Property was very clean room was clean very quiet very peaceful they do need a pool

If you just need a cheap place to put your head that's about all you're going to get. No breakfast no pool no view but you can find broken vending machines dark dirty dingy rooms mold and plenty of leaks

Room was overpriced for what we got, which was no blanket, no coffee maker, no toiletries, only one little bar of soap. Need to install shelfs, or bars in shower. The step below the door needs lowered. We tripped a fell because of the high step. It was convenient, but we will not be booking this one when we are in the area again.

Liked the room and style of motel. No complimentary coffee or breakfast offered.

We were put into a room that was still under construction with doors that wouldn’t close and it wouldn’t open outlets that did not work a refrigerator in the middle of the room Of course there was no coffee maker. There were no blankets for the beds sheets only, the motel was probably built in the early 60s. And needed so many cosmetic things it should not have been available for guests until the renovation was completed, Access to the bathroom was through a 24 inch door of course nothing was ADA compliant. What is the most irritating things was none of the outlets worked two were available that did not function and the third. The refrigerator was plugged into across the room.

The sheets on the bed did not look like they had been changed since last guest. No coffee maker. Noisy guest next door, tv loud all night.

The walls in the bathroom were mildewed and peeling. I was afraid to use the shower barefoot. The cleaning lady knocked on my door at 10:30 and asked if I checked out which is not until 11:00. I had one more day reserved but I cancelled and found another place to stay. I would never stay there again.

Very clean

It was absolutely gross. Walking into our room, there was urine all over the seat. Nothing looked like it was clean.

Bathroom was dirty, blood on the wall, leftover dirty linen. Checked in at 8pm lobby doors already locked. Purchased a King bed, none available when we checked in. Ended up getting two double beds. Cant complain only paid $100 for the room. That should have said it all.

The property looked well kept and clean. The room was bigger than I expected and clean. The only complaint I could really give is low lighting, the tv was very far from the bed, and the bed didn't have a proper comforter and seemed more like a curtain.

NOT A HOTEL. This is a 1960s/70s run down motel. There was dried blood on the sheet and white stains all over the very thin "comforter" on both beds. The bathroom door was filthy grey and had a hole in it (you couldn't see through but it was all broken like someone punched it), there were gurgly old pipes exposed where there used to be a sink back in it's weekly motel rental days, the light switches were disgusting, there were cigarette ashes flicked along the bathroom, and I checked in outside through a glass. I did not feel safe and it was noisy.

I chose the Blue Hotel because it was rated excellent on the Expedia web site. The motel is a renovated facility from perhaps the 1960s upgraded to perhaps the 1980s. It has an open court yard with all units having exterior entrances directly off the court yard. Upon entering our motel room, we were greeted by a 3 inch long cockroach running across the floor. The only electrical outlet available for use was a single wall outlet behind the TV with a multiple outlet adapter. No outlets in the bathroom. Nice size closet but no hangers. The walls throughout the room were painted and had lots of touch-up paint applied with various non-matching colors. The air conditioning unit was not able to cool the entire room. The bathroom door showed lots of wear with blackened sections on the front edges - the door was not clean. The bed was comfortable. The motel did not measure up to the excellent rating shown on Expedia. Very disappointed.

It was a total flop. Three rooms later, and still had problems with the AC Old on the ceilings and walls and peeling paint. The total disgusting place yet experience would not refund my money. I checked in, dropped my bags and left for four hours to come back to find that the AC was not working Three rooms later and then speaking with someone at Experian to find out they would not refund my money. I then had no choice but to stay. Thanks for your terrible service. This will all go down on my YouTube influencer channel.

I didn’t like that the AC was not on when we checked in, the room was really hot. The paint was peeling everywhere including the shower. The shower handle was broken and hard to turn on.

it was quiet and clean. however we did have someone walk into our room with a key card. they walked right back out when they realized the mistake. could have used more toilet paper. maybe another chair and a table. but needed a room on short notice in this area around nascar weekend, this was it. i would probably stay again here.

Always wonderful staff that check us in, always have the same room for me when I do stay. Thank you for always being on top of things before I come they have the paperwork ready to sign and get into the room. Easy check in and out process, no deposit, quiet surroundings.

Air conditioner was not the best but after I told the front desk they offered to move me to a different room. We didn’t bother because it was not horrible just not as cooling as we like but it did an ok job. Staff was great, room was clean and acceptable, price for what you got was amazing!

Review based on being a male, single occupant:: clean room, updated, convenient to highway/shopping. Not fancy, but easily fits the need for a reasonably priced, clean room. However DO NOT RECOMMEND for single, or traveling together females- find another place, please.

The staff is so nice and friendly. An there fast food and Wawa close by for food

Hotel Blue was a quick stay to go to Burning Man Bike Event location was perfect,clean nice room . People working there were very nice Convenient location,very quiet Would stay again

We needed a hotel close to DeLand, Fl. This was great spot.

This motels in outstanding value if you’re only looking for a place to sleep, this is a great place well lit, safe and quiet. You can park right in front of your room and walk in the door. I will certainly stay here next year when I come back to Deland.
