The spa was amazing, the waiting area is cozy, room is enormous with excellent windows. Our massage therapists are top-notch, courteous and professional. I highly recommend FLC Spa.

The buffet was great, but the room was moldy, and we had to request a room change. We had two rooms in total, and the lock on the second room’s door was broken—it was never fixed. Be aware that you cannot bring food or drinks into your room, and if you’re caught, there’s a $200 USD fine. This means bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited, which is ridiculous considering we’re paying to stay at a resort, not a prison. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is in serious need of maintenance. It also looks like half of it is still under construction. We stayed in the “Luxury Tower,” but the only luxury aspect was the balcony view of the beach. If you’re expecting a five-star experience, lower your expectations to a 2-3 star level, and you’ll be fine. Good luck!

The amenities that were advertised, such as certain pools and bars, were shut down during our stay. The photos on their website were misleading, and it felt like bait-and-switch. The staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. When we asked for water, they refused to provide it. The room was worn down, with sticky floors and a general feeling of neglect. The resort itself felt like a ghost town, with very few guests and a lack of atmosphere.
