Ocean Riviera Paradise El Beso – Honest Review Overall, this resort has some nice highlights but also a few drawbacks. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The buffet offered a good variety of food, and the coffee shop and late-night snack bar (open until 6 am) were great perks. The margaritas at the Mexican restaurant were excellent — especially the jamaica margarita! The bowling alley was also a fun addition, even though playtime is limited to about 10 minutes per person. The main disappointment was the beach — very small, with large sandbag barriers and cloudy water that took away from the usual Caribbean charm. Entertainment was not as organized or lively as other resorts, and the prizes for games were always just a T-shirt. The shows at nights were at a much lower quality compared to other resorts. The nightclub felt more like a sports bar, and the DJ stuck to the same playlist all night without taking requests. The worst was the constant pressure to upgrade to their “Privilege” package got annoying after a while. The resort seemed to catered to Privilege guests only. In short, it’s a comfortable resort with decent food, great margaritas, and a few fun extras, but the beach, entertainment, and upselling take away from the overall experience.

Property was nice and well kept. Unfortunately there is not much of a beach to speak of. Severely eroded when we visited in August of 2025. The Sargassum was definitely in full force as well, but that is out of their control. They worked diligently to remove it every day. Our swim up room was excellent, air conditioning worked well. We really enjoyed the food here, especially at the Buffet. The specialty restaurants were all a bit warm which made the experience less than enjoyable, but the food was good. The staff was extremely friendly and our Concierge Lisandro was great! He checked in with us numerous times and assisted with dinner reservations. Also a special shout out to Miguel at the el Beso swim up bar. He was excellent, remembered our drink orders when we came up each time and made a delicious margarita!

The room was very clean and looked amazing. The resort itself was larger than I thought and had a shuttle bus that would ruin from end to end but was still very walkable. We loved the wildlife around the resort, we read that there were monkeys but had no idea how easy it was to find them and other resorts claim the same thing but I've never seen them. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese, the food and the show was excellent. We lucked out with an invitation to the chefs table for a special dinner and it was by far the best meal I've ever had at a resort. The only feedback that I would have on the chefs table would be to let people know that it's on a rooftop and could be windy or cool for dinner. I would highly recommend Ocean Riviera and would definitely go back.

Property was beautiful and staff was polite and helpful. We originally booked a swim out room in el beso but upgraded to a 2 floor room with a jacuzzi on top level. Room was nice and always cleaned every day. We spent most days at the el beso pool. Drinks were great. Staff there was always smiling. The beach was a big disappointment for me as it is really rocky out in the ocean. There is a lot of seaweed, which does not bother me, but staff was always trying to clean it up. Food was good/great. Overall a very nice place and I would return.

My BF & I stayed for 7 days/6 nights & we had an amazing time! Last year we stayed at Ocean Blue & Sand in the DR (owned by H10) & it was a total upgrade! Ocean Riviera Paradise was significantly cleaner, had more activities to do & the overall atmosphere was amazing! We stayed in the adults only section of the resort & I was a little worried that kids would be able to sneak in however, every section is completely separated & no matter how loud the music was, you wouldn’t be able to hear it from the other sections. Room was fantastic, no complaints. Service was excellent, especially Alfonso at the swim-up bar! So sweet & a great bar tender! Food was amazing overall. This was the first resort that I’ve been to where the restaurants are actually better than the buffet. Blue Moon & the Italian are a must! Another nice surprise for me, there was turkey bacon!! It was a pleasant surprise to have that available. My only complaints is that while we were there, the weather was a bit chilly & unless you were drunk, the pool was very cold. The ocean was significantly warmer than the pools. My other concern is that we were on the first floor & in the back when you are walking to your room, there is an opening thats mostly covered by plants. However, at night time, there were raccoons. We first saw them digging through the garbage right as you are about to exit the building & we also saw them as we were exiting our room. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back again!

The restaurant choices were great and the food was amazing in all of them. Very beautiful resort and we really enjoyed our room and the adults only area. When booking we thought it was an adults only resort, but it is not, so note that as it is deceiving when booking! The gym was very well equipped, squat rack, cable machines, heavy free weights made it great if you are into weight training. The tennis courts are a bit uneven so be prepared for weird ball bounces. Honestly it was an amazing experience, the only down side was how much you are stopped and tried to sell something, like a massage, an upgrade, a photo, and you are asked to review everything all the time. Day one in the buffet our waiter introduced himself then asked me to scan a QR code to rate him online whilst he watched me….it was quite annoying by the end of the week but I understand that is how they sell their services.

