First off when we checked in there was no luggage cart. Ckerk had to go find the one and only one they had. Finally got one. We to our room which when we entered smelt of wet carpet. So the very nice clerk moved us across the hall to another room. It was better, but obviously its ok to smoke week in rooms. Next day we left for a bit and come back to our keys not working and someone entering our room with do not disturb or the door. They turn our ac to auto when i had it on bc i have to have it cold to breath and they messed with it and took and replaced towels. That is invasion of privacy. And keys not working is crazy. It happened at our last stay. There was a big gap above ac you could see outside. I have pictures Last but not least when we go to checkout, there is no luggage cart. And we had to lug all of our stuff downstairs bc the elevator takes 5 mins to go up and down. We usually use this hotel for our racers to stay when we come race but this was by far the worst experience i have ever had

First the water ran on the toilet all night after the first use to the point we had to physically turn it off at the knob. The room door and bathroom door stuck and was hard to open/close as if the room had flooded and was swollen. Having 1 trash can for the entire room was insane. This ironing board didn’t have a spring to keep it up so I had to iron on the floor. The furniture really needs to be replaced as well-it was busted up pretty bad, the chairs were peeling and there was an “older room” smell. I try to give each hotel 2 tries before I move on -this was the 2nd attempt and I can’t justify spending that much for this room even on a low end. But ..parking was great, convenience to food was great and the hot water worked well!

My selection was based on amenities, price, and location. It was my birthday weekend and wanted a little getaway. I was surprised there wasn't more than one entrance to the building (had to walk at night almost in the back of building). Although I received new towels the bed wasn't made. The pool area didn't have enough space for lounging. The staff seemed nice and had good eating selections nearby.

Room was dirty but staff was excellent. Security doors were not locked at night

It was good, it could of had better upgrades given the other surrounding hotels have been renovated but it was no big deal. The overall stay was comfortable and the room was great for the price.

I had work schedule issues so I was not able to travel so my wife, daughter and grandchildren made the trip. While the room itself was comfortable, they felt very unsafe coming and going from the hotel and parking lot. To many questionable activities going on in that area. We have family in this area and do travel there 2 or 3 times a year, but We will not be using this hotel again

First the positive*** Room was clean. Bed was SUPER comfortable! I am a solo female traveler and I felt safe. The hotel is close to lots of food and shopping options and has Easy access to the highway. Staff was nice and welcoming. Negatives— The room was clean but all the fixtures are rusty. The room has a full length mirror but no lighting near it so you can’t see yourself when it’s dark outside. Theres no counter in the restroom so there’s no place to put your toiletries. Housekeeping didn’t empty the trash for 3days I finally saw her and had to ask her to empty it. The back security door is broken ( doesn’t lock) and very heavy and throughout the night you hear it slamming. The breakfast was not edible the apple juice was cloudy and tasted borderline spoiled. If the room was upgraded I could see them charging the $179/night, but as it is I think it’s about $70 over priced.

This was by far the worst stay at a hotel! Tub in the shower was dirty and not draining properly the comforter had hair on it, refrigerator was nasty, door wasn’t closing properly, had to have keys redone twice , was offered to move rooms a day before check out , was told first nothing could be done! Do not stay here the worst! Will never get my business again!

The lobby looks nothing like the picture advertised. The tub had some kind of stain on it. It looked like mold was part of the porcelain in the tub. The carpet was soaked by the air conditioner because it was leaking. The room did not seem to have been cleaned well because a used plastic fork was found under the corner of one of the beds. We stayed for one night, just to rest during a three day road trip. We'd already been traveling all day and were leaving early in the morning. I would have found another hotel if we were staying longer. The location was convenient, next to the interstate and several restaurant selections within walking distance. The customer service representative who checked us in was very friendly. Other than that, it was kind of terrible.

