Only issue was that the two properties (Eldorado and Mateo) are jointly managed and we had to go to Mateo to check in/out and when our key cards stopped working we had to go back to the other property to get it fixed. Also, time of year and not very busy so some amenities closed, but the room was wonderful, lounge was spectacular and the staff all wonderful. Will definitely go back.

Very nice place, pricey, I guess to be expected for a waterfront resort in Kelowna. Amazing staff with great personalities . Pool could use more chairs, but other than that I would absolutely return!

Stayed here the night of our honeymoon. We were dropped off by taxi at 5:15pm. Nobody was at the front desk or anywhere to be found. It took half an hour of calling the hotel over and over before someone finally picked up and gave us directions to the front desk of the adjoining hotel which was a twenty minute walk away. We arrived in our room to find the walls coated in splattered food and stains. The carpeted hallways of the hotel were stained and everything needed a good dusting. We went to the bar at 10pm to see a bunch of young adults all goofing around and rudely told us to leave since they closed the bar early. I really wish that we had stayed somewhere else and this place ruined the night of our honeymoon. We would have had a better time at a budget hotel like a super 8 and it would have been immensely cheaper. Stay away.

The staff was friendly and helpful, there are lots of good amenities, and the property is charming, historically speaking. However, the building we stayed in (Arms at the El Dorado) was old, felt dirty and even had visibly old, worn out furniture in the room and hallways. The carpet in the hotel (a runner down the middle of the halls) and the carpet at the entrance was worn and dirty - even a a simple vaccuuming would have helped. The bed was comfortable, but since our room faced the harbor and restaurant, it was noisy late into the night. And the room walls were very "thin" - we could hear folks in the next rooms throughout the night!! The harbor and boardwalk are lovely, and we did enjoy some time at the adult pool, but because the El Dorado hotel itself is so tired and worn and didn\'t feel clean, I just can\'t recommend it, especially for the price. That said, we met folks at the adult pool who have stayed in the Manteo portion of the resort year after year and just love it, so maybe that is the building to stay in?

Bed was so comfy could have slept in forever if we didn’t have things to do. Room could have been cleaner, there was hair in the drawers and shower that wasn’t ours. The restaurant we wanted to go to in the manteo is closed in mondays so we were sad about that but the restaurant in the Eldorado was open and it was fabulous. Service at the front desk and restaurant were great.

The room was semi clean, water on the floor, hair in the shower, parking is very limited, they have a person in the entrance telling non guests they can’t park here, the hostess in the restaurant was very slow & rude! After a 15 minute wait while 4-5 people looked at the computer screen, we. Asked for a table for 2 and were told they were full - even though there wasn’t another person in the restaurant! Do not send your clients to this place!

Location was convenient for our time in Kelowna. The check-in was welcoming and positive. Our room had a beautiful view and great patio. The king bed was comfortable. The casual pub side of dining was very good. The service was on point. Our room could have been cleaner, the hallways should have definitely been cleaner. The hotel common bathrooms should have been cleaner. The service in the dining room could have been better. Overall enjoyed our stay and thought it was reasonable value; however, we’ll consider other options next time.

Reserved for five nights. Our first day we left early in the morning and returned at 4:30 in the afternoon to our room, which was not cleaned or made up. Very disappointing considering what we paid for a king suite lakefront room. That being said, the manager made sure that our rooms were cleaned from that point forward. However, I will say the Dining staff were all very good, but Service a bit slow. Personally, I would not stay there again, however, their sister hotel Maestro was very nice and much more upscale. One thing to note is that there is major construction all around the lakefront hotels

This property has the most amazing view of the lake - you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy lovely drinks and great food! The rooms in the Arms wing of the hotel are very spacious. The restaurants are well staffed with friendly servers and diverse menus. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The stay was really nice although I was expecting a stove when description said Kitchenette. But that was my own fault for not looking at photos properly. It’s just it was a little disappointing. However the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I did think the decor in the room was a little quirky and could have been furnished better

It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. There was absolutely no service. They had no reception just a sign to walk to neighbouring property which was a rather long walk with my luggage. I checked in there and then I had to walk all the way back. There was no type of shuttle back. It was cold and windy. There is also poor entry access back to the hotel. There was also no room service. I had to walk down to restaurant order food and wait for it. I do not think I will ever stay there again unless I have access to a car. The lack of service is the worst I have ever experienced.

The checkout experience was terrible. The clerk checking me out could not assist me with the Expedia issues. Expedia advised me that we were paid in full, however, the clerk at the hotel kept saying I owed money. After him telling me to call myself and not being helpful, I left reiterating that I would have no charges on my visa and him confirming this, I indeed had many charges on my visa, in which I did not receive a receipt for. I spent alot of time dealing with them last week and it was very stressful.

We enjoyed our stay at The Eldorado Hotel and would definitely recommend it. The hotel has a great location, right on the lake. The room was clean and spacious. The restaurant had a nice ambiance. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Reserved for five nights. Our first day we left early in the morning and returned at 4:30 in the afternoon to our room, which was not cleaned or made up. Very disappointing considering what we paid for a king suite lakefront room. That being said, the manager made sure that our rooms were cleaned from that point forward. Great resort property. Boardwalk patio complimented by amazing views and really good food. A little it more $ than your average restaurant but worth it based on above. Room was pretty good but would to have a balcony next visit. Would go back.

This property has the most amazing view of the lake - you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy lovely drinks and great food! The rooms in the Arms wing of the hotel are very spacious. The restaurants are well staffed with friendly servers and diverse menus. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Bed was so comfy could have slept in forever if we didn’t have things to do. Room could have been cleaner, there was hair in the drawers and shower that wasn’t ours. The restaurant we wanted to go to in the manteo is closed in mondays so we were sad about that but the restaurant in the Eldorado was open and it was fabulous. Service at the front desk and restaurant were great.

Everything was very nice. Since it was not summer a lot of the things were closed, restautant had limited service, no rentals, and also take into consideration there are no places to eat at walking distance, so you're pretty much stuck eating in they're reataurants if you're not driving.

Location was convenient for our time in Kelowna. The check-in was welcoming and positive. Our room had a beautiful view and great patio. The king bed was comfortable. The casual pub side of dining was very good. The service was on point. Our room could have been cleaner, the hallways should have definitely been cleaner. The hotel common bathrooms should have been cleaner. The service in the dining room could have been better. Overall enjoyed our stay and thought it was reasonable value; however, we’ll consider other options next time.

Our first quick stay due to an early flight from YLW, but it didn't disappoint! Fabulous lakeside location and my son and I shared a roomy corner room with 2 x queen beds. Very nice. We chose to eat in the hotel pub/restaurant with a wonderful lakeside patio/view on a balmy October evening. Food very nice and good service. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here!

An incredible location right on the lake. The restaurant on site was fantastic and the staff were great as well. Get a lake view room to enjoy the sunsets, or head to the roof or the restaurant for sunset as well.