The resort staff were friendly and helpful. When I arrived my bag was left at the entrance to be delivered to my room. I was given a drink at check-in and received a free upgrade to my room. The beach was beautiful and free of seaweed. I do recommend swimming shoes due to the shells and rocks. There were daily pool activities and tons of entertainment options including a theatre, disco, bowling and more. I enjoyed my spa day which included a massage, facial and hydrotherapy. The amenities were ok but some items such as slippers and cups for refreshments were not stocked in the spa. This didn't take away from how great I felt after my spa treatments. Overall it was a nice resort that I would visit again.

We stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise in the El Beso adults-only section and overall had a great experience. The resort is a good size — big enough to explore but not so large that you can’t walk everywhere. The property is very clean and well-kept, with lots of wildlife around, which gives it a nice tropical feel. Our room was cleaned daily, and the mini bar was always restocked, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and service at the bars and restaurants was excellent. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to relax. There were plenty of dinner options, and we rarely ate at the buffet since the à la carte restaurants were so good. Our favorite was Blue Moon, which had great food for both breakfast and dinner, and the host there was always welcoming. A big shoutout to Lisandro, our concierge, who went above and beyond. Our mini fridge wasn’t working on the first day, and he got it fixed right away, then surprised us with a bottle of champagne and desserts. He also gave us a helpful checkout tip that saved us time and money at the airport. A couple of downsides — the beach is quite rocky, and there isn’t much space to relax by the water. Also, there are people around selling excursions and activities, but they’re never pushy and leave you alone if you say no. Overall, the food, cleanliness, and staff made for a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Dirty buffet, bird crap everywhere. Not cleaning tables so the birds were everywhere. I seen a bird take food off a plate waiting to be served and it was still served to a guest. Nothing all adult about this resort. Entertainment terrible

I didnt like tht i had bed bugs. I had too go two days before they did anything about it. Sunday nite was the only gud nite i slept wit no problems. The room and the property was nice bt my conditions i was in felt like they didnt care because her response was, well we are in the middle of the jungle.

Beautiful resort! Food was exceptional, from options to taste and quality. Room was clean, updated and spacious. Always a beach chair available and beach was clean. Highly recommend!!

Swim up pool was excellent. Staff sweeping debris directly into it from an above floor was not. Didnt see anyone clean the swim up pools any day I was there. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean. The staff calling me to check to see if I was in the room and then trying to convince me to clean my room (over the phone,) despite the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, made me realize my room would have been entered without my permission if I hadnt answered the phone. Front desk check-in was a young guy who spoke too quickly and was unhelpful, rushing. Later young female and older male desk personel were much better. Ive been to other resorts where when I ask for water I'm given a new bottle, here I'm given a small glass. Even if going eco friendly-which the resort charges $10 for, (yet there were plastic bottles in the fridge) then a normal sized reusable bottle would have been a better option. The monkeys, turtles and other animals were great to see. The beach was full of seaweed but I expected that this time of the year but the harrassment of time share sales was VERY unwelcome. Ok place. The staff calling me to check to see if I was in the room and then trying to convince me to clean my room (over the phone,) despite the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, made me realize my room would have been entered without my permission if I hadnt answered the phone. The property was beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Pools were very cold, we opted for the ocean instead. We stayed in El Beso- Adult only. I had to ask to be moved as my room was directly in front of the pool, with the music blaring all day, way to much for this old fart!. We upgraded to swim up rooms, would never do again, waste of money, pool in front was small and freezing, no sun all day. Looked pretty but not useable. Rooms very nice and cleaned each day. Bar wasn't stocked regularly and only offered canned beer, yuk. That was ok though as you could go anywhere and get a beverage. Food was standard all inclusive. Did not have one meal that was memorable or wow, but neither did we have any meals that were gross. Best food, at the beach, good burgers and pizza and the view was stunning. The reservation restaurants were hustling you in and out only allowing 1 hour per group. Night club was ok, need to upgrade their music, stuck in the 2000's for sure, same songs on repeat but again it was ok. One thing I didnt appreciate is the wolves at the lobby of the restaurant trying to sell you on time share or investments on future resorts. As many times as I said no, they kept uping the anti with more free things. I think its rude, I am paying my dollars to go to your resort to be hounded by people trying to sell me stuff. Complete turn off! I would go to this resort again sans high pressure sales staff!

