Clarion Pointe Rhinelander Downtown

Staff was responsive and helpful. Breakfast was good with hot and cold food choices. The location was also good. The property is old but updated the best they can. The walls are thin at it was a bit noisy. Beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Nice pool with hot tub!

Room was dirty

Well we were 4 hours from home for a softball tournament for starters. We read there was a heated pool, this pool was NOT HEATED @55 degrees. Plus there were no towels. The hot tub had green foam and had broken pieces around it. The hot breakfast had cold sausage and it was literally filled right in front of me. There was a clump of hair in the shower when we got there that my husband took out. Overall the hotel room was not cleaned completely how it should be after a stay. Clarion won't be a first choice next time.

Do not stay here. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from people all around you. The PM desk manager told me “well just check out then, that’s the only way you’ll get a refund.” Ok it’s 9pm and my child is almost asleep. Your hotel is 90% empty - there’s no cars in the lot. Why can’t you space people out to avoid this issue. Bathroom was moldy. Shower had hair in it and dirty hand prints on the walls. Sheets in bed were dirty-stained. Hair on the towels upon check in. I’m not switching rooms at 9pm to another that’s most likely the same dirty level because the same people are not cleaning well enough. For Rhinelander WI this place is severely over priced at >$100/night and is more in line with a motel 6 worth like $70/night. Don’t stay here. Read and believe the other 1 star reviews too.

I think we were the only guests at the hotel for at least a few of the days so the breakfast was terrible, cold, didn't seem fresh. The rest of the facility and the entire stay was pleasant.
