This was a little gem hidden in Cordoba. Our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and tasty. You can walk to all the sites. This historic hotel surpassed our expectations. The bonus was the roof top terrace- beautiful at night.

Adored this boutique hotel.from the moment we entered and were greeted with cool glass of lemonade, to the entire staff, to the charming room with Moroccan decor. I can’t recommend highly enough. Great location, magical roof terrace: only 12 rooms so I count myself very lucky to have stayed here. It is my new “Happy Place”

Had to abandon our reservation because no where did it say that if you had a rental car you would have to park in a public parking where you can barely maneuver and then take your own bags a few blocks up hills by yourself. A disaster, stay away if you are driving!

Beautiful old building completely renovated with lovely mudejar touches. Very convenient to all the sights and public parking lot, while also being quiet. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great place and we would definitely go back.

Beautiful historic hotel within walking distance of most sights as well as shops and eateries. Lovely room with wonderful huge tiled bath, curtained bed, nice furniture and attractive floral arrangements. Lovely welcome - sat in the courtyard with chilled fruit juice & sweets, while man on duty talked about the sights and annotated a map for me. Staff friendly and helpful throughout. Roof terrace has views. Good breakfast. Options for placement of iPad, for working, a bit limited. Would stay again.

No on-site parking. You'll likely have to park a km away, or more, and then walk to the hotel. The uniqueness of the bathroom really affords no privacy within the room. It's basically using the toilet behind a window.

Quiet, clean, beautifully decorated and excellent service. Close to everything!

The hotel has serious repair issues. Water poured inside under heavy rain. Too expensive for the quality provided.

Our room was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we've had throughout our travels. The staff was amazing. My husband went to high school and college in Madrid; he said they had the best sangrias!

I love that this hotel was initially an old andalucian house. The check in was perfect, our room had a traditional hammam. Clean witha nice smell everywhere. Breakfast was good

Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. A special mention goes to Paloma and Yousef, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Paloma went above and beyond with her recommendations—her suggestion to dine at La Regadera turned out to be a true hidden gem, offering a gourmet experience at an amazing price. Thanks to the wonderful staff and the inviting atmosphere, our short visit to Córdoba was unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and personalized stay.

This hotel is so charming and special, and exceeded my expectations completely. Our junior suite was spacious and beautiful, with gorgeous Mezquita views, a large pool-like tiled bathtub, plenty of space to hang clothes, and a full length mirror (I find these are often missing from hotel rooms!). The pillows, bed linens and towels are all high quality. We were offered homemade lemonade upon check-in, and also had truffles and mini bottles of cava waiting in our room. The concierge Youssef made sure we always had everything we needed, and was so helpful in offering recommendations and booking tickets. It's a small hotel and operation, but the hospitality was truly fantastic. It's also in a WONDERFUL central location close to tons of bars, restaurants and little shops - within ~15m walk of most of the spots to see in Cordoba. Absolutely loved our stay!

The hotel is absolutely charming. It’s a very old, but extremely well, and lovingly restored. However, that said, they have worked with the footprint they were given, so our room as small, the bathroom small. I don’t know if there are larger suites upstairs, but the only thing our room did have, which was fun, was a mikvah (ritual bath for purification prior to entry into the Temple).

Excellent staff and an attractive, unique property. The room is very distinctive though the bathroom arrangement is slightly awkward. Very convenient location to just about everything in Cordoba.

We loved Hotel Madinat. Our room was elegant was light and spacious, beautiful with high ceilings, and a huge bathtub. It felt very much like we were aristocrats in the 1800s, living in the charming, historic center.

The hotel was very stylish. We stayed in the Walada room which was very spacious. Because the streets of Cordoba are narrow people walking by being noisy can be heard but it must be the same all over the whole town!

Good location. Not the most private bathroom in room, a few glass partitions. First day of our two day stay ac/hvac controller didnt work, but next day it was fixed. Delicious breakfast.

This Hotel is in the heart of old city, close to The Great Mosque & the Roman bridge & many other point of interest. Make sure to check your room before agreeing. Some rooms are very poorly designed, toilet right in the middle & hardly any room to spread your suitcases. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay. Staffs were very helpful & pleasant.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Madinat in early May and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. We received an excellent overview of the city and the hotel at check in - best we've ever had. The staff did a great job in getting us restaurant reservations, a taxi to the train station, etc. They have a real passion for their hotel and their city. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The shower in our room was a bit small but a very interesting design. The incorporation of artistic elements into our room and the common areas was very well done. All in all, we give the Hotel Madinat are highest recommendation.

Well renovated from house of old town, well equipped and decoration. However, you need a very good radar to locate the correct path to where the hotel locate, since it is not in the main street.

Wonderful eco boutique hotel! Felt like family when we were there, delicious breakfast! We were there the night Spain lost power and no cafes or restaurants were open. The hotel provided candles and dinner for all guests & were exceptional with keeping us up to date with information. Thank you!! Its also extremely eco conscious as they used everything on site and upcycled everything!!

Staying at the Hotel Madinat is like staying with old friends (if your old friends had luxurious rooms, a warm and welcoming staff and a breakfast buffet that will have you skipping lunch). You enter the hotel through a beautifully tiled entryway that opens into a marble-floored courtyard with a beautiful fountain (sadly, no longer flowing) to be greeted by some of the friendliest people in the world. Paloma insisted we leave our bags and relax while she served us homemade lemonade and sweets. After a bit of decompression, we were shown to our room, a lovely king room on the third floor, which is one floor below the rooftop deck, a great place to enjoy the 360 degree view of Cordoba’s Old City. The Madinat is a restored manor house, a family-owned affair where every little detail – and I do mean EVERY LITTLE DETAIL – has been attended to with pride and love. You get the impression that the staff is proud to work at the Madinat and that pride demands that they attend to your every need. Our room was spacious with a number of modern touches that made it really comfortable, not just quaint. The bathroom facilities take a bit of getting used to but they are efficient and quiet. The room itself is also quiet and the complimentary chocolate truffles are nothing short of wonderful. The hotel is very well located and only a few minutes walk to the Mezquita, the Alcazar. Get lost in the warren of streets and then enjoy a wonderful dinner at Casa Pepe. You'll LOVE the Madinat