I recently stayed at the El Beso Adults-Only section of Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, thanks to a wonderful lady at the El Beso counter who made us feel welcome from the start. The staff were friendly throughout, with team members like Azael contributing to a warm and helpful atmosphere, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The suite itself was clean and comfortable, though there were a few maintenance issues that could be improved. The sink vanity was visibly warped, and the sinks leaked through holes in the P-traps, which was a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, the main pool near the beach area was taped off for construction during my stay, limiting the lounge space on the beach, which was disappointing. Additionally, while some of the bar staff were attentive and friendly, others were less responsive, occasionally leaving guests waiting for service. In terms of guest diversity, I would have appreciated a broader mix of visitors, as I noticed very few guests of similar backgrounds, which did impact the social atmosphere somewhat. We stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise in the El Beso adults-only section and overall had a great experience. The resort is a good size — big enough to explore but not so large that you can’t walk everywhere. The property is very clean and well-kept, with lots of wildlife around, which gives it a nice tropical feel. Our room was cleaned daily, and the mini bar was always restocked, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and service at the bars and restaurants was excellent. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to relax. There were plenty of dinner options, and we rarely ate at the buffet since the à la carte restaurants were so good. Our favorite was Blue Moon, which had great food for both breakfast and dinner, and the host there was always welcoming. A big shoutout to Lisandro, our concierge, who went above and beyond. Our mini fridge wasn’t working on the first day, and he got it fixed right away, then surprised us with a bottle of champagne and desserts. He also gave us a helpful checkout tip that saved us time and money at the airport. A couple of downsides — the beach is quite rocky, and there isn’t much space to relax by the water. Also, there are people around selling excursions and activities, but they’re never pushy and leave you alone if you say no. Overall, the food, cleanliness, and staff made for a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Room: Our fridge didn't work and it took three days to replace the fridge. One of the sink drains didn't drain properly, fixed on day two and our toilet didn't flush properly. Our door didn't close, unless we slammed it, because the door jam piece was bent. We didn't realize El Beso was an ADULTS ONLY SECTION on the resort. We were also asked to take a one hour "tour", which was a huge sales gimmick and took 3 hrs. Even after this, people stopped us at breakfast, in the lounge, at the pool and in other areas to ask us to take this "tour". The constant hounding to purchase something got annoying and was not appreciated. The food wasn't great. Everything in a sauce is cooked in the same red tomato sauce. Salt and pepper is not easy to find. The steak house was ok, because we ordered our steak medium rare. Crepes are good. All the seafood and meat, in every restaurant, was overcooked, it was chewy and not easy to eat. The pool in El Beso was great, until it got busy. Once it got busy there were no lawn chairs to use. We tried to sit in the "premium" section, but got kicked out, because we weren't members. When we mentioned that there were no chairs available the guy told us "too bad" and made us move, however, another couple (not premium members) were able to stay. Staff throughout the resort was rude, except our maid. The beach is covered in seaweed (not their fault). Pros: quiet in El Beso. Good drinks. Easy to get around. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Most of the staff we dealt with were not friendly and rude. However Marco Franco was amazing and turned our poorly started vacation into a better one. He was kind and friendly and went above and beyond. The food over all was probably the best out of all the resorts we have been to.

Pros: Nice rooms, lots of dining options with great food, great customer service at bars and restaurants. Cons: entertainment wasn’t great, not many activities or shows. Was told non motorized activities would be free but kayaking was $12pp. There was also a lot of sales people constantly trying to get you to upgrade or buy a timeshare which was annoying.

The check-in process was a little confusing; we signed 3 or 4 documents (half only in Spanish) and unsure of what we were actually signing and handed over $20 US dollars for a tax?? The room was very clean; housekeeping cleaned daily and stocked the fridge daily. There were several food options on the resort and almost all were delicious! You have to make reservations for some of the restaurants and it can be difficult to secure a time. Drinks were your typical reaort drinks. This property is separated into 3 areas- adults only, kid friendly, and then "privilege." So if you want a completely kid free resort, this is not the place you want. The adult only section was free of children, but you are able to hear them across the way. There is only 1 or 2 restaurants/bars without kids as well. The property's beach was beautiful and you have the capability to walk it a few miles each direction. Lastly, the spa/massages were absolutely amazing!

