A very Italian property with typical rooms for Rome. Very comfortable and quiet at night. Close to the Vatican City, you can see the walls. The breakfast in the upstairs patio was excellent with fantastic views .

The place was beautiful and very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. We would have loved to have a little hot pot to heat up water for instant coffee like many places elsewhere but apparently that’s a crime against espresso vendors or something but we loved the hotel it was magnificent.

Hotel is very dated. I'd say not been updated a since the 1970s. That said it was clean and the the staff were very friendly . No tea/coffee facilities in the room is a big let down

The property sits right next to the Sistine Chapel Museum entrance and walking distance to St.Peter’s Basilica (Vatican). The only issue we had was the washroom in our room 107 had mold growing all over the shower wall. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located close to the Vatican which is what we wanted. The room was adequate. Unfortunately we discovered that there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling after it rained. The water traveled from the bathroom into our bedroom. The staff thanked us for letting them know but didn’t offer any other information.

The room was dated but the room was big with lots of storage. The bathroom was disappointing as there was crusty yellow bits along the bottom of the shower screen, there was peeling paint from the tiles and the bathroom had a sewage smell. There was also high step out of the shower and no rail to hold onto my mum nearly slipped. on the night of packing i noticed silverfish bugs on the floor, i would have complained but as i was leaving there was no point. Beds where comfy and fully working aircon and fridge which was handy and the bonus was the Vatican was a 2 mins walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Location was literally steps from the Vatican museum. We did find a small ant colony in our room. The safe in the room also wasnt bolted down you could have walked away with it. Restaurants in the area were very good and reasonably priced

The lobby looks absolutely nothing like the lobby pictured on Expedia‘s app. I had a single room for two nights, and you could barely turn around the last night. I had to change rooms. I had to pack everything up myself, move everything down to the lobby come back in the afternoon and they gave me the room directly next-door. That was a double room so much more spacious

The room was new/refurbished and spacious for European standards and it was also very clean. It is 12 min walk from Ottaviano metro station and 10 minutes from EMO bus stop and is close to vatican museum. The only drawback is there is no coffee in the room or a coffe machine in the permise. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful - this is a great place to stay if you have a lot of tours lined up - the front desk is staffed 24/7 - there is water and drinks available for purchase 24/7 and rooftop was nice and breakfast convenient in morning. Giving a 3 since the AC was not able to be used during my stay (guess it’s a law so not really the hotel’s fault but it was too hot and muggy and had to leave my windows open all night with no window screens -

It was literally at tge entrance of vatican museums. Couldn't be any closer. We stayed tgere in April 2025. Tge rooms got quite hot in the nught. No a/c controls. Expect tge rooms to be small..not an issue ffor us.

My sole reason for booking this hotel was for its proximity to the Vatican and it didnt disappoint. I planned to see Pope Leo say mass which I successfully managed after a mere 5 minutes walk away. Yes the room is small, the shower is literally the smallest I have ever witnessed in all my years of travelling, BUT, the staff were super lovely and couldn't be more helpful if they tried. The room was clean, the shower worked, that's all I needed, and it was cheap given its location. If you want a big fancy room then dont book this hotel, if you want a great location with good amenities and great staff for a great price - this is the place for you.

Encontré al recepcionista del hotel en mi habitación con la caja de seguridad abierta y buscando dentro de ella, lo corrí de mi cuarto y al contar mi dinero me di cuenta que me había robado $ 500 Euros, exigí se llamara al gerente el cual nunca contestó ni se apareció en el Hotel, llamé a la policía la cual si contestó y llegó ( mis respetos), dijeron tenía que hacer una denuncia en la estación, el gerente nunca dio la cara, lo que es bastante extraño y preocupante, había escuchado que en Roma te roban en el metro, pero si te hospedas en este hotel, existe gran probabilidad que lo hagan dentro de tu habitación.

The hotel was centrally located, basic and clean, however my son had money stolen from his bag in his room. He reported it to management who claims they reported it to their insurance company. There are many other places to stay that are safer with more comforts.

