We are a family of three with a 9 year old boy, and we loved our stay here! I think it was one of the most aesthetically pleasing hotel stays. The place was clean and spacious. Our son loved the scent of their shampoo, which we got to purchase through their contactless kiosk ( so convenient!), and he says he wants to come stay here again! 😁

The only thing that I found slightly sparse was the fact that there was only one luggage cart, and it was not available when I arrived. Which meant that I had to lug my heavy luggage myself. The receptionist was unable to find a helping hand, but ended up helping me herself, which I appreciated. But I do feel that one cart is simply not enough. The renovated room was awesome. Very comfortable and clean. I would have liked a normal coffee maker though. The little cups make strong coffee and there was no milk available. I did appreciate finding real glassware. Bigger mugs would have been wonderful. I would suggest that the hotel prohibits smoking on the balcony. The rooms that bordered my balcony had people in them who smokes. One cigarettes, the other cannabis. So I really could not enjoy the balcony, But... in general I would gladly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay near beautiful Edam and Volendam.

The hotel is great by itself, yet they overcharge almost everything. They only have twin size bed, and charge 20 euro per night for a topper, they charged me 12 euro for a bottle of milk (normal price is less than 3 euro) and I have to buy three times at this price because I am travelling with a young kid, they also want to charge for baby crib, which is rare to see. The cakes selling the bar are leftovers and not good. There is bus to Amsterdam, but if you want to take a Taxi or Uber, it’s expensive, I was charged over 162 euros by a taxi from airport. Also, they don’t provide adapter (many good hotels can lend to customers) bought one at 18 Euro, I don’t respect people making money in this way. Not recommend. If you have other option, skip this one. Changing me 12 euro for a small bottle of milk is crazy.