Our client services/customer service rep Maria was amazing. She helped arrange our dinners and excursions and even helped us plan a perfect little surprise for the husbands. The only part I did not like was the constant hounding from the reps wanting us to basically do the resort time share presentation to get free massages or excursions. No matter how many times you say no thank you they continued to stalk you. That was very annoying.

I want to personally thank one staff member Lisandro for going above and beyond for making our trip extra special. It was my wifes first time to mexico and she was not happy with our room and we had some issues when we first reached out to expedia. But Lisandro turned it around and was able our stay excellent. Many staff members were also very kind. The buffet and food is actually good. Its hard for me as I do find places based on good food and they didnt disappoint. Probably the best food out of any resort Ive been too.

HORRIBLE Check-In experience. We waited 3 hours for our 2 rooms, after receiving the keys we tried to enter - but one was already occupied and one was FILTHY. Toothpaste crusted in the sinks, stains on the furniture, dirty floor, and linens all bundled up. We contacted nearby staff to help us - they had no urgency. We had to figure out somewhere to put all of our luggage while some of us went to the lobby to try and figure out what was going on. Maritza was appointed to us. She was disrespectful and unapologetic, and her solution. was "We will give you 1 room tonight, and then the 2 rooms tomorrow". Unacceptable. She finally "found" us 2 rooms, on separate floors but we were already up to 4.5 hours of waiting for our rooms and decided to handle the issue tomorrow. Maritza promised us some accommodations due to the inconvenience. We arrived in the lobby the following morning to speak to another manager she'd written on a paper for us - Karla and Gregdi. Well - none were available! We spoke to Hans - and quickly realized he was a salesman for the timeshares and not a manager. Everyone was unhelpful and did not show any empathy. We were given an NDA contract at one point that allowed us free 25-minute massages if we would not speak poorly of the resort after our stay. I have a photo of that. The food was terrible and tasted straight out of the freezer. I will never be staying here again. Don't bother - it does all look too good to be true.

Resort is small but well done. Food in buffet is great and the restaurants were all amazing! The biggest issue I had was the slew of sales and services that are pushed on to you at all times. Relentless amounts of people approaching you everywhere. It’s hard to get to the buffet without being approached by someone with the intention of selling you a timeshare. The excursion people also will continually approach you at the pool and anywhere on the resort. This is a first for me. I understand the lobby area having some sales folks in it but my wife and I had to change routes from our room to the buffet to avoid sales men approaching us multiple times! Resort is clean and nice but I have never been more frustrated on a resort. It’s saddens me to say I was released to be leaving. Hope they solve this! Service staff were amazing and it’s a happy resort but this does need to change.

Everything was 10/10 from the beginning until the end, we were greeted by Oscar who was so helpful for the entire stay! We will definitely be coming back. Lisandro made sure that everything was to our liking too! The staff at this hotel was really helpful and nice!

My wife and I stayed in the El Beso area, Lisandro was our conceirge, from Sunday to Thursday in June 2024. Overall we enjoyed our trip. The resort is large and about 45 minutes from the airport. Good: - Many restaurants options, we prefered the al carte options but the buffet was still good. Blue Moon, if you are staying in El Beso and Pez Vela were great. We were invited to the Chef\'s table which was amazing if they offer this you will not be disappointed and you will not leave hungry. - Mike coffee is great for basic coffee drinks, smoothies, and pastries. - The pool bars were a fun time, even in the rain. - The trolley brings you to both ends of the resort with stops in between. -Massages felt amazing, I would highly recommend. Bad: - We had a 90 minute presentation, because we booked through Expedia, where we were suppose to received 2 massages and a bottle of tequila. The presentation lasted 2.5 hours. We received our 2 massages but when asked about the tequia the message I received for 3 days straight "My boss has to bring them over, I will see you in the lobby and I will give it to you". - The connection with the app can sometimes be very slow and any reservations have to be made before 5pm for certain restaurants, except the Hibachi that has to be done in person in front of the Buffet. - The El Beso area the pool did not have any entertainment compared to the surrounding pools, music was played there only one day. I was expecting more energy.

We stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise in the El Beso adults-only section and overall had a great experience. The resort is a good size — big enough to explore but not so large that you can’t walk everywhere. The property is very clean and well-kept, with lots of wildlife around, which gives it a nice tropical feel. Our room was cleaned daily, and the mini bar was always restocked, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and service at the bars and restaurants was excellent. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to relax. There were plenty of dinner options, and we rarely ate at the buffet since the à la carte restaurants were so good. Our favorite was Blue Moon, which had great food for both breakfast and dinner, and the host there was always welcoming. A big shoutout to Lisandro, our concierge, who went above and beyond. Our mini fridge wasn’t working on the first day, and he got it fixed right away, then surprised us with a bottle of champagne and desserts. He also gave us a helpful checkout tip that saved us time and money at the airport. A couple of downsides — the beach is quite rocky, and there isn’t much space to relax by the water. Also, there are people around selling excursions and activities, but they’re never pushy and leave you alone if you say no. Overall, the food, cleanliness, and staff made for a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Number of pools to spend time at. Whole kids park and building separating families with small kids and adults only building/pool. Great food options, and pleanty of choice. Whole place was very clean. Staff very friendly. Buy or bring your own volleyball if you want to play.... outside playing with the Activity coordinator for the 11am or 4pm hour. $18us for a ball at the resort. Bowling alley and sports bar/disco were also great. Would recommend this place.

The property was beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Pools were very cold, we opted for the ocean instead. We stayed in El Beso- Adult only. I had to ask to be moved as my room was directly in front of the pool, with the music blaring all day, way to much for this old fart!. We upgraded to swim up rooms, would never do again, waste of money, pool in front was small and freezing, no sun all day. Looked pretty but not useable. Rooms very nice and cleaned each day. Bar wasn't stocked regularly and only offered canned beer, yuk. That was ok though as you could go anywhere and get a beverage. Food was standard all inclusive. Did not have one meal that was memorable or wow, but neither did we have any meals that were gross. Best food, at the beach, good burgers and pizza and the view was stunning. The reservation restaurants were hustling you in and out only allowing 1 hour per group. Night club was ok, need to upgrade their music, stuck in the 2000's for sure, same songs on repeat but again it was ok. One thing I didnt appreciate is the wolves at the lobby of the restaurant trying to sell you on time share or investments on future resorts. As many times as I said no, they kept uping the anti with more free things. I think its rude, I am paying my dollars to go to your resort to be hounded by people trying to sell me stuff. Complete turn off! I would go to this resort again sans high pressure sales staff!

Overall it was a nice, pretty property. There was a decent amount of dining options, but wait times could be long, not everything is open everyday, and if you weren't a "privilege member" you could only get reservations by purchasing a bottle of wine. Service was also unrealiable, a few bartenders were very good and attentive, while at 2 different dinners we never even got served water or any drinks we ordered - had to walkout (and that takes a lot, my girlfriend and I are both service industry so we're very patient). The "fully stocked minibar" is 2 cans of beer, water, and some soda. In addition many alcohol varieties are the bar were also only for "privilege members", unless you paid upcharges. We upgraded to the rooftop junior suite in the "El Beso adults only" area. The "adults only" area was just the adjacent pool, and the Blue Moon restaurant. Anywhere else there were screaming kids constantly. That being said, they had tons of activities for kids, plus their own snack/play areas. There were some cool parts. The cenote area towards the middle of the resort had howler monkeys and coati (adorable racoon/lemur like animals) that would come upclose and personal every morning. The beach area was small, but nice. Overall I'd give our experience around a 3/5. It was pleasant, but the "all-inclusive" aspect was hardly what we've received at similar resorts. It seems like a good destination for families, but not as much for couples.

Ocean Riviera Paradise El Beso – Honest Review Overall, this resort has some nice highlights but also a few drawbacks. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The buffet offered a good variety of food, and the coffee shop and late-night snack bar (open until 6 am) were great perks. The margaritas at the Mexican restaurant were excellent — especially the jamaica margarita! The bowling alley was also a fun addition, even though playtime is limited to about 10 minutes per person. The main disappointment was the beach — very small, with large sandbag barriers and cloudy water that took away from the usual Caribbean charm. Entertainment was not as organized or lively as other resorts, and the prizes for games were always just a T-shirt. The shows at nights were at a much lower quality compared to other resorts. The nightclub felt more like a sports bar, and the DJ stuck to the same playlist all night without taking requests. The worst was the constant pressure to upgrade to their “Privilege” package got annoying after a while. The resort seemed to catered to Privilege guests only. In short, it’s a comfortable resort with decent food, great margaritas, and a few fun extras, but the beach, entertainment, and upselling take away from the overall experience.

