Lovely Riad with great staff. Pool a little too warm but nice pool area. Breakfast was a little uninspired and A/C uneven and slow in room. Great common spaces. Might consider pursuing liquor license …. Would have been nice to have a glass of wine after a full day sightseeing.

I cannot recommend highly enough! Fabulous hotel with brilliant staff members. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly & so efficient. Perfect location; a calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of Jemaa El Fnaa square. The pool area is stunning. Excellent food.

Great hotel (ryad) on the quiet side of the main market square. Fantastic location to everything and quiet enough to get lots of sleep. The hotel is not huge, nor small. Plenty of common areas to hang out including a roof-top deck, with heated pool. All the staff are excellent and their food is also. Rooms are very nice and quite large.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. We had sign up for a tour group so it was very convenient to stay at this hotel and walk 4 mins to the meeting point. The hotel was very clean and love the traditional look. The hotel had a great rooftop and pool to enjoy. Will definitely come back in the future!

Very unique and beautiful property--it really highlighted the vibe of Moroccco. It was right in the Jemma el-Fnaa square, so very vibrant area. It would have been difficult to find the hotel (as it was right in the square and unaccessible by taxi), but my taxi driver arranged a hand cart operator to escort us to the hotel, with luggage in tow. We were greeted at the door by the staff and provided tea upon arrival. As were Expedia VIP guests, they also provided nice snacks in our room. The room was beautiful (nice, hot shower after a long flight), and the dinner on the rooftop terrace was amazing (you could see the action of the marketplace square from the terrace). The staff was very attentive and made us feel like pure royalty. I wish we could've stayed much longer, but we were only there for one night, as we had many excursions planned, beginning immediately after an early checkout the next morning. Breakfast was not to begin until 7:30 am, but the chef arrived early (7 am) since we had to leave early, and the breakfast buffet was ready at 7 am, as promised--I was thoroughly impressed at this service. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely return there on my next stay in Marrakech!

Cet hôtel prétend être un hôtel de luxe alors qu’il n’y a absolument rien de luxueux. Nous avons subi pendant notre séjour de 4 jours au mois de juillet des coupures de courant à répétition et donc d’eau et de wifi, soit disant pour cause de travaux. Nous avons dû nous même aller à la réception pour voir ce qu’il se passe et pour que le chef de réception très désagréable, ne trouve rien d’autre à nous dire que ce n’est pas de sa faute et qu’il faut attendre que le courant revienne. Personne n’est venue à notre chambre nous informer de la situation. Étant donné qu’il n’y a pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, ce qui de base n’est pas problématique mais dans ce cas là c’était le noir total…. Investir dans des lanternes ou lampes à pile ne serait pas de trop pour dépanner. Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait ne serait ce que sur une bouteille d’eau prise du mini bar, rien. Les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorisées, nous étions à l’étage du bas et entendions beaucoup les personnes au dessus de nous. L’eau de la piscine ne rafraîchit pas, proche de la température de l’eau d’un bain. Je tiens quand même à dire que les autres membres du personnel étaient très sympathiques et nous ont conseillés sur les choses à voir. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel car pour le prix on s’attend à être traité mieux que cela et ces péripéties ont gâché notre séjour.

Lovely stay at Ryad Art Place in Marrakesh. It was beautifully decorated with a roof top pool and large high quality restaurant and breakfast selection. A true oasis right next to the main bazaar and action of the market.

This hotel is simply amazing. It is extremely beautiful, the location is fantastic and the staff couldn’t be better. The breakfast is spectacular, with a really nice terrace facing Jemaa el-Fna square. Special shout out to Rabi, Brahim, Yousuf and the doorman! Highly recommend.

Location on the Jemaa al fna square made our visit easy and walkable to all major sites. Quiet and pristine clean. Staff made all arrangements feom dinner recommendations to an amazing and reasobly priced family oriented spa. The service staff were lovely and attentive to our family. We visited two years ago and stayed in an amazing riad. But this gem is a riad palace. Will absolutely visit again.

We stayed in three different Ryads during our 10-day stay in Marrakech, so we are using this information to write this review. The place is located right next to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which is very interesting touristically. But they close it during certain times, making it very inconvenient to access the Riad: if you get a transfer or even to get some tours pick-up/drop-off they can't access it so you will have to walk a couple blocks (sometimes walking with your luggage and/or at very inconvenient times). so accessibility is an issue. The staff was fine, not rude but very serious compared with other places. This Ryad may have been a better place a couple of years ago, but now it looks outdated and not well taken care of. There is a clear lack of cleanliness at least in the room we stayed in, we thought about playing a bit extra and staying in this place but it was a bad decision. There were live ants inside the water kettle in our room, after letting the reception desk know they sent someone to replace it. Still not a good experience, and we doubt the cleaning of the rest of the place.

