First of all there is no elevator. I had to lug 3 large suitcase up the stairs. The staff cleans everyday it’s pretty clean. There are multiple issues at this hotel that I did not like. The room was 91 dollars a night. The rooms on the other side of the highway are around the same price with all the amenities. The country inn across the highway was better. Security….people would leave rocks in every exit so anyone could walk in a cause trouble. The breakfast was basically bagels, cereal and coffee. People were walking around barefoot. People were letting dogs run free off leases in the hotel. I think this place is a place where locals live. I wouldn’t stay here again there a several hotels in the area that are better for around the same price or less.

Stay away. Smell of weed in hallways, side doors propped open. I put chair at door and towel to block gap at bottom of door. Sketchy area and people hanging out in entryway. No breakfast except 2 cereal and muffins at 7am. Pick another roadside spot to stop. Felt very unsafe!

The place was fine, but very old and the hallways smelled. There is no elevator for the second floor, gotta lug the heavy suitcase up the stairs. Don’t count on anything fresh for breakfast, just toast, fruit loops, and package muffins.

There was a group of construction workers that kept the fire door propped open and when we told the front desk, they asked us to close it. Shortly thereafter, the door was propped open and remained open for our 2 night stay. It consistently smelled like weed. The drain in the bathtub was so clogged that the housekeepers had used a piece off of the plug to hold the plug open just so the water could (very poorly) drain. The free breakfast was some slices of white bread, jelly, apples, and packaged danishes. Not what I was expecting but for someone who’s starving (not us, we passed) I guess it would keep them alive.

Clean room, clean bathroom, smelled very nice, housekeeping was pleasantly sweet and carried out given requests. No pool, no exercise room, no hot breakfast. Very cooperative staff and helpful.

This was one of the worst hotel stays. I’ve had the room was filthy and poorly maintained. I found two roaches. There was a sticky substance smeared on the ceiling, no hot water and the tub, barely drained. Clearly, basic cleanliness and upkeep are not a priority here. On top of that, the noise in the hallway around 2:30 AM and dogs barking made it impossible to get any rest. It felt more like a chaotic apartment building than a hotel. The only saving grace was the polite staff, and the beds were clean, but that’s where the positives end. I would strongly advise management to address these serious issues and until they do, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! First room the bathroom sink had shaved hair all over it, the shower was extremely dirty, and it didn’t drain. The second room they moved us into was worse. No smoke detector, toothpaste in the sink, shower was dirty, and the trash was full. The most disgusting thing was pee in the toilet! I complained and wanted my money back to go to another hotel and they wouldn’t accommodate me. I am reporting this hotel to OSHA. Don’t stay!

When we arrived, the facility was a little run down but was expected for the price. We had to wait for about my 15 minutes before receiving our room because the front desk person said there was an issue with their system. When we arrived in our room, there were dozens of small bugs crawling on the floor by the door. Walking into the room, there were HUNDREDS OF BUGS on the walls, bed, dresser.... It was the most disgusting experience imI ever encountered. The front desk person did not seem shocked when I told her of our rooms status and issues me a refund without even checking the room or offering me an alternative room. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never had an experience like this before.

There was mold and mildew in the bathroom where a previous leak was plastered. The walls are extremely worn and water leak is visible. The rooms are NOT cleaned appropriately. I found coffee stains on the wall, an eyelash on the pillow and stains on the pillow. In the bathroom their was melted soap in the bathtub and make up on the shower curtain.

The room looked clean upon entering and we left to the store and came back. When we started to look around we realized the floor was dirty with food crumbs and hair. The one bed had an actual toenail on it. The chair was full of crumbs. The toilet and sink also not clean to standard. We had to stay anyway it was late. The one bed seemed clean. The front desk was nice I showed her pictures. She apologized. The breakfast was just drinks and cereal or toast/bagel and cream cheese or butter and jelly. That’s all.

It took 4 rooms to get one that i could sleep in. First room refrigerator didn't work and was full of black mold. Second room had no black out curtains window was facing parking lot wife couldn't change in the room and the smoke detector was ripped off the wall. Third room had no air-conditioning that worked. Fourth room, well we were able to sleep with out sweating to death. The girl in charge laughed every time I brought something to her attention. The whole hotel smelling like a Marijuana factory and a dog kennel.

