Excellent directions to find the place and the door. Reasonable instructions for staying (removing outdoor shoes upon entering to protect floors). Rooms were well lit, comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. We greatly enjoyed sitting outside or inside with the doors open. They provided a kettle, expresso machine (we did not use so can't review specifically), and keurig. Microwave and small fridge were nice too. Extra towels were provided, along with cleaning supplies which we greatly appreciated. Would love to stay again. However, VRBO messed up the merger with Hotels.com so I'll be deleting this account and using the other one that was created. so when we stay again, it will be under a different VRBO account. This is one property I am saving on the new account.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was so fun to relax in the morning with the firepit and watch the boats and wildlife. Orcas and dolphins were spotted in the sound. Would definitely come again!!

Very clear directions and instructions from owner. Daily check-in by email to make sure it was all good. Loved the oceanview hot tub and the bedroom. Used the fan at night was very quiet. Would go back in a minute. Thanks for being such a great host.

This property was just perfect for my husband and I. We picked it for the price and beautiful view. We throughly enjoyed sitting outside looking at the sound while using the firepit and/or hot tub. This was so relaxing and perfect start and end to our days here. Our high light was seeing dolphins swimming in the sound. There is a telescope here we were able to use to get a perfect view of them!! This neighborhood is super quiet which was really nice. We planned on going out to eat our meals so the amenities provided here were perfect for us. Richard and Ruth were super quick to get back to us if we had any questions and were very welcoming. Their house is attached but we honestly couldn't even tell they were here. We had a great time here and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much.

The pics and descriptions were perfect. Sometimes places aren’t exactly as you see them in the pics and there is a not so great surprise. Not this place. Everything was perfect and beautiful. It wasn’t crowded w signs of ”don’t do this”, and the very little signage they did have was professionally and custom made, which added to my appeal of the place. The art was true art and not some cheap crap. They had personal touches everywhere. In the mornings I’d make my coffee, open the double doors and stare at the water. The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use, while the robes made me feel very cozy. The communication was impeccable. They provided tons of ideas for things to do and eat. Wally’s Chowder House…. Is a must do. I asked about a trip to Bainbridge and they quickly provided tons of info.

The property is very nice. There was no propane for the fire pit or BBQ. The hot tub had way too much chlorine, it burned our eyes. The telescope was upside down as well, my husband turned it around.

The property is very serene. The use of a private firepit and hot tub is super special. There are thoughtful extras, including a sound machine for sound sleep, two coffee makers, and trash & recycling options. It was very quick and easy to get to Seattle without staying in Seattle. We highly recommend the waterview suite.

We choose this place for the location being close to the airport. The extra bonus is in the place itself with view of the sound in a neat neighborhood perched on the shores. This is not a quiet place with it being in the glide slope of SeaTac. It seemed the busiest times were early in the morning and about 9 in the evening. The place was very clean a full of supplies. There's a Trader Joes a couple of miles away so we bought drinks and a couple of microwave dinners. The owners would kind enough to bake a batch of croissants that we had purchased at TJs as there is no oven. Overall a very nice place to stay while in the area!

This place was amazing! The inside was super cute and it also had a great backyard and view with your own private hotub. We had everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and all the necessities in the bathroom as well. The Host was so sweet and very easy to communicate with. 10/10 would recommend!

Home was easy to locate and in very nice neighborhood. Access was easy and was clean and comfortable. Was the right size for two and had what we needed for a three day stay! Pretty view and could watch otters and seals out in the bay. Thanks!

Such a lovely spot—peaceful, well-kept, and thoughtfully set up. It’s clear Ruth and Rich put a lot of care into making it a great experience and the process was easy from start to finish. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Would absolutely come again!

My husband and I enjoyed our relaxed stay. The airplane noise from SeaTac Airport was noticeable because we are not used to it where we live - it did not interfere with our sleep. We enjoyed watching the porpoises through our binoculars in the morning. We were very comfortable and communication with our host was great. We appreciated the wine and yummy chocolate!

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Ruth made sure communication was smooth and sent us recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc. The location is beautiful and quiet except for the airplanes going over. Didn't bother us at night to sleep, but as suggested we had the doors open in the evening to cool things down since there is no air conditioner. So every time a plane went over it was loud. With the doors closed it wasn't an issue. The location is not far from the freeway and/or getting into Seattle for touristy stuff. There aren't a lot of restaurant options nearby - have to go about 5 miles to find more than a couple. But there is a Safeway about 2-3 miles away. And that's the whole point of staying here - it's NOT in the city. But you need to plan in advance that it's NOT in the city. With the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc it's not hard, just need to be aware. IT'S WORTH IT, but that's the reason I gave a 4 for location. Internet was great if you need to work. Owners were responsive to our requests and we barely even knew they were on the property at all. If we needed something they would drop it off on the porch and text that it was there. Would recommend.

I stayed for 2 nights. The unit was comfortable and nicely appointed. I didn't use any of the outdoor amenities or cook, so I can't comment on those aspects. The view is gorgeous. There was some airplane noise as another guest commented, but it didn't bother me. Great communication by the hosts. I really appreciated the outdoor lights, since I arrived each night after dark.