Pros: Nice rooms, lots of dining options with great food, great customer service at bars and restaurants. Cons: entertainment wasn’t great, not many activities or shows. Was told non motorized activities would be free but kayaking was $12pp. There was also a lot of sales people constantly trying to get you to upgrade or buy a timeshare which was annoying.

My stay at Ocean River Paradise in El Beso was absolutely amazing! Everything about this trip was perfect and truly enjoyable. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, exactly what I was hoping for. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and the restaurants served delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, always ready to help with a smile. I also loved the entertainment and activities the hotel offered—they really made my trip unforgettable. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends!

I liked that it was an app to navigate your stay that showed all activities for the day, it allowed you to make reservations to their restaurants and order room service. Antonio and Angel at Privilege was amazing. They made sure we didnt need anything and made our vacation wonderful. The only thing i would say is if you think you are booking adults only, it is only one building out the entire resort, with one restaurant and one pool. Other than that, i still had a great time.

Il resort e molto bello, ben tenuto e pulito, abbiamo avuto un problema di acqua calda che e stato risolto dopo aver dovuto chiamare parecchie volte, in camera per il servizio bar abbiamo dovuto chiedere quasi tutti i giorni il caffè per 3 persone, ma ogni volta avevamo la stessa risposta, il caffè e per 2 persone. I prodotti di pulizia tipo shower gel, shampoo ect ect non sono mai stati riempiti e, le asciugamani se non richieste ogni volta per 3 persone erano sempre per 2 o mancanti in tutti i formati. Il mangiare a parte il ristorante Giapponese non e un granché,pochissime cose buone. Per il resto un bellissimo posto. Piccola pecca...troppi profumatori nelle aree comuni e nei ristoranti, per i miei gusti troppo fastidiosi!! spese nel ristorante Francese che , per questo motivo talmente forte che non abbiano neanche cenato

The resort was beautiful and my room was more than expected. The only downside was the racoons and coati that were running through the resort and they even came in restaurant trying to get food from off table or from guest. They were not harmful just overwhelming. The staff did try to get us to attend a presentation to sell there "timeshare" options. They were a little aggressive with it.

The food was ok. It is not a 5 star property. A better rating would be 3.5. The food was a big disappointment. The lunch snack shacks by the pools were the worst. There was not much variety (beef burgers, chicken burger or 3 different sweet creapes) and the beef burgers did not taste like actual meat. They tasted more like a gas station burger. The best place for lunch is the restaraunt on the beach, Pez Vela. The food was good and the ocean breeze kept it cool. The Sakura restaurant was nice and put on a good show. The steak restaurant is good. I would recommend the caesar salad and family dinner. The Italian was delicious and has very good atmosphere. We ate at the Blue moon (adults only) for breakfast twice. It was very good food and had very good service. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet a few times. The service was hit and miss. Mainly miss. I would order a diet pepsi and my adult son would order a Pepsi. Most times we didn't end up getting them. Sometimes we got 2 of 1 kind. The food was ok at best. They did have a microwave available to heat the food up if needed. The restaurants do have ac but it can not keep up with the heat. It is very hot in them. The pools are very nice and the highlight of the hotel. We stayed mainly in the El Beso (adults only) pool. It was calm and had a few activities like volleyball and bingo. If you want to go for the beach and ocean, this is not the hotel for you. There are piles of sargassum on shore and extends in ocean

It was bad, terrible, horrible. The pictures on the site are misleading. If you don’t like sharing the resorts property with Mexican raccoons ( google it, it is a such thing), regular raccoons, monkeys in trees, deer, cats, iguanas, and crocodiles. The food wasn’t good, the pools only looked good at night with the blue lights in them. If you do book, make sure that you keep both locks on your balcony door locked because if not you’ll have an unwanted animal invading your room. This property isn’t exclusively an “Adults Only” property either, Kids were everywhere!

If you don’t like sharing the resorts property with Mexican raccoons ( google it, it is a such thing), regular raccoons, monkeys in trees, deer, cats, iguanas, and crocodiles. The food wasn’t good, the pools only looked good at night with the blue lights in them. If you do book, make sure that you keep both locks on your balcony door locked because if not you’ll have an unwanted animal invading your room. This property isn’t exclusively an “Adults Only” property either, Kids were everywhere!

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and it's a great getaway with lots of restaurant options and very close to the beach. Although advertised as adults only, there are kids on the resort, and designated "adults only" sections, pools, and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!