Struttura direttamente in piazza Jemaa El Fna. Ottima accoglienza con the e biscotti. Parti comuni puliti e ben tenuti. La camera assegnata non era quella che era pubblicizzata al momento della prenotazione. Camera senza finestra, bagno minuscolo con angolo lavandino veramente piccolo e pavimento rovinato. I letti erano comodi ma a causa di una insufficiente insonorizzazione della camera non ho dormito. La camera era molto pulita. Colazione eccezionale. Non ho potuto cenare al ristorante dell'hotel a causa di un malinteso con la receptionist e non ho usato la piscina per mancanza di tempo. Per concludere direi che la struttura è bella ma per la camera assegnata non la definirei un 5 stelle

We had a great stay at Art Place. The common areas and the restaurant were very nice. Our hotel room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel felt safe and was in a great location right next to the central square and market. We highly recommend this place!

This stay was warm, welcoming and beautiful. Center ally located and close to everything you would want to see and every excursion you would want to go on this Ryad was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating and all of them spoke English. It was safe, secure and guarded even though there were thousands of people just a few footsteps away in the city center. A highly recommended jewel.

The rooms are decorated in a beautiful Morocco style. The beds are ok but not super comfortable. The service is stellar! Concierge and restaurant service was impeccable. I letti erano comodi ma a causa di una insufficiente insonorizzazione della camera non ho dormito. La camera era molto pulita. Colazione eccezionale. Non ho potuto cenare al ristorante dell'hotel a causa di un malinteso con la receptionist e non ho usato la piscina per mancanza di tempo. Per concludere direi che la struttura è bella ma per la camera assegnata non la definirei un 5 stelle

This was a return visit for me. It's always so wonderful to be at this Riad. The entrie staff are very welcoming and kind! I appreciate them making it feel as if I were a very important guest visiting their home. The room is very comfortable and quiet! The meals are yummy! Great location!

Very unique and beautiful property--it really highlighted the vibe of Moroccco. It was right in the Jemma el-Fnaa square, so very vibrant area. It would have been difficult to find the hotel (as it was right in the square and unaccessible by taxi), but my taxi driver arranged a hand cart operator to escort us to the hotel, with luggage in tow. We were greeted at the door by the staff and provided tea upon arrival. As were Expedia VIP guests, they also provided nice snacks in our room. The room was beautiful (nice, hot shower after a long flight), and the dinner on the rooftop terrace was amazing (you could see the action of the marketplace square from the terrace). The staff was very attentive and made us feel like pure royalty. I wish we could've stayed much longer, but we were only there for one night, as we had many excursions planned, beginning immediately after an early checkout the next morning. Breakfast was not to begin until 7:30 am, but the chef arrived early (7 am) since we had to leave early, and the breakfast buffet was ready at 7 am, as promised--I was thoroughly impressed at this service. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely return there on my next stay in Marrakech!

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They arranged dinner reservations for us, had suggestions on what to see and where to go, and held our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the medina a little longer before leaving town. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Cet hôtel prétend être un hôtel de luxe alors qu’il n’y a absolument rien de luxueux. Nous avons subi pendant notre séjour de 4 jours au mois de juillet des coupures de courant à répétition et donc d’eau et de wifi, soit disant pour cause de travaux. Nous avons dû nous même aller à la réception pour voir ce qu’il se passe et pour que le chef de réception très désagréable, ne trouve rien d’autre à nous dire que ce n’est pas de sa faute et qu’il faut attendre que le courant revienne. Personne n’est venue à notre chambre nous informer de la situation. Étant donné qu’il n’y a pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, ce qui de base n’est pas problématique mais dans ce cas là c’était le noir total…. Investir dans des lanternes ou lampes à pile ne serait pas de trop pour dépanner. Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait ne serait ce que sur une bouteille d’eau prise du mini bar, rien. Les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorisées, nous étions à l’étage du bas et entendions beaucoup les personnes au dessus de nous. L’eau de la piscine ne rafraîchit pas, proche de la température de l’eau d’un bain. Je tiens quand même à dire que les autres membres du personnel étaient très sympathiques et nous ont conseillés sur les choses à voir. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel car pour le prix on s’attend à être traité mieux que cela et ces péripéties ont gâché notre séjour.

