And if you have children, there is simply nowhere else to stay! The buffet has colourful kid-friendly cups and bowls in addition to the china. There is an outdoor play area with string lights and grass, safely bordered by decorative walls and hedges. And they are pet-friendly! As a couple traveling on vacation without children or pets, we marveled at how this hotel seamlessly made us feel fully catered to while fully catering to families and pets simultaneously. The property is brand new and everything was lovely. The restaurant and bar is great, vegan options and nice cocktails, a little pricey but good for a hotel. The pool area is nice with loungers and umbrellas and towels provided as well as nice seating area. There is also a games room with someone supervising, a gym and conference area. The rooms were lovely, so nice and spacious. Everything was state of the art and the kitchenette had everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable and the black out blinds were a nice touch. They had USB charging ports and everything was well presented. The TV even let us screen our apps on our phones so we could watch Netflix and Amazon prime. The staff were polite and kind. They helped out wherever they could and were so friendly. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Orinte train station and 10 mins from another metro stop. There are lots of cool restaurants along the strip near the aquarium and a supermarket in the shopping centre opposite Orinte train station. A bolt to the city wasn't crazy expensive and the metro was easy as well. We would definitely recommend the hotel for those wanting to chill and also explore Lisbon! Really enjoyed our stay!

We had a spacious and luxurious suite with a kitchen, living room, 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Very comfortable, beautiful views. The Terrace restaurant had a sumptuous breakfast and delicious lunches. Staff were very friendly and nice. My younger sun loved the Kids club.

It was a great child friendly hotel. The staff went out of the way to make my kids feel comfortable. There is a kid play area and an indoor and outdoor pool. It’s very close to the airport which is why we chose it before our flight. We had an early flight and they packed us breakfast and had it for us at check out. It’s close to the aquarium and lots of places to eat. The only drawback was there were loud people at the bar and we were on the first floor but luckily it ended by 11.

Brand spanking new property that is hands-down, the most family-friendly hotel there is. Staff is very professional and warm, rooms are supremely spacious and fully stocked. We stayed here with our family of five and it was a breeze to get to and from the airport. Breakfast buffet, and restaurant, were also excellent and we ran into the founder of the hotel as a bonus! Fabulous hotel, close to the airport. It is so quiet and the pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have all these modern touches like automatic lighting, blinds, and towel warmers. It was our favourite hotel during our stay in Portugal. Not the most central, but easy to travel from and that is the reason it was so quiet and relaxing.

This location is very close to the airport. It is not in the trendy historical area of Lisbon, but that area is not difficult to get to about a 10-minute cab ride. It's easy to get a bolt ride from this location. The area seems safe and there's a mall nearby. And also it's on the former grounds of the world expo, so there's a lot of new infrastructure here or at least relatively new. I liked our room which came with a washer dryer which is of course why we stayed here in the first place. Honestly, I was a lot more comfortable here than I was at our next hotel which was the Intercontinental Lisbon. The rooms were nice, large, spacious, clean and modern.

This was probably the most tech forward hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel and artwork are stunning. My only negative is that whoever stayed in our room prior definitely had children-a toy was left under the coffee table area and one of the decorative pillows on our bed had sticky candy underneath. But besides that, the apartment was gorgeous and the welcome bottle of wine plus breakfast buffet were excellent. Wish we could have stayed one more night to experience the hotel more and visited the oceanarium.

Great place to stay. Very modern with a washer/dryer in the room and small kitchen area. Bed was very comfortable with ultra clean sheets. Room was cleaned each day. Food was excellent at the Terrace Restaurant at the hotel. Would come to stay here again!

This hotel has discovered the secret of true hospitality. Not only did they get everything right in service, food quality and cleanliness, they took it a step further. Front desk staff stands to great you and converse; restaurant managers take the time to walk you through the restaurant’s offerings; bellman explain all aspects of the room’s capabilities. And if you have children, there is simply nowhere else to stay! The buffet has colourful kid-friendly cups and bowls in addition to the china. There is an outdoor play area with string lights and grass, safely bordered by decorative walls and hedges. And they are pet-friendly! As a couple traveling on vacation without children or pets, we marveled at how this hotel seamlessly made us feel fully catered to while fully catering to families and pets simultaneously. They literally offer the specialised service that most hotels strive to achieve. Well done. We’ll be back.

