We had an amazing vacation at El Dorado Maroma. The resort far exceeded our expectations. Lomas Hospitality was there to pick us up at the airport and got us to the resort without any issue. We were fortunate that we were to only ones in our shuttle going to the resort and going back to the airport. The staff were all so wonderful. Carlos at Lima Limon was there every morning to greet us for breakfast. What a special person! Carlos and Karen at Bar "24" knew exactly what we wanted. Rene was always there when we needed a drink on the beach then he was there at the restaurants at night still taking care of everyone. Bladimir and Juan were always attentive at lunch at Papitos. Marlene at Mio was super sweet taking care of us at dinner. I also want to give a big thank you to Fernanda. She was the hostess at Papitos and also at Lima Limon. She remembered our room number after the first day. There were many others that were so special. The food was exceptional. Definitely gourmet and so delicious. We also did a couples massage at Naay Spa. It was a nice experience. Everything as so clean too. Our room was made up daily with fresh towels. Then when we departed and arrived at the airport Lomas Hospitality walked us in the airport and got us checked in and made sure that there wasn't anything else that they could do for us. What a wonderful experience. We will be back for sure. I would highly recommend this property.

The resort is located on a beautiful, clean beach. The dining and bar options are included and all very delicious. We chose the package with included excursions that were all great and loved the organized transportation to and from the excursions and the airport. Top notch trip! and

This resort truly surprised us. First off I would like to say that we stayed at the Mi Hotelito room. I heard they have been the most recently renovated. It was a beautiful room that felt like a tropical getaway. The location was prime! That was our favorite part. We loved hanging out on our little patio and still received butler service there. Service everywhere was outstanding. Staff were always very happy to help. The food was the best we've had at an all-inclusive. It's a smaller resort and no buffet, so everything is cooked fresh. We usually get tired of the food by the end but not here. Chips and salsas to begin most meals. There are lots of Mexican options on the menu. We once went to a resort in Mexico with no Mexican restaurant, and it was so disappointing. El dorado maroma felt very Mexican and not just like an American resort in Mexico. We loved all the Mexican touches here. We wish they would do away with needing reservations at the restaurants. Felt very unnecessary. The beach was beautiful, but I will admit it's not exactly the type of beach I enjoy. I love swimming in the ocean. This was pretty shallow, and they had black metal lumps in the water that were pretty unsightly. The loungers are also kept pretty far back. It would have been nice if they were closer to the water. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The paddleboarding and kayaks were free and made the ocean very enjoyable. There was never a wait to use them. While paddleboarding, I saw starfish, a sting

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Clean room, good food, good drinks, true all-inclusive experience. Almost no nightlife, no snack options (except sit down full meals), no indoor/weather protected drink/bar options, no American TV channels (tough for sports fans or to see news updates). A few instances of waiters not being able to speak English well enough to explain menu options. Also asked to sit through sales pitch become “members”…basically a time share sales pitch. Overall a good experience in spite of the negative mentions above. Nice property!

Wonderful boutique adults only resort. Delicious food and drink and service felt genuine and welcoming. Highly recommend this if you like a smaller, more personalized scale of resort and experience.

This is a great, little resort. The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair. My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud. The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The grounds at the resort are immaculate. The staff members at the bars, the beach and the restaurants were all amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet laid back vibe, this is your place.

If you want a quiet quaint place to go, this is it! The staff was amazing. They always went out of the way to ensure you were having a great time and had everything you need. The beach was amazing, cleaned every morning and almost all day long. Everything was tremendous!!

as a female solo traveler, safety is paramount, and i never felt so safe while on vacation as i did here. the place is amazing. the bathrooms smell delicious. the restaurants offer delicious options and cater to any allergies or preferences you might have. be sure to book the specialty restaurants for suppers. the theme nights they offer once a week are quite the experience ( i only go to do the mexican night but thoroughly enjoyed it). the staff are very attentive- at the beach, in the restaurants, at the pools, everywhere you go. I've never felt so pampered from the time i arrived to the time i left. lots of activities to do each day from dancing lessons, to mini individual spanish lessons on the beach, arts and crafts, cooking lessons, beach and pool volleyball, etc and those are only the ones that i was informed about from roaming staff. the fact that it is only for 18 and over is so refreshing. do the on site excursions *based next door like the catamaran snorkling trip, camel ride, etc) or go off site for the cenote and cave trip for even more fun. if i would have had more days i would have done every offered excursion. the transportation, cleaning staff, bar tenders, pool cleaners, medics, life guards, bell boys, beach attendants, spa staff, restaurant staff, personal concierge, check in staff deserve much credit for making their clients enjoy the vacation even more memorable. everyone was so helpful and friendly. you wont go wrong choosing to book this property.

