We chose this cottage on beautiful St. Augustine beach to celebrate my husband's birthday to be close to the beach and relax yet be a short drive to the historic downtown. The owner is helpful and very accessible for any questions. We love that so many amenities were included making it truly a home away from home, including everything from spices to laundry and dish soap, and especially beach towels, chairs and toys. Thank you so much Justina! We'll be back!

Wow, first of all, it is even better than the pictures! Super comfortable home with everything you need and more. We loved the location, which was just across the street from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, ice cream, shops, shopping, and right in the heart of St. Augustine Beach. Just a short drive away is downtown St. Augustine. We loved the relaxed vibe of staying on the beach and being able to travel into town for the nightlife and more hustle and bustle. Great to have a yard and privacy for the same price as a hotel! Justina was a fabulous host and very responsive to all of our questions. Thank you Justina for sharing your home and for a fabulous stay!

My college daughter, her friend, and I spent a week in this lovely house and I must say it is one of the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable places I have stayed using VRBO. This house is well cared for, very updated, lovely floors, and in general feels like home. My family likes home cooking healthy meals rather than eating out, and there was surprisingly plenty of pots, pans, juicer, knives, serving bowls, and even some spices in the cupboard. All directions and house rules are clearly posted and easy to follow - like keeping sand out of the house, keep food out of the bedrooms, etc. It stays clean because it is kept clean! Laundry was right in the main area and easy to use. The other neat thing is that the street it is on is very quiet, the neighbors were friendly, and there was a great breakfast restaurant on one corner and ice cream on the other - we walked up there every night! It is also within walking distance of MANY restaurants. The beach is truly steps away, and since it is residential, it is quiet and not overpopulated. Fantastic place to stay for a beach trip! This house was the perfect size for my family to all sleep comfortably and we loved having two full bathrooms. Everything was clean, communication was prompt and helpful, and the check-in process was seamless. We also could not have asked for a better location-such a close walk to the beach and multiple restaurants!

The house is beautiful & location too. There was lots of sand under all the rugs. Mentioning this because of rules to remove shoes. We found spider webs & spiders. We assume the house hadn't had renters for awhile before us. Other than that we loved it & it's amenities.

Property was perfect for what we needed. Clean, nicely decorated, and in a perfect location. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with host was very good. One issue was that the showers would not turn on, but since we were just overnight and going straight home it wasn’t too much of an issue. If we were staying longer it may have been a problem. When I mentioned it to the host she explained that she should put a note in the bathroom explaining how turn it on, as it was tricky. We tried everything and nothing worked. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Bud's lighthouse is a well equipped, comfortable clean home located in a quiet location a short walk from the beach . Wonderful walks along the beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby . Highly recommend Cafe 11 for live music - 2 blocks walk away. Justina was very helpful and responsive to questions .We highly recommend this property.

The location was great for our trip as we were in town for shows at the amphitheater. However, the master shower was difficult to operate and the water pressure was very weak. Master bed had valley in it.

I rate stays on whether its clean, quiet and comfortable and Bud's Lighthouse excelled with all. In addition, the location for us couldn't have been better. Close to family and excellent restaurants. The unit was clean with attention to detail, the bed's were comfortable and the neighborhood gave us a quiet visit. It was well stocked with everything noted in the listing. When we return we'll try to stay here first. Justina ensured our stay earn it's 5 star rating.

The perfect spot for a quick getaway to relax and recharge. Walking distance to a few different restaurants and close to the beach. I have stayed at Buds Light house in the past, and come back because it is truly the nicest stay in St A. You are steps away from ice cream, and breakfast Diner, and the beach, and this house is one of the cleanest and nicest I have stayed in - and I have been to MANY! I have never needed anything while there, but Justina is always quick to respond to any communication. Thanks Justina, see you next time!

We recently had a fabulous stay at Bud's Lighthouse for a family wedding in town. Justina was an amazing host; she was helpful, responsive, and super friendly. She provided us with helpful information prior to our stay along with restaurant recommendations. The property is in a beautiful neighborhood just one block from the beach. We loved being able to walk to many different restaurants, an ice cream parlor, the diner, the splash park/playground, a souvenir shop, and of course, the beach!! We were just a 10 minute drive over the bridge into downtown which was super convenient and makes you feel like you have the best of both worlds. The property is clean, super homey and cozy, with thoughtful amenities like many extra towels, extra TP and garbage bags. We were so sad to leave but we are excited to return! Thanks Justina for such a wonderful family vacation!

Great location just one block from beach! Also lots of restaurants nearby, which makes this spot very convenient. House was 3 BR, had all conveniences, and was very clean and comfortable. Would def stay there again!

Such a nice, clean property in the perfect location. A very short drive to the amphitheater and the historic district, and within walking distance to a beautiful beach and several restaurants. We would definitely come back!

We recently had a fabulous stay at Bud's Lighthouse for a family wedding in town. Justina was an amazing host; she was helpful, responsive, and super friendly. She provided us with helpful information prior to our stay along with restaurant recommendations. The property is in a beautiful neighborhood just one block from the beach. We loved being able to walk to many different restaurants, an ice cream parlor, the diner, the splash park/playground, a souvenir shop, and of course, the beach!! We were just a 10 minute drive over the bridge into downtown which was super convenient and makes you feel like you have the best of both worlds. The property is clean, super homey and cozy, with thoughtful amenities like many extra towels, extra TP and garbage bags. We were so sad to leave but we are excited to return! Thanks Justina for such a wonderful family vacation!

Bud's lighthouse is a well equipped, comfortable clean home located in a quiet location a short walk from the beach . Wonderful walks along the beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby . Highly recommend Cafe 11 for live music - 2 blocks walk away. Justina was very helpful and responsive to questions .We highly recommend this property.

Wow, first of all, it is even better than the pictures! Super comfortable home with everything you need and more. We loved the location, which was just across the street from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, ice cream, shops, shopping, and right in the heart of St. Augustine Beach. Just a short drive away is downtown St. Augustine. We loved the relaxed vibe of staying on the beach and being able to travel into town for the nightlife and more hustle and bustle. Great to have a yard and privacy for the same price as a hotel! Justina was a fabulous host and very responsive to all of our questions. Thank you Justina for sharing your home and for a fabulous stay!

Condo was an easy walk to the beach at the end of the street. Everything you needed to make a meal was available and well organized. Notebook of restaurants and things to do was helpful. Many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!! Thanks!

Overall the stay was good. Great location with access to everything! There were only two things that I feel need pointing out. There was unfinished laundry in the washer and dryer and the kitchen had a lot of ants.

Everything was great and all the amenities were sufficient. The interior decorating was immaculate and cheerful. We loved the location which was convenient for shopping, walking to the beach and visiting Old Town St. Augustine.
