back entrance, which is at the main street/boulevard. Also, the light switches may not be for the nearest lights, to keep things interesting. All in all, I'll definitely consider staying here again if there'll be a next visit to Cluj.

Hotellet var hyggelige, personalet var hyggelig, rengjøring var veldig dårlige på vår suite brukte de max 5 min på "rengjøring" om dagen, frokosten var dårlig siste timen av frokosten var det nesten tomt for mat og beliggenhet var veldig bra, rolige området midt i byen.

Very well situated close to the city center. The staff were helpful and the rooms have everything one needs. The breakfast was ok and also the variety of food. The only thing that I disliked was the color of the walls: dark grey. Very uninspired as the rooms seem even darker (not much light anyway). Also, there was a bad smell in the bathroom.

Stannade en natt. Mycket trevligt. Bra centralt läge. Rent och välstädat. Bekvämt med litet kylskåp på rummet. Receptionen vara öppet til klockan 20, men det var enkelt och smidigt att ta sig in och ut senare på kvällen. Frukost var från klockan 07:30, men när jag skulle checka ut ca 07:10 så var de redo och jag erbjöds äta tidigare utan problem.

Niice very modern renovation of an older (19th century?) building, right off a main boulevard 5 minutes away from just about everything you'd want to see in Cluj. Staff is friendly and helpful, my room was adequate for the price and breakfast was generous and tasty. Only 2 quibbles. 1. skimpy pillow. 2. no way to adjust heat/cooling in room and in the course of 4 days in mid-October, one would have need of both.

Leuk hotel vlakbij de bezienswaardigheden. Vriendelijke en behulpzame receptie. Ontbijt beter dan gemiddeld in Roemenië. Voor een kort verblijf zeker de moeite waard.

Min tid på hotellet var trevlig och jag fick bra tips från Lore som har rekommenderat fler platser i både Cluj och i Bukarest. Rummet och frukosten var mycket bra, tack min tid där :)

Loved the location, the courtyard structure of the building, very comfortable bed, bathroom, and climate control, breakfast. Staff was very helpful getting taxis and managing flight delays and spoke very good English. Be advised, no elevator and reception only present from 8 am to 8 pm. All in all, charming building just around the corner from the Orthodox cathedral.

Et trivelig hotell midt i bysentrum, men uten å bli plaget av noe støy. Hyggelig betjening og rent og ordentlig. Frokosten helt ok, ikke det helt store utvalget, men mer enn godt nok :)

I had a wonderful stay here. The place is basically a few old apartments divided into hotel rooms, connected by an inner court yard. The advantage is that the walls are thick and it's really quiet in the rooms. All amenities were in place, and everything was clean. There were sufficient power outlets in the room to charge any electronic equipment. And most of all: bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was included, which was good. Everything was made fresh, and sometimes the bread rolls and pastries were still warm. Selection is a bit limited but it's definitely tasty. Two quirks with the place: Google Maps will lead you to the back entrance, which is at the main street/boulevard. Also, the light switches may not be for the nearest lights, to keep things interesting. All in all, I'll definitely consider staying here again if there'll be a next visit to Cluj.

Hotellet var hyggelige, personalet var hyggelig, rengjøring var veldig dårlige på vår suite brukte de max 5 min på "rengjøring" om dagen, frokosten var dårlig siste timen av frokosten var det nesten tomt for mat og beliggenhet var veldig bra, rolige området midt i byen.

Great place to stay in a great location. The breakfast was exceptional! The only downside is the parking situation but that was expected as the hotel is in a busy city center area.

Stannade en natt. Mycket trevligt. Bra centralt läge. Rent och välstädat. Bekvämt med litet kylskåp på rummet. Receptionen vara öppet til klockan 20, men det var enkelt och smidigt att ta sig in och ut senare på kvällen. Frukost var från klockan 07:30, men när jag skulle checka ut ca 07:10 så var de redo och jag erbjöds äta tidigare utan problem.

Niice very modern renovation of an older (19th century?) building, right off a main boulevard 5 minutes away from just about everything you'd want to see in Cluj. Staff is friendly and helpful, my room was adequate for the price and breakfast was generous and tasty. Only 2 quibbles. 1. skimpy pillow. 2. no way to adjust heat/cooling in room and in the course of 4 days in mid-October, one would have need of both.

Check in very simple. Excellent communication. Lovely spacious and clean room. I have only deducted a star for the breakfast, which was very basic, and the cooked options were rather unappetising. However I made do with the mini pastries, potted yoghurt and fruit juice, but it is certainly not one of those places that launches you into your day feeling full and happy.

We stayed here for 2 nights, which was ideal. Very convenient, we travelled from main train station by taxi ( 10 minutes, 17 Lei). The 'hotel' is a central location and easy to walk to cathedral, Opera /Theatre house, bars and restaurants and groceries. We didn't interact with any staff because we were sent clear instructions and key codes in advance of our arrival. We just walked into the building and then found our room. Up 2 floors (no elevator). The room was clean, basic but had essentials. The bed was very comfortable, facilities perfectly adequate for 2 nights stay. Thank uou