We was headed to the waterpark and we decided to stop here for the weekend since it was my daughter‘s birthday. The pictures online look like it could be a nice room, but when I tell you when we got to the hotel, our room wasn’t good from blood stains on the sheet And a dirty mattress. We got a connecting room in the lock had a hole in it and you can see through the other room. Even the sheers had stains on there. It was red. I don’t know whether it was dried blood stains or non!! It had holes in it as well!! There was a large stain on the night stand!! Then the bathroom vans was so dirty with dirt!! It wasn’t clean at all!! And then inside the tub was all kind of spot and it had a little mole on the side. I asked could we switch rooms and I was told that they didn’t have any available to check back the next day when I do check back the next day. They told me that they was full Asked to speak to a manager. They say his name was Jay and left my number and email with him so he can contact me for my trouble. He never did call nor email this hotel wasn’t what we expected we would not be returning again.

The hotel was like putting lip stick on a pig. Our room was dirty. It looks new on the outside. But our room was far from nice. There was something brown on the couch. The curtains needed a serious washing. Holes in the wall where old pictures were. Just dirty. The room needed a good cleaning from top to bottom.

Very clean, quiet, and beds very comfortable.

The Hotel was nice, and the staff were very pleasant as well! The only issue I had was that the room had a mildew odor to it by the second night, and I noticed that the curtains had mildew on them as well, due to the condensation on the window. Because I was going to check out the next day, it didn’t make sense to change my room, but it was an interesting discovery.

Sheets and towels were clean. Furnishings were dated, dilapidated and the couch, carpet, chairs appeared unhygienic and stained.

Good location, but WAY overpriced even thought it was a Bama home game weekend. Could hear every step the people above us took as they walked around their room. Shower worked well and comfy bed.

Water pressure was extremely high in the sink which lead to water spills. The toilet seat was pitted and looked like needed to be replaced. The HVAC system was musty and room had a slight odor. I don’t understand how hotels.com ratings were excellent for this hotel. I find the hotels.com ratings unreliable.

The room's door latch would not engage properly and I had to be switched to another room. However, once the switch occurred, the rest of the stay was reasonable.

My first morning was ruff due to nosie but other that that it's been good

Nice atmosphere. Great staff. But the rooms are a little dated. Tub and facuets could be upgraded. But perfect for price compared to other cities.

We stayed for a quick one night stay for a football game in Birmingham. The hotel's walls are a bit thin ( the TV next door could be heard but it wasn't bad), and the room had a slight musty smell. It went away as soon as we cranked down the AC. The water was hot, the room was clean, and the staff was very polite. There are at least five restaurants around the hotel. Great place, especially for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a King room on the 1st floor and I highly do not recommend for anyone dealing with back issues. Deadbolt did NOT latch at all! Had to rely on the regular lock, the door stop latch, and the “Go Ahead and Make My Day” under the pillow.

We’ve stayed in multiple properties in this general location and this hotel is not at all on par with the rest. Our room was in desperate need of updating. The furniture is worn. The bathroom did not have even a vanity and just had a wall sink with a horrible caulking job . The tub was dirty. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. We had to get our keys re activated for the second night as did everyone else. A woman we spoke with stated that she had been there 4 nights and had to get her key reactivated every night. I will say the staff were very nice. Not sure who is posting the rave reviews, but this property is in no way “exceptional “ or “excellent “

The hotel staff lost track of what room they put me in. So at midnight… i was awaken by someone attempting to enter my room. I yelled through the door to go away and they left. 30 minutes later after almost asleep again, i was awaken again by the hotel staff knocking on my door. They asked who i was and i explained that i was here for 3 nights and paid for all 3 nights. They now are asking for my ID to prove who i am. After finally getting done and not getting much sleep…. I had to go back down at 6:30am to again get my key to work cause the locked me out. Not professional

The girl at check-in is so friendly and she really goes above and beyond. Bed was comfortable and was an overall nice place to stay for a couple nights.

Good location

Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast choices. My only complaint was the shower water never got above Luke warm no matter how long it ran or time of day you used it.

Bathroom smelled funny,breakfast closed early ,but room was available early and no early fee for a reasonable price. 3 1/2 stars

The property smelled bad and the breakfast was not good. The staff sometimes acted annoyed to take care of the basics.

The minute you get off the elevator to the second floor all you smell is wet carpet. All the way down the hall and it’s stronger in the room. They need to clean the ac units. The sofa in the room was damp. And the bed mas so hard. Went to breakfast at 7:30 and the only hot breakfast was the coffee. Will not recommend.