Hotel bem localizado. Ao lado da entrada do Museu do Vaticano. Bom para visitar as coisas desse lado da cidade. Não é longe tambem pra ir andando do centro. Tem bons restaurantes e um carrefour próximo. O hotel já é datado mas confortável. Como a maioria dos hoteis da europa tem um péssimo chuveiro estilo conta-gotas. O atendimento na recepção é bem gentil. Late check-out até as 17h por 50 euros. O check-out normal, no entanto, é terrivelmente cedo as 10h.

Absolute wonderful hotel! We arrived in Rome on an early long flight and were tired. We got to the hotel around 10am. They asked us to leave our lugguage and suggested a cute breakfast place. When we returned around 1:30pm, they allowed us an early check-in! Not only was that a great surprise, but the room we were assigned was amazing with a gorgeous terrace. The staff was, especially a curly-haired gentleman, were courteous and attentive with great suggestions for all of our questions.

Receptionist was very rude and give me hard time with check in. I have to paid extra city taxes after booking at check out. It was very cold at night and the heating system is not working cause some city green deal rules. Room outdated. One good thing was closed to Vatican and main attractions.

1 block away for Vatican museums Our room had a nice balcony and slept 3 comfortably. High ceilings. Breakfast on roof was a nice small buffet. 1st tine in rome and we would stay here again. Walking distance to subway. Being from nyc it was easy to figure out. 7 euros for 24 he train/bus service was perfect. But be prepared to walk.

I would recommend this location especially if you want to be near the Vatican. The have a great little supermarket across the street for some convenient food and anything you need. Love that it was close enough to allot of places but tugged away in a little quiet area. Would go back.

Location was extremely convenient for the Vatican museum, and not a long walk to St. Peter's. There were good restaurants in the area and an easy walk from the Metro A line. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided me with information on a walking tour that covered many of the major sights - it was a lot of walking but hopping on the Metro was easy for the return trip. The room was clean and perfect for a single - twin bed with good air conditioning.

No face cloths when I asked for some. Thé breakfast à waste of money, it was horrible. Thé scrambled eggs looked like they were left over from the previous day and were dried up and cold. Thé beans looked ok but were cold. The weiners were dried out and cold, thé bacon was cold and was floating in grease, fried dark dark to a crisp and hard to chew and cold. Thé cold cuts ham and chicken were sticky and were not fresh, leftovers. After the second day I bought 2 tomatoes and had a tomato sandwich with their bread. My husband had cereal which he enjoyed but for someone with allergies to nuts I wouldn’t take a chance on eating thé cereal. I wouldn’t recommend buying the breakfast for 20.00. There are a lot of restaurants nearby to have a beautiful breakfast and for cheaper. Location is very good, front desk staff were very helpful,friendly and professional.

Det er nu fjerde gang at vi bor på Hotel Museum. Vi elsker stedet og omgivelserne. Tæt på metro og mange fantastiske spisesteder. Hotellets morgenmad er ikke noget særligt, men man får lidt at starte dagen på. Vi kommer igen næste år.

Este hotel tiene todo lo necesario para un buen hospedaje en Roma. A 3 cuadras del metro Ottaviano. Literal a 50mts de la entrada de los Museos del Vaticano. Hay muchos y muy buenos restaurantes alrededor y un par de supermercados (Carrefour etc). El desayuno muy bien surtido, panes, frutas, jugos, cafe, cereales, huevo, jamones y quesos. Muy buen internet y caja de seguridad en el cuarto.

The hotel. Staff were excellent, the location was across the steps to the Vatican museum entrance , so lots of tourists hence lots of garbage left around that the city did not clean up. Not the fault of this hotel though. The rooftop terrace was closed so they need to update their website as that was why I chose to stay there. Our breakfast was sufficient, not a lot of choices though. Room was small but air conditioning worked well. Bathroom facilities were small and older local restaurants are with in walking distance, but if I were to come again I would stay on the other side of the river as that is where all the historical attractions were. .
