Fantastic will come again. Staff super friendly, going above and beyond. Great location, back entrance very convenient when needed. Spa/pool very nice. 24/7 gym super handy. Room was clean, nice. I would highly recommend these apt to stay. Close to main train station, Coles within ealking distance. Great resturants. Accommdation was well appointed and clean. The gym, spa,pool and sauna was an added bonus and great after a day of siteseeing

Hotel itself annd staff excellent. I would have given 5 stars overall, but I had a nightmare with car parking. The hotel has an "arrangement" with Secure Parking at 570 Bourke Street [about 100 metres away] for "in and out access." I paid 40 Australian dollars per night for 4 nights. I was unbale to gain access three times and unable to leave once [when leaving to go to the airport]. The staff on the intercom said there was a glitch in the system such that it could not cope if I went in and out more than once. On the day I was to leave [at 7.20am] the car park computer system was not working so I could not even contact their staff on the intercom. Hotel staff came the rescue by coming to the car park and phoning the car park company to get the system back on. But a real nightmare for the entire 4 days and nights. So if you have a car, be aware of possible problems. Hotel staff said that this has never happened before. But it happened to me four times. One can only hope that Secure Parking sort out there problems!!!

We have stayed at several Meriton properties during our six week trip to Australia but this did not reach the same standards as the others. The rooms were good but much smaller, there is no parking and on the day of our departure two of the four lifts broke meaning a half hour wait to get to reception. Staff were very apologetic and ,fortunately we were in no rush , but this wasn’t great for a hotel which is only two years old.

Almost perfect! The room was spotless and comfortable. Kitchen and laundry worked out great although instructions for the oven would have been helpful. Desk staff were particularly good. Our room was very quiet even though it was right next to the elevator. Pool and hot tub were very good. Fitness center looked like it just had a couple treadmills and ellipticals. The location was great - close to Southern Cross Station to get airport and tour busses and a few blocks from other tram stops. Pharmacy and small grocery store nearby. Nice coffee house about 25 ft from entrance. Local Indian restaurant across the street. The area is not quite as active places as more into the CBD but we loved that it was more relaxed and we could take the tram or walk to those areas easily. I would stay there again and again.

We booked a one bedroom altitude suite and our apartment was a corner suite on level 38. It was absolutely perfect with stunning views, superb well thought out layout, spacious bedroom with a king size bed, great bathroom, well equipped kitchen and full laundry. It was the perfect base for the tennis, and a block to Southern Cross station, 2 blocks on the free trams to the main shopping precinct. The staff were lovely and it was so clean. It was our best stay of all our accommodation on our three week trip to Sydney, Melbourne, and the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommend.

1. Room was clean, modern, well-designed, and well-appointed. 2. Liked the security elevator. 3. Would like to recognize Kay at the reception desk. I was early having disembarked from a cruise and feeling a little under-the-weather. No rooms were ready so Kay monitored room readiness while I sat in the lobby. As soon as a room was ready, she allowed me to check in. I felt she demonstrated a level of care and service I do not always see at most hotels. Thank you Kay!

Our stay at Meriton Suites Melbourne was nothing short of outstanding. The one-bedroom luxury suite was easily the nicest hotel accommodation I’ve ever experienced. Everything in the suite was brand new, state-of-the-art, and beautifully modern. The room was impeccably clean and offered stunning views of the city skyline. A special shout-out to JC at the front desk, who checked us in with such warmth and hospitality. She made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and provided fantastic suggestions for nearby attractions, which really enhanced our trip. The suite itself had every amenity you could possibly need, including a well-equipped small kitchen. However, the washer and dryer were the standout features—an absolute game-changer, especially with detergent thoughtfully provided. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. The pool was lovely, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the gym was surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel fitness center. This was a truly outstanding stay—we absolutely did not want to leave. In fact, we felt like we could live here forever! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne.

2nd stay at the hotel. Like the clean and spacious room with full kitchen facilities. Reception staff out in force and everyone was friendly and greet you whenever they see you. This time I made 2 separate bookings (due to change of plan) and I was concerned about need to change room. Steven W who was on duty at the Reception made special arrangement to ensure I have the same room throughout. He is very pleasant and reassuring and worth a mention for his willingness to help.

Usually I like merriton,but this time The reception lady was quite rude and was unhelpful when asking for an upgrade. She pushed me to the side and told me to just look it up on the app. I then waited again to try and check in for another 20 mins. She gave me a low level room and even though I politely asked for a higher room if possible.

Everything was great except when my work plans changed and I needed to stay an extra night, they could not extend my stay at the reception even though there were rooms available! I was told I’d have to book online and hope for continuity and that I’d most likely have to check out and wait a few hours to check back in ! I chose not to stay , it was much easier to book another hotel and change my flights then what at most other hotels would be a simple operation ! I am standing at reception trying to spend my money on an extra night and basically turned away ! I stay here regularly and often find problems with check in and check out .. everything else is great … if only they could be a bit more flexible like most other major hotels ….

Loved the spaciousness of the studio room. Clean, modern, very close to Spencer St DFO and skybus. We arrived very early from international flight so asked to leave luggage prior to check in but a room was available for immediate check in. Very appreciative for that. It will be our first choice accommodation in future.

Safe and Quiet! Well equipped with plenty of coffee pods and milk, which are replaced every couple of days. The lounge area is comfortable and the kitchen excellent! Very convenient to trams and there’s a woolies metro on the next corner. There is an excellent coffee shop on the ground floor with yummy pastries. Very affordable and fresh as a daisy!

Lovely apartments, very clean and a comfortable bed too! Kitchenette had everything we needed and we had a great view from the 19th floor. Reception staff were very helpful when we checked in and we were able to check in 2 hours early. Great location close to the Skybus stop at Southern Cross station and Marvel stadium for AFL. Easy access to trams and loads of choice for dining and shopping.

Booked high floor, one bed, with excellent views. Added benefit of washer & dryer on a three-week trip. Kitchenette came with small milk cartons, coffee maker, pods & tea with all cutlery etc as needed when no on-site restaurant. However, there are so many breakfast places & restaurants locally, it doesn’t matter. Would definitely use again