EDM was amazing!!! ALL staff were attentive and helpful from the time we arrived to the time we left. I had so much enjoying the amenities. The beach, the swim-up pool bar, and the entertainment at Rick’s. I visited with a group and we enjoyed everything. I upgraded from a private pool suite to a swim-up suite. The bathroom with the toilet room needs some updating, but besides that, everything else looks great. I also would love if they upgraded the food options. Some restaurants were, some were closed, some served different items on different days. I think something consistent at each restaurant with different options would be great. I will definitely visit again and recommend.

Took my mom here for her 60th birthday for a mother-daughter trip. This resort is a smaller boutique-like resort right on the beach. Overall this was a spectacular experience. There were a few hiccups like the jacuzzi tub not working in our room but after letting the staff know they sent someone to fix it. The food is amazing! What makes this place wonderful is the friendly staff. There is not really any night life or late-night entertainment or shows here but this is more a place to relax. The beach is definitely the most beautiful in Mexico and there is wait-staff on the beach to serve drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed this place but this place is definitely a place of rest and relaxation and not a place to come for a party. 10/10 would come back!

If you are hesitant to book here - STOP and just do it! Beautiful location. Phenomenal staff. Amazing culinary choices. We were looking for an adults only, relaxing, romantic trip - and that is EXACTLY what we got. Booked a Private Pool Suite - the view was outstanding. The outdoor shower was something straight out of my dreams! Loved it! The housekeeping team was incredible and seemed to predict our next need/request without ever being asked. The beach had the softest sand. You truly felt like you were in a private tropical paradise. Never a problem finding a beach bed or chair. Restaurant choices were exceptional - no buffets! Beach party and bands were perfection. Several activities daily. Drinks are incredible and truly ALL inclusive - no limitations - great selection! If you are a wine drinker they did have an exceptional wine list - however, they are primarily by the bottle and not included. Mixed drinks, sodas, juices, etc all available. Tipping is not required; but definitely appreciated and will get you great service! No nickel/diming - no surprise charges. Truly an all inclusive vacation! The spa was lovely (additional cost of course); but well worth it! The photos online of the grounds do not do this place justice! It is truly beautiful. The mattress was wonderful. Linens were in good repair. Room was SPOTLESS. Some of the furniture could use updating, but it did not detract from the experience. In room drinks were always replenished.

This is a great, little resort. The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair. My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud. The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The grounds at the resort are immaculate. The staff members at the bars, the beach and the restaurants were all amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet laid back vibe, this is your place.

If you want a quiet quaint place to go, this is it! The staff was amazing. They always went out of the way to ensure you were having a great time and had everything you need. The beach was amazing, cleaned every morning and almost all day long. Everything was tremendous!!

The property was beautiful. The room is very comfortable and nice and cool. Air-conditioning worked great & loved the room had a ceiling fan as well. The pool area was very nice, but the beach was spectacular very comfortable and the service was great! Breakfast was delicious, lunch was good and dinners were OK. Drinks were all very good. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it.

Everything was pretty great. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. It’s very easy to get from point A to point B. The food was a win regardless of where you decide to dine. The only downsides to our experience were the wildlife around the park and the slippery floors in the room. The caotis around the property were at first a novel experience. However, they quickly became bothersome; being known to jump onto outdoor dining tables, steal food from dining guests, and occasionally bite patrons as well. Our room, while clean and well maintained, was prone to accumulating condensation on the tile floors. These conditions proved dangerous in one instance with a pretty hard fall that resulted in some aching a bruising. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would be open to staying again. Though the absence of these issues would have made our stay perfect, I would still say the stay was lovely.

Excellent beach, food and staff. Room was disappointing. We booked a “Mi Hotelito Beachfront Suite.” It was beach front-ish, and definitely NOT a suite. In fact, the room was small by any standards. I feel a little ripped off by the room, but everything else was perfect.

Where do I begin! the resort was amazing the food was good and not just generic resort food. Papitos was by far my favorite restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was amazing. The catamaran ride was an added bonus. The beaches were perfect, It wasn't crowded. I had a blast. Eli our concierge was on point! she was so helpful and made sure all our needs were met. We even sat through a timeshare presentation and received a free massage at the spa for our troubles. The presentation wasn't that bad so spend the two hours, cause trust me its worth it. Oh and the junior sweet was anything but junior. The room was huge. Literally the biggest room I've ever stayed in. Fridge was stocked with waters, soda, and beer daily. All the bar staff was nice, I would recommend to bring small bills for tips. Those folks work hard and make each guest feel special. I know this review doesn't do them any justice, but you cant do wrong here. Would come back without a doubt. Thanks again Eli!!!!!

