Nice, clean, but living area on the same sleeping room is difficult to do anything. There is only one small shower and sink for all of us. Also it’s situated on top of the hill, and there is a place where 26 Christians were executed in front of the hostel. We can see the all view from the window, no escape. I was scared,

The hosts, Nana, and his wife were great. Another staff Miva, was super lovely. It's a good place for a solo traveler or couple to stay. It was convenient to walk to the train station, bus station, and many other dining places. I also had a good time talking to other guests. You get a private room though it is tiny. You can lock the door and go. I would stay again!

Shingo and nana, who own and operate the cafe and hostel, are genuine community builders. When you stay at ROUTE, you become a part of their community. If you don't know what that means, they will teach you :) prepare for a beautiful and caring experience in their property and in Nagasaki, with their guidance.

One of my favorite hostels Ive stayed in Japan! You stay right above their cafe, which is very close to Nagasaki Station.

Twenty-Six Martyrs Museum and Monument and Oka Masaharu Memorial Nagasaki Peace Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Nagasaki Dejima and Megane Bridge. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Peace Stadium Connected by SoftBank or Moriyama Sports Community Square. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain climbing nearby.
