Cleanliness and comfort ranked very high here. We very much enjoyed the comfortable, large king bed and the cushy living room sofa. The unit was the size of a small apartment with large rooms having lots of windows and light including a large balcony with chairs - views of green leafy trees from some windows and town views from others (such as a parking lot etc. but expected being in downtown). It has a kitchen with all of the standard large and basic small appliances and all were clean and in working order. If you don’t want or need to cook in the kitchen, there are a couple of eateries within close walking distance with others at further walking/driving distances. During our two night mid week stay it was very quiet even though the Inn is off of a very busy local street. This property looks to be well used over many years and is kept to a relatively high standard of cleanliness and comfort. We had never used this type of remote check in/keyless service but it worked very well. At one point, I had to contact the Inn via phone and was able to speak with someone right away. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

The pros are clean, lots of space and a full kitchen and balcony for the same price or better than hotel room. Very easy and secure access. Cons-no office on site. There were 3 of us, but found only 2 sets of towels (online claimed extra under sink, but we borrowed from a family member in the area). Also, no bedding for pull out couch. We didn't bother trying to call the number, so someone may have been able to bring these, if we asked.

The Central Downtown Inn & Suites has no front desk so make sure you contact the number on your reservation prior if you have any questions. Carmen was very helpful and the check in instructions were send by text message when the room was ready. It was clear and easy. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Centrally located, free parking, free working wifi and spacious.

We would absolutely stay here again! We tend to make food or have food in when we are away and having such a lovely sweet for an affordable price made this vacation possible. It's well maintained, clean, easy to park and we had no problem with neighbors while there.

This hotel was so clean!!! Check in was incredibly easy. Beds were very comfortable- plenty of blankets and pillows. Kitchen was stocked with glasses, dishes , and silverware. Walking distance to many restaurants. We will be back in the winter!

This is a very large suite with seperate bedroom, bathroom and a livingroom/diningroom/kitchen area. Bed was clean and comfortable. Everything was clean, and everything was in good working order. Quite pleased with it and we may come back next year!

I found the rooms unacceptable. 1st room had wrong number of beds. 2nd room offered was on second floor with no elevator(we had lots of luggage), 3rd room had such a strong odor of cleaning chemicals and old rug that I could not stay in the room after a few minutes. I chose not to stay at the Inn. I found a different hotel knowing I was probably loosing my money. My sister and I found the rooms in need of updating. While it offered a comfortable space for the cost. The staff offered other rooms, but each one had the same strong cleaning odor mixed with old carpet smell that was intense.

This was a great place. It was clean and spacious and the staff was very attentive. It could use a little updating but we had everything we needed. We spent a week in our hometown and this apartment was very comfortable for entertaining a few friends too.

Although the room was clean, the smell of the cleanser was strong and unpleasant. Staff could pay more attention to amenities. For example, the coffee pot had the grounds from previous usage, there were packets for only decaf and the shower had 3 bottles of lotion instead of shampoo and conditioner. The staff was quick to bring replacements, but brought coffee pods even though there was no keurig!

Amazingly clean. I used to travel for business and have been around the country and I have to say this was one of the cleanest accommodations I have been to. However, it did have a "pet" smell. I have many pets so I wasnt put off by it, but someone else may be. My only comment would be to add a full length mirror, perhaps on the back of the bedroom door and maybe some salt/pepper packets for convenience. If I need to visit Pittsfield area again, i know where to stay. Thank you to Carmen and her staff!

The suite we stayed in was spacious. Maid service is only once weekly, but when we contacted them about getting additional toilet paper, they were very responsive. The queen bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We were not able to get the TV in the bedroom to work. The sofa queen bed in the living room was all broken down. My husband had to put boards under the mattress to support it enough so he could use the bed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked.

This was a perfect no fuss property in the denser business area of Pittsfield. I suggest this area over the residential areas. Room was really great. There is a separate bedroom with it's own tv. The furniture and bed are not the newest or most luxurious, but they are comfortable. Stayed comfortably for 3 nights to attend Tanglewood shows. Self-check in was easy and great for people who are coming in after doing a lot of things on the trip in. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived at 6:30 pm, there were no on-site staff to let us into our unit. We tried calling the property and Expedia to get help. Nobody answered the phone. We called the police to see if they could help. They could not. We finally found someone coming out of one of the buildings. He told us that we were suppose to get a text two hours before arrival with codes to get into the building and codes to get into our room and codes to get into WIFI. We got no text. We called the number where he received his codes and they were able to give us the codes. The room was old -- the floors squeaked wherever you walked -- the couch felt like it had been made in the 1800s -- the staff changed the codes the day before we left requiring us to call for the new codes.

From check-in to check- out our stay here was fantastic! The manager, Carmen, made the experience easy and seamless. This was my boyfriend and my first attempt at traveling with the 6 year old dog we rescued last year. Our friends recommended this location because the rooms are clean, spacious and close to downtown Pittsfield. The attention to detail was obvious from the start and so refreshing! This will be our go-to place to stay when we just need some New England air to recharge our Jersey batteries!

I made an unfavorable post earlier because there were so many things, but I did change rooms once I got there and the 2nd room was not ready. I talked to the staff and everything was fixed immediately and I would definitely recommend staying at this place. They are kind, courteous and very close to so many things. The price is very good to. You will find yourself very comfortable here.

The suite we stayed in was beautiful, and it was available at a great price. It was clean, well maintained, and well furnished. I was very surprised at how big the space was. It was also in a great location in Pittsfield; it was very near to local theaters and restaurants. If it is available next time we are in Pittsfield, I will definitely stay here.