This resort truly surprised us. First off I would like to say that we stayed at the Mi Hotelito room. I heard they have been the most recently renovated. It was a beautiful room that felt like a tropical getaway. The location was prime! That was our favorite part. We loved hanging out on our little patio and still received butler service there. Service everywhere was outstanding. Staff were always very happy to help. The food was the best we've had at an all-inclusive. It's a smaller resort and no buffet, so everything is cooked fresh. We usually get tired of the food by the end but not here. Chips and salsas to begin most meals. There are lots of Mexican options on the menu. We once went to a resort in Mexico with no Mexican restaurant, and it was so disappointing. El dorado maroma felt very Mexican and not just like an American resort in Mexico. We loved all the Mexican touches here. We wish they would do away with needing reservations at the restaurants. Felt very unnecessary. The beach was beautiful, but I will admit it's not exactly the type of beach I enjoy. I love swimming in the ocean. This was pretty shallow, and they had black metal lumps in the water that were pretty unsightly. The loungers are also kept pretty far back. It would have been nice if they were closer to the water. Our first time to Mexico and El Dorado Maroma exceeded our expectations! The property was quiet, clean, and staff was very nice and professional. The beach was nicest beach we've ever been on. Sand is really soft. Lots of activities if you choose. Room was very spacious and clean. We loved Papitos! Stay here if you can as you won't regret it. We will be back!

The friendliness and service is top notch. The food is gourmet and very accommodating of dietary restrictions. The interior of the rooms is somewhat dated. The bed mattresses tends to sag in the middle. The quality of the beach is excellent, soft sand and warm water.

EDM was amazing!!! ALL staff were attentive and helpful from the time we arrived to the time we left. I had so much enjoying the amenities. The beach, the swim-up pool bar, and the entertainment at Rick’s. I visited with a group and we enjoyed everything. I upgraded from a private pool suite to a swim-up suite. The bathroom with the toilet room needs some updating, but besides that, everything else looks great. I also would love if they upgraded the food options. Some restaurants were, some were closed, some served different items on different days. I think something consistent at each restaurant with different options would be great. I will definitely visit again and recommend.

Took my mom here for her 60th birthday for a mother-daughter trip. This resort is a smaller boutique-like resort right on the beach. Overall this was a spectacular experience. There were a few hiccups like the jacuzzi tub not working in our room but after letting the staff know they sent someone to fix it. The food is amazing! What makes this place wonderful is the friendly staff. There is not really any night life or late-night entertainment or shows here but this is more a place to relax. The beach is definitely the most beautiful in Mexico and there is wait-staff on the beach to serve drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed this place but this place is definitely a place of rest and relaxation and not a place to come for a party. 10/10 would come back!

We had an amazing vacation at El Dorado Maroma. The resort far exceeded our expectations. Lomas Hospitality was there to pick us up at the airport and got us to the resort without any issue. We were fortunate that we were to only ones in our shuttle going to the resort and going back to the airport. The staff were all so wonderful. Carlos at Lima Limon was there every morning to greet us for breakfast. What a special person! Carlos and Karen at Bar "24" knew exactly what we wanted. Rene was always there when we needed a drink on the beach then he was there at the restaurants at night still taking care of everyone. Bladimir and Juan were always attentive at lunch at Papitos. Marlene at Mio was super sweet taking care of us at dinner. I also want to give a big thank you to Fernanda. She was the hostess at Papitos and also at Lima Limon. She remembered our room number after the first day. There were many others that were so special. The food was exceptional. Definitely gourmet and so delicious. We also did a couples massage at Naay Spa. It was a nice experience. Everything as so clean too. Our room was made up daily with fresh towels. Then when we departed and arrived at the airport Lomas Hospitality walked us in the airport and got us checked in and made sure that there wasn't anything else that they could do for us. What a wonderful experience. We will be back for sure. I would highly recommend this property.

Overall, the place is lovely. Exceptional service whereever we went. We had delicious food in the restaurants, with care about allergens and our food preferences clear. Generally low crowd level made the experience exceptional, just what we were looking for.

