Great location walking distance to Westfield with many dining options and easy access to motorway for business meetings. Rooms are always nice comfortable and clean. Only annoying was $30 to park your car outside in an open area that everyone has access to.

What a lovely place - I was in town for the Women's World Cup and the Ramada by Wyndham Newmarket Aukland was a perfect place to stay! My room was lovely - had queen bed and twin along with a kitchen and eating area. Bonus was the washer/dryer which I was happy to use! Loved the specialty coffee maker in the lobby and fresh apples - great way to start my day.

We stayed 10 days here for the Global Youth 7s Rugby Tournament. The gym is not onsite and you have to pay a fee to access it. The pool is also not on site and requires another fee to access. For the price we paid for the room I was disappointed that there was another fee to access these amenities. It is walkable to the train station and the Mall which has a grocery store and pharmacy. The breakfast is pricey so we opted to get groceries at the Woolworths and make our own. We felt safe walking in the area. Overall the hotel was clean. There were certain areas in the room we felt could have been cleaned better. We could see the wipe marks on the cupboards and there were dust bunnies in the bathroom upon checkin. At the end of the day the room is what we needed for the time we spent in Auckland. We would stay again. The staff was lovely to deal with. They lent us an umbrella for a few days it was rainy.

There needs to be better cleaning done. As you walk in you can see so many finger marks from opening and closing and a single swipe done with a cloth over the top. There are many marks from wear and tear but many would come up if cleaned. The table outside was dirty and at the sliding door on the wall there are many marks of multiple different liquids on the walls. I hate to be so picky but when you pay so much money you would expect not to see visible dirt marks.

The hotel was really close to all the wonderfull shops of Newmarket. I thought the Car parking was too expensive 30 dollars per day. On top of the room rate 222 per night plus a bond for the room, it was really overpriced for an average hotel room. Also the drains smelt really bad.

2 bedroom suite was lovely - great location, great views of the harbour and harbour bridge from the balcony (level 6). Aircon only in the living room meant that the bedrooms were a little too warm throughout the stay.

The property was clean and comfortable, but the room photos are very misleading. The room is *really* compact! Our room did not even match the photos - a whole corner was missing due to the design of the building, and so there wasn't even enough room to move around the bed as it was right up against the window. Thankfully we were only there for 1 night - we wouldn't have wanted to stay more than that in such a small room.

Great location and clean hotel. Stayed in compact, motorway facing-room. Motorway wasn’t a problem, but compact really does mean compact. Room is fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend the compact rooms for anyone staying any longer.

I always enjoy staying here however this time, found the person on reception to be quite rude. He was super rushed in how he checked me in and despite that I have stayed there in the last month and used the carpark before, it was only once (I'm guessing he knew that, maybe some records?). He pushed the access cards towards me, said what number my parking spot is, and turned away in a final manner. He didn't mention how to access the garage, it made me feel like he was just trying to move me on. What would have he been nice would have been if he just checked that I know where the garage is and how to get in. I stay in so many places and don't always remember these details. Overall, he had very aloof energy, not friendly and I think this role benefits from having someone be warm, accomodating in their time and attention towards making a customer feel welcome and ensuring they have all they need and understand where their room / parking is and how to access both. Just slow down basically, and honour that someone has chosen Ramada to stay at over the multitude of other amazing accommodation venues in Tamaki. Thank you

Very helpful, friendly and cohesive customer facing staff. Kiara went above & beyond arranging to finish drying (and folding) our clothes while we went to an appt. Storing our luggage for the afternoon was no trouble. In fact, nothing was too much trouble. I tried to tip them but was turned down 3x’s… whaat?!?! Excellent shopping district location. Thank you all

I was not able to stay at this property as I had a delayed flight. I had arrived at 3 am in the morning and made the reservation prior. When I contacted the property they said that they could not find my reservation, even though I had already made the reservation. It was really early in the morning and extremely tired from the flight so I had to just cancel and find another hotel that was open. I had made a request online from Expedia to have the reservation cancelled, and after a couple of days, they decided not to refund my request. The reservation was already confirmed, yet I was not able to check in and I was not willing to spend half an hour from the airport and spend $50NZD to drive to a hotel that could not find my reservation. I am extremely disappointed in the fact that they decided to charge me for the duration of the stay even though I was not able to check in.

Lovely modern, bright and clean hotel. Was easily walkable to the Auckland Domain for our festival, the area felt safe. Excellent location for shopping, cafes and restaurants. Room was lovely with lots of natural light and everything needed including wine glasses.

It's on a hill, it would be good if the property manager states that on their site. I use a walker and it was very difficult for me because of the steep hill to get to and from this hotel. The staff also need to be mindful of disabled people like me and not make life difficult.

A great place - very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Small kitchen had everything I needed to prepare a light breakfast - including a real toaster. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for me was the steep entrance way without a sidewalk - it made the walk into town a little difficult and potentially dangerous if a car happens to enter while you are walking through.

:-) The hotel was quiet in the evenings so that I could easily get some sleep. The building and contents appeared to be quite new, and in very good condition. The hotel was very clean throughout. :-( The hotel did not have a dining room for breakfast or dinner.
