This was a clean, recently remodeled hotel… but very basic: not even a chair to sit in, in the room… no hairdryer, no microwave or fridge in the room. The swimming pool looked beautiful but was not heated, so we didn’t go in… quiet overall, and plenty of safe parking. The office is staffed 24/7 and they were happy to give us bottled water/towels as needed. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t notice any housekeeping services in that time, which was fine. We used the WiFi, and were happy to see they had Netflix on the TV.

The pool is not heated so very cold to swim in. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there. Only 2 blocks from the Malecon and all the restaurant and shops. Quite quiet in late November though.

Found this little gem on Expedia. Reasonable rate. Followed gps to find. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Our room was very clean. Furniture is sparse, but then we didn’t need a lot. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights rest. Very good Wifi. Close to the malacon in San Felipe, we felt quite comfortable going for a stroll late afternoon. Gated secure parking. Quiet area. As travelling snowbirds, I would highly recommend this location. Will stay again!

For the town of San Felipe, this hotel looked like it was probably the nicest option. It was very clean. For the area though, it was quite expensive; I paid nearly the same price for a very nice hotel with a lot of amenities in Ensenada the day after my stay here. The room would have been much better if it had had some very basic things like a safety lock on the inside of the door, a hair dryer, a chair in the room, and a reading lamp near the bed.

Family and friends of hotel owner given priority for better suited rooms. We arrived sooner but were given a room on second floor, even though I mentioned my mother’s knee issue. Our room lacked a mirror outside from one in the bathroom. It looked as if one had been but was removed for unknown reasons.