El servicio en los restaurantes no es lo que se espera para la calificación que tiene no llega ni al 9, muy poco personal en los restaurantes en el área de playa y alberca muy poca atención, muy decepcionado por la calificación y la atención del personal es normal pero muy poca gente para atender, muy decepcionado.

as a female solo traveler, safety is paramount, and i never felt so safe while on vacation as i did here. the place is amazing. the bathrooms smell delicious. the restaurants offer delicious options and cater to any allergies or preferences you might have. be sure to book the specialty restaurants for suppers. the theme nights they offer once a week are quite the experience ( i only go to do the mexican night but thoroughly enjoyed it). the staff are very attentive- at the beach, in the restaurants, at the pools, everywhere you go. I've never felt so pampered from the time i arrived to the time i left. lots of activities to do each day from dancing lessons, to mini individual spanish lessons on the beach, arts and crafts, cooking lessons, beach and pool volleyball, etc and those are only the ones that i was informed about from roaming staff. the fact that it is only for 18 and over is so refreshing. do the on site excursions *based next door like the catamaran snorkling trip, camel ride, etc) or go off site for the cenote and cave trip for even more fun. if i would have had more days i would have done every offered excursion. the transportation, cleaning staff, bar tenders, pool cleaners, medics, life guards, bell boys, beach attendants, spa staff, restaurant staff, personal concierge, check in staff deserve much credit for making their clients enjoy the vacation even more memorable. everyone was so helpful and friendly. you wont go wrong choosing to book this property.

This resort truly surprised us. First off I would like to say that we stayed at the Mi Hotelito room. I heard they have been the most recently renovated. It was a beautiful room that felt like a tropical getaway. The location was prime! That was our favorite part. We loved hanging out on our little patio and still received butler service there. Service everywhere was outstanding. Staff were always very happy to help. The food was the best we've had at an all-inclusive. It's a smaller resort and no buffet, so everything is cooked fresh. We usually get tired of the food by the end but not here. Chips and salsas to begin most meals. There are lots of Mexican options on the menu. We once went to a resort in Mexico with no Mexican restaurant, and it was so disappointing. El dorado maroma felt very Mexican and not just like an American resort in Mexico. We loved all the Mexican touches here. We wish they would do away with needing reservations at the restaurants. Felt very unnecessary. The beach was beautiful, but I will admit it's not exactly the type of beach I enjoy. I love swimming in the ocean. This was pretty shallow, and they had black metal lumps in the water that were pretty unsightly. The loungers are also kept pretty far back. It would have been nice if they were closer to the water. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The paddleboarding and kayaks were free and made the ocean very enjoyable. There was never a wait to use them. While paddleboarding, I saw starfish, a sting

Our first time to Mexico and El Dorado Maroma exceeded our expectations! The property was quiet, clean, and staff was very nice and professional. The beach was nicest beach we've ever been on. Sand is really soft. Lots of activities if you choose. Room was very spacious and clean. We loved Papitos! Stay here if you can as you won't regret it. We will be back!

This is a great, little resort. The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair. My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud. The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The grounds at the resort are immaculate. The staff members at the bars, the beach and the restaurants were all amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet laid back vibe, this is your place.

If you want a quiet quaint place to go, this is it! The staff was amazing. They always went out of the way to ensure you were having a great time and had everything you need. The beach was amazing, cleaned every morning and almost all day long. Everything was tremendous!!

Took my mom here for her 60th birthday for a mother-daughter trip. This resort is a smaller boutique-like resort right on the beach. Overall this was a spectacular experience. There were a few hiccups like the jacuzzi tub not working in our room but after letting the staff know they sent someone to fix it. The food is amazing! What makes this place wonderful is the friendly staff. There is not really any night life or late-night entertainment or shows here but this is more a place to relax. The beach is definitely the most beautiful in Mexico and there is wait-staff on the beach to serve drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed this place but this place is definitely a place of rest and relaxation and not a place to come for a party. 10/10 would come back!

We had an amazing vacation at El Dorado Maroma. The resort far exceeded our expectations. Lomas Hospitality was there to pick us up at the airport and got us to the resort without any issue. We were fortunate that we were to only ones in our shuttle going to the resort and going back to the airport. The staff were all so wonderful. Carlos at Lima Limon was there every morning to greet us for breakfast. What a special person! Carlos and Karen at Bar "24" knew exactly what we wanted. Rene was always there when we needed a drink on the beach then he was there at the restaurants at night still taking care of everyone. Bladimir and Juan were always attentive at lunch at Papitos. Marlene at Mio was super sweet taking care of us at dinner. I also want to give a big thank you to Fernanda. She was the hostess at Papitos and also at Lima Limon. She remembered our room number after the first day. There were many others that were so special. The food was exceptional. Definitely gourmet and so delicious. We also did a couples massage at Naay Spa. It was a nice experience. Everything as so clean too. Our room was made up daily with fresh towels. Then when we departed and arrived at the airport Lomas Hospitality walked us in the airport and got us checked in and made sure that there wasn't anything else that they could do for us. What a wonderful experience. We will be back for sure. I would highly recommend this property.