It was a great child friendly hotel. The staff went out of the way to make my kids feel comfortable. There is a kid play area and an indoor and outdoor pool. It’s very close to the airport which is why we chose it before our flight. We had an early flight and they packed us breakfast and had it for us at check out. It’s close to the aquarium and lots of places to eat. The only drawback was there were loud people at the bar and we were on the first floor but luckily it ended by 11.

An excellent hotel/apartment option geared more to a corporate traveler for business but would work well for a longer term stay since the kitchenette is amazing equipped with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Very friendly front desk staff - nicely arranged a taxi for a very early morning pick up to the airport. Nice walking distance to the Oceanarium and some good restaurants. Didn't have time to enjoy the restaurant on site.

Para garantir o nosso conforto o Hotel Martinhal Oriente, ofereceu nos um upgrade para um apartamento com 2 quartos absolutamente fantástico. A simpatia dos funcionários é realmente destacável, as instalações são mesmo muito boas e o pequeno almoço é divinal e sofisticado.

Martinhal foi uma excelente escolha, o café da manhã é maravilhoso, ambiente familiar, recepção super prestativa e atenciosa! Nossa terceira vez em Lisboa e a partir de agora iremos voltar somente para o Martinhal.

This location is very close to the airport. It is not in the trendy historical area of Lisbon, but that area is not difficult to get to about a 10-minute cab ride. It's easy to get a bolt ride from this location. The area seems safe and there's a mall nearby. And also it's on the former grounds of the world expo, so there's a lot of new infrastructure here or at least relatively new. I liked our room which came with a washer dryer which is of course why we stayed here in the first place. Honestly, I was a lot more comfortable here than I was at our next hotel which was the Intercontinental Lisbon. The rooms were nice, large, spacious, clean and modern.

The property is brand new and everything was lovely. The restaurant and bar is great, vegan options and nice cocktails, a little pricey but good for a hotel. The pool area is nice with loungers and umbrellas and towels provided as well as nice seating area. There is also a games room with someone supervising, a gym and conference area. The rooms were lovely, so nice and spacious. Everything was state of the art and the kitchenette had everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable and the black out blinds were a nice touch. They had USB charging ports and everything was well presented. The TV even let us screen our apps on our phones so we could watch Netflix and Amazon prime. The staff were polite and kind. They helped out wherever they could and were so friendly. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Orinte train station and 10 mins from another metro stop. There are lots of cool restaurants along the strip near the aquarium and a supermarket in the shopping centre opposite Orinte train station. A bolt to the city wasn't crazy expensive and the metro was easy as well. We would definitely recommend the hotel for those wanting to chill and also explore Lisbon! Really enjoyed our stay!

Brand spanking new property that is hands-down, the most family-friendly hotel there is. Staff is very professional and warm, rooms are supremely spacious and fully stocked. We stayed here with our family of five and it was a breeze to get to and from the airport. Breakfast buffet, and restaurant, were also excellent and we ran into the founder of the hotel as a bonus! Fabulous hotel, close to the airport. It is so quiet and the pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have all these modern touches like automatic lighting, blinds, and towel warmers. It was our favourite hotel during our stay in Portugal. Not the most central, but easy to travel from and that is the reason it was so quiet and relaxing.

One of the best 5 star (kids focused) hotels that we have ever stayed in. Amenities for the children exceeded all expectations, kids club was spectacular. Breakfast was good, nothing exceptional but again had everything children would want. Property is well maintained and the rooms were 5 star quality. My only recommendation would be to have an adults only area.

It’s a very well maintained site; the kids spaces were great. The facilities were pristine. The food at the on site restaurant was very good. And the staff were superb. Nothing to fault. And the location is right next to the science museum and the aquarium. For a flying visit with 5-12 year olds this would be really hard to beat when it comes to location, quality and service.
