Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo

Nice hotel. The sauna area below is not like we have in Holland. Bit disapointing. But is not from the hotel

First surprise was that the Airport shuttle bus is not in offered anymore. There is no gym or sauna you have to buy it extra and the shock was when if you want to taka piece of fruit with you from breakfast you have to pay 1 Euro and if you want to make a sandwich and take it with you then they want 5 euro from you. Not staying there again.

Near to airport. 10 min on bus. Direct access to shopping centre Jumba. SPA center.

This hotel has been my choice several times. It has so many things to do, for all ages in the two connecting malls.

It was impossible to find reception. Finally we found it (there was a couple with same problem), we had to take a number which we released in couple of minutes. No signs about arrangement anywhere. To get a free paring we had to insert cars reg,nro to self check in desk but the computer didnt work. Reception was annoyed when I went back and asked about it... Wouldnt stay never again!

Clean room, good bed, quicky check in and out. Good parking area. Lot of restaurants.

Rent, fräscht, allt man behövde på rummet. I och med placeringen i ett stort köpcentrum är det närhet till det mesta man kan behöva. Nackdel att hotellet saknar gym, men kostade bara 10€ på gymmet i köpcentrumet.

Ledig fint opphold, super service da vi ikke fikk cromecast til å funke, fikk vi nytt rom, da vi fremdeles ikke fikk det til å funke på de nye rom, fikk vi en plate sjokolade da hun dessverre ikke visste hvordan hun ellers skulle hjelpe oss. Rom var i helt ok stand, sengene kunne godt ha trengt en oppgradering. Men fin plass og lekeplass i nærhet, shoppesenter i forbindelse med hotell, badeland rett ved siden av, bowling og minigolf, mye å gjøre for familien. Masse spisesteder noe for alle.

Convenient for a stopover at Helsinki. I enjoyed Flamingo Spa:)

Ikke helt rent værelse og meget industrielt Ikke hyggeligt

Although it is some distance from the city, the location of the hotel to the close proximity of mall and cinema made it convenient to shop up till closing and watch a late night movie. The room in the new wing was fresh and comfortable. Enjoyed the large window with a view of the forest and the modern smart TV. Breakfast gets crowded quickly. The options look alot but food is basic and taste average.

Excellent service of reception for the whole stay. Breakfeast staff also kind and welcoming. Stayed here before but now on newer side I have to say I prefer the older side did not enjoy the walk to other side. First up to 2nd floor then through a corridor and up with another elevator. Room was fresh and comfortable I especially enjoyed the air conditioning, big bed and smart tv I also had a nice view. I found the bathtub to be too high maybe hotel could consider if this is accessible I am average length and I had to jump in. I also didnt like that she shower wall/glass was not movable it meant I had to climb in tub to turn on shower there was also not any practical handle/grip to help oneself get out of tub. The high tub could easily be dangerous if movability is even a bit limited for customer. I love amarillo so I enjoyed the food from there however restaurant got my order wrong both evenings. Curious that there seemed to be not enough staff during midsummer not everyone goes to summer cottage. It also seemed like a waste that entertainment center that is in same building as hotel was closed during the Saturday I imagine many of my fellow guest that had kids would have enjoyed some hours there. The only thing I missed is some kind of outdoor are for guests I now sat and read in the shade of breakfeast restaurant outer area and my view was concrete. Perhaps a roof garden with nice sitting area? I know amarillo has outdoor terrace but it was not open the whole day.

I had to change rooms twice because there was no Wi-Fi but staff were super friendly.

İlk gece odam soğuktu ve ilgililer oda sıcaklığı 21 dereceye ayarlı istersem havalandırmayı kapatabileceğimi söyledi. Ne yazık ki havalandırma kapanmıyordu. İkinci gece tekrar resepsiyona şikayet ettim. Bu sefer Resepsiyondan Mette hemen odamı değiştirdi ve seyahatimin kalanı sorunsuz ve çok güzel geçti.

Mooi hotel, zeer goed gelegen aan een winkelcentrum, mooie kamers, vriendelijk personeel en goed en groot restaurant met ruime keuze en veel zitplaatsen.

Very slow check in. Waiting time was 15 mins . Too slow. Everything else was ok.

Very long time waiting at the reception to check in. Other than that, everything was great!

Overall it was a good hotel and was comfortable with a good breakfast. Check in desk was very slow on both days that we checked in during the week. Ticketing system was not clearly communicated.

One of the friendliest and helpful front desk staffs! Early check in accommodations were made. A terrific breakfast was available at 0400 AM! The proximity of the mall, sauna/water park was perfect, allowing for a restful 20 hour layover!

Great hotel. The closeness to the Jumbo Center is fantastic. Also, very close to the airport

Good location near to airport and business center, located to Jumbo mall easy to pick something in the evening post work , 15-18 min to Market square and city center for quick sightseeing etc.

Near to airport. 10 min on bus. Direct access to shopping centre Jumba. SPA center.

Stayed here as we had an early morning flight. Approx 3km to airport.

Det bästa hotellet om du ska uppehålla dig i Vanta under din vistelse i Helsingfors. Området är lugnt men närheten till många affärer och matställen gör detta till ett bra ställe både för affärsresa och barnfamiljer.

Helt greit hotell. Rent og ryddig, men veldig upersonlig. Innsjekking tok veldig lang tid. Trekk for kjedelig frokost.

The spa was nice but expensive (make sure to bring your own towel to not get upcharged) and the room was fine, but the ~20 food options were TERRIBLE. Taco Bell is literally the highest rated restaurant in the complex, which makes sense because the Crunchwrap supreme I ate tasted better than the “Greek” I had earlier in the day.