Overall, the place is lovely. Exceptional service whereever we went. We had delicious food in the restaurants, with care about allergens and our food preferences clear. Generally low crowd level made the experience exceptional, just what we were looking for.

as a female solo traveler, safety is paramount, and i never felt so safe while on vacation as i did here. the place is amazing. the bathrooms smell delicious. the restaurants offer delicious options and cater to any allergies or preferences you might have. be sure to book the specialty restaurants for suppers. the theme nights they offer once a week are quite the experience ( i only go to do the mexican night but thoroughly enjoyed it). the staff are very attentive- at the beach, in the restaurants, at the pools, everywhere you go. I've never felt so pampered from the time i arrived to the time i left. lots of activities to do each day from dancing lessons, to mini individual spanish lessons on the beach, arts and crafts, cooking lessons, beach and pool volleyball, etc and those are only the ones that i was informed about from roaming staff. the fact that it is only for 18 and over is so refreshing. do the on site excursions *based next door like the catamaran snorkling trip, camel ride, etc) or go off site for the cenote and cave trip for even more fun. if i would have had more days i would have done every offered excursion. the transportation, cleaning staff, bar tenders, pool cleaners, medics, life guards, bell boys, beach attendants, spa staff, restaurant staff, personal concierge, check in staff deserve much credit for making their clients enjoy the vacation even more memorable. everyone was so helpful and friendly. you wont go wrong choosing to book this property.

Food was horrible. Pretending to be gourmet restaurant with cheap Chinese food served as Asian fusion.Christmas dinner was pathetic. Beach is nice but you have to tip for towels. For chairs, for a cup of water . They said is all inclusive but you have to tip for towels in the room.for coffee pods For room breakfast , for dinner , for lunch. No buffet available even they states on Expedia there is buffet.

EDM was amazing!!! ALL staff were attentive and helpful from the time we arrived to the time we left. I had so much enjoying the amenities. The beach, the swim-up pool bar, and the entertainment at Rick’s. I visited with a group and we enjoyed everything. I upgraded from a private pool suite to a swim-up suite. The bathroom with the toilet room needs some updating, but besides that, everything else looks great. I also would love if they upgraded the food options. Some restaurants were, some were closed, some served different items on different days. I think something consistent at each restaurant with different options would be great. I will definitely visit again and recommend.

Beautiful property, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms. We had an amazing experience at El Dorado Maroma. The property was gorgeous- well maintained and so many beautiful plants and flowers. The staff was so helpful and kind and most of them spoke English well which we really appreciated. The restaurants were all al a carte- so you order off a menu instead of a buffet. This makes meals move a bit slower but that forces you to relax and take in the scenery. The restaurant staff were all extremely careful about food allergies. Several pools, two of which had swim up bars. Their “more inclusive” plan means our transportation to and from the airport was included as well as a trip to a ranch with a cenote. They also include a catamaran snorkeling trip and day trip to a water park which we did not do. Some of these “extras” were only offered on certain days so I recommend staying a full week to take advantage of all they offer. We also enjoyed live music by the pool, daily crafts and a fire show in the beach. The beach- beautiful soft white sand and plenty of comfortable cabanas and lounge chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately there was TONS of seaweed on the beach. Apparently it was the season for it and this is a problem in all of riviera maya and Cancun area. The staff worked hard every morning to clear as much as they could. Overall a great experience- would definitely return!

The food was great, for sure get the pizza and tacos during lunch! All the activities included with “More Inclusive” were so fun and saved a lot of money. The entertainment team was fun, they had activities all day to participate in. The resort never felt too crowded, which we loved! Would 100% go back!

Words cannot describe how amazing this resort was. From the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff, especially Carlos during breakfast time. To the cleanliness of the whole entire area. There’s hard working people here maintaining the area, making sure it looks amazing! Every person behind the bars were so sweet and put love into each drink. Each meal was so fresh and made to perfection. Our house keeper Itzel made sure the room was clean and freshened up after our day at the beach. I will absolutely return and will recommend!