The employee who checked me in extremely quick. The room itself was really nice, but it's age was showing. Marks/scratches on the wall near the door. The bathtub looked like it had to be resealed and was coming apart. I could look over these things, but having doors slamming all night long was a huge issue. It sounded like someone was trying to break in, that's how loud the doors slamming were.

Worse experience ever. I came in and the lady at the reception was just in the phone the entire time. While she was talking on the phone she handed me a key never saying anything else to me. The room was dirty, and the TV was on the trash was full…. She then told me o no they never cleaned the room and they don’t have any other rooms. So I had to get a much more expensive hotel last minute

Arrived early and they allowed my son and I to check in. We were here for a baseball tournament. They also gave us a late check out as our Sunday games didn’t start until 3 so they allowed us to check out an hour later. Really nice staff and very helpful.

Front desk told me that my reservation was cancelled, even though i confirmed the reservation weeks beforehand. Hotel was at capacity, so manager only offered to call another place that was 20 miles away to get us a room there. I politely declined since I felt that this place may have canceled me due to my late arrival and gave my room to someone else, but i notified the hotel in advance of my late arrival and they told me it would be fine. I will not be staying at another one of these hotels due to this incident, and I hope expedia investigates what happened so nobody else has to scramble for a room like we had to.

Overall, a nice place--if you are looking for a restful night, at a well-kept place, you will not be disappointed. There are a lot of reliable shops in driving/walking distance (e.g., Target, Kroger, Ross, etc.) Honestly, the uncooperative nature of front desk staff was the most challenging part of the stay.

The computers at the front desk are slow so it takes forever to check in. There’s no iron in the room to straighten out clothes, there’s no hot water in the bathroom, just lukewarm. The most ridiculous thing is there’s no front desk attendant from 6:30 am to 7:30 am for 3 consecutive days, so nobody to help you out in case of an emergency. Totally unacceptable

Easy off I95 easy on I95, Starbucks nearby. Staff was asleep when we arrived for check in at 4pm. Had to knock on office door to find him. Woke him up.

The location was perfect, close to many restaurants and shopping. Very convenient location to downtown Richmond, yet outside the busier area. Not the easiest to get to, had to make a u-turn from getting off I-95.

I didn't stay after all. When we turned off the street onto the shared driveway with Hooters, we realized that the tools we needed to leave in the car wouldn't be safe in the unsecured parking lot with a bunch of drunk, sexed-up partiers roaming around at 2am. Then there's the traffic noise. There were also men loitering outside, smoking, laying in their car with their feet hanging out the door. It just seemed odd that they were hanging out in the parking lot, if they were renting rooms inside. I got the feeling they may be living there, or conducting business in the parking. The hotel looks fine, generally, but we couldn't risk.

Surprisingly good condition facility for a budget hotel. It was a little hard to find but had fast food and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Surprisingly quiet for such a busy area. Breakfast choices were weak. Police came in to speak with some guests as I was checking in so that put me on the defensive, but by the time ingot to my room, I felt safe.

Area is near shopping outlets so walking the dog was do-able even in the dark. Area was safe and well maintained. There was a faint smell of marijuana in the hallway and my room did smell strongly of mold I couldn't see but after a while I got used to the scent. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room was also neat and clean. Overall, I would stay again for the price. I wish the windows could open though to air out whatever moldy smell was lingering. The hallways could probably use an air purifier for rude guests that think smoking indoors is ok.

My room was near a door I could here everytime someone open or closed the door which was frequently. The breakfast was not that great. I had better continental breakfast. Other wished the stay was good. which was frequently .

Stay was great. Room was clean. But the continental breakfast was far from continental. We got there one hour into service and they had barely any coffee, juice machine turned off. The only food avaiable was white bread, butter, cream cheese and corn flakes. I was not expecting surf and turf but a continental breakfast should have at least some sort of protein and a few options for carbs (bagels, muffins, etc) very disappointing