They were kind, attentive, quick to reply, gracious. I was floored that when I told them i was Lowcarb/Keto, that they left me a bowl full of snacks I could ACTUALLY eat. Small touches mean everything. Will definitely be back here when I return in the spring/Summer. Thank you for your hospitality :) PNW is amazing, even in the winter

This property was just perfect for my husband and I. We picked it for the price and beautiful view. We throughly enjoyed sitting outside looking at the sound while using the firepit and/or hot tub. This was so relaxing and perfect start and end to our days here. Our high light was seeing dolphins swimming in the sound. There is a telescope here we were able to use to get a perfect view of them!! This neighborhood is super quiet which was really nice. We planned on going out to eat our meals so the amenities provided here were perfect for us. Richard and Ruth were super quick to get back to us if we had any questions and were very welcoming. Their house is attached but we honestly couldn't even tell they were here. We had a great time here and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much.

The pics and descriptions were perfect. Sometimes places aren’t exactly as you see them in the pics and there is a not so great surprise. Not this place. Everything was perfect and beautiful. It wasn’t crowded w signs of ”don’t do this”, and the very little signage they did have was professionally and custom made, which added to my appeal of the place. The art was true art and not some cheap crap. They had personal touches everywhere. In the mornings I’d make my coffee, open the double doors and stare at the water. The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use, while the robes made me feel very cozy. The communication was impeccable. They provided tons of ideas for things to do and eat. Wally’s Chowder House…. Is a must do. I asked about a trip to Bainbridge and they quickly provided tons of info.

Such a lovely spot—peaceful, well-kept, and thoughtfully set up. It’s clear Ruth and Rich put a lot of care into making it a great experience and the process was easy from start to finish. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Would absolutely come again!

My husband and I loved our stay at this property. The view is amazing, the home is very comfortable and beautiful with thoughtful touches everywhere. We did not use any of the cooking appliances but did see a lot of items available. We appreciated the wine and chocolate! Communication with Ruth was smooth. She was very responsive and worked with us as we had to change the trip dates a couple of times! We would definitely stay again!!!

We stayed the weekend before our cruise departed to allow for adjusting to new time zone and to see the area outside of downtown Seattle. The space was exactly as the ad described, peaceful, quiet, and convenient. Our first time staying in a room attached to someone’s house. We never heard or saw the hosts, but she always answered any texts we sent. Until next time!

This place was amazing! The inside was super cute and it also had a great backyard and view with your own private hotub. We had everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and all the necessities in the bathroom as well. The Host was so sweet and very easy to communicate with. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our relaxed stay. The airplane noise from SeaTac Airport was noticeable because we are not used to it where we live - it did not interfere with our sleep. We enjoyed watching the porpoises through our binoculars in the morning. We were very comfortable and communication with our host was great. We appreciated the wine and yummy chocolate!

The property was beautiful. Our stay was wonderful. Ruth was so responsive when we were looking for dinner recommendations. Getting to Seattle and all the sites around the area was very convenient.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Ruth made sure communication was smooth and sent us recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc. The location is beautiful and quiet except for the airplanes going over. Didn't bother us at night to sleep, but as suggested we had the doors open in the evening to cool things down since there is no air conditioner. So every time a plane went over it was loud. With the doors closed it wasn't an issue. The location is not far from the freeway and/or getting into Seattle for touristy stuff. There aren't a lot of restaurant options nearby - have to go about 5 miles to find more than a couple. But there is a Safeway about 2-3 miles away. And that's the whole point of staying here - it's NOT in the city. But you need to plan in advance that it's NOT in the city. With the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc it's not hard, just need to be aware. IT'S WORTH IT, but that's the reason I gave a 4 for location. Internet was great if you need to work. Owners were responsive to our requests and we barely even knew they were on the property at all. If we needed something they would drop it off on the porch and text that it was there. Would recommend.

Home was easy to locate and in very nice neighborhood. Access was easy and was clean and comfortable. Was the right size for two and had what we needed for a three day stay! Pretty view and could watch otters and seals out in the bay. Thanks!

The property is very serene. The use of a private firepit and hot tub is super special. There are thoughtful extras, including a sound machine for sound sleep, two coffee makers, and trash & recycling options. It was very quick and easy to get to Seattle without staying in Seattle. We highly recommend the waterview suite.

We choose this place for the location being close to the airport. The extra bonus is in the place itself with view of the sound in a neat neighborhood perched on the shores. This is not a quiet place with it being in the glide slope of SeaTac. It seemed the busiest times were early in the morning and about 9 in the evening. The place was very clean a full of supplies. There's a Trader Joes a couple of miles away so we bought drinks and a couple of microwave dinners. The owners would kind enough to bake a batch of croissants that we had purchased at TJs as there is no oven. Overall a very nice place to stay while in the area!

The pictures certainly don’t do this beautiful place justice!! As you walk in this unit, you are greeted by a welcoming “treat”…did I tell you I was a chocoholic?! Great stay, everything was as the listing said. Bed was comfortable, hot water came quickly, plenty of towels, and the hot tub was close to the door so you don't have to go far when getting out.