The staff here is absolutely first rate. The communication is brilliant. The front desk, breakfast staff (especially Rabbi) were absolutely first class. This hotel is a class act. We really loved it from start to finish. Always met with a smile every morning. The breakfast is extensive, pool is a pleasure. Thank you Art Riad. You guys should run hospitality courses.

We stayed at this riad for just one night, as they were fully booked and we had to move to another hotel the next day. Overall, the riad itself was beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff were generally welcoming. However, the experience when checking out left a very negative impression. We asked the front desk to call a taxi to take us to our second riad, which we knew was accessible by car. Instead, the receptionist insisted it was only a 10-minute walk and offered to arrange a luggage porter instead. We trusted his advice. Unfortunately, the porter was an elderly man with a hand-pulled cart who did not know the exact address. Navigating the busy, narrow souk alleys was very difficult. My husband had to guide him using GPS. What was supposed to be a short walk turned into a stressful 20+ minute trek. We eventually reached an alley too narrow for the cart, had to offload our luggage, paid the porter twice the cost of a normal taxi out of sympathy, and carried our bags on foot for another 15 minutes. Ironically, for the next two days, we took taxis back and forth through the souk area with no problem at all, each ride took only about 15 minutes and cost us less than half of what we paid that day. While the riad itself was pleasant, I would strongly recommend double-checking transportation options independently rather than relying on staff recommendations, especially if you have luggage or mobility concerns.

As a Hotels.com Gold member i was expecting several perks, one of them was an early check in. so much so that i even found a letter stating such reward in my suite. sadly, my plane landed at 10:20 AM and i had to wait 5 hours to be given a room. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We had sign up for a tour group so it was very convenient to stay at this hotel and walk 4 mins to the meeting point. The hotel was very clean and love the traditional look. The hotel had a great rooftop and pool to enjoy. Will definitely come back in the future!

The location of the property is remarkable- Inside the Medina of Jemaa el Fnaa; like you are living in the middle of Marrakech life. The staff, especially the driver Mohammed and Restaurant Staff Amine were exceptionally kind and made the stay so special ! The hotel does not have an elevator so be sure to note your needs. Breakfast is served on 2nd floor restaurant The junior suite had 1 full bath and one half and is perfect for 3 people The vendors they contracted with were not as good; such as the hot air balloon company and you may need to do some homework before booking excursions All in all a lovely experience!

The property is in an ideal location, next to the large Jemaa El Fna square, which is always buzzing particularly at night. The hotel is an oasis of calm to retreat to, when this all gets too much, and is safe and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful, with top tips for places to visit and the best restaurants. So much within walking distance - Highly highly recommend

We stayed in three different Ryads during our 10-day stay in Marrakech, so we are using this information to write this review. The place is located right next to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which is very interesting touristically. But they close it during certain times, making it very inconvenient to access the Riad: if you get a transfer or even to get some tours pick-up/drop-off they can't access it so you will have to walk a couple blocks (sometimes walking with your luggage and/or at very inconvenient times). so accessibility is an issue. The staff was fine, not rude but very serious compared with other places. This Ryad may have been a better place a couple of years ago, but now it looks outdated and not well taken care of. There is a clear lack of cleanliness at least in the room we stayed in, we thought about playing a bit extra and staying in this place but it was a bad decision. There were live ants inside the water kettle in our room, after letting the reception desk know they sent someone to replace it. Still not a good experience, and we doubt the cleaning of the rest of the place.

Lovely stay at Ryad Art Place in Marrakesh. It was beautifully decorated with a roof top pool and large high quality restaurant and breakfast selection. A true oasis right next to the main bazaar and action of the market.
Lovely stay at Ryad Art Place in Marrakesh. It was beautifully decorated with a roof top pool and large high quality restaurant and breakfast selection. A true oasis right next to the main bazaar and action of the market.

This hotel is simply amazing. It is extremely beautiful, the location is fantastic and the staff couldn’t be better. The breakfast is spectacular, with a really nice terrace facing Jemaa el-Fna square. Special shout out to Rabi, Brahim, Yousuf and the doorman! Highly recommend.

The hotel/ryad was ok. However, note that it is right in the VERY busy Jamaa el fnaa market square! I didn't hear the noise while in my room but I was a little shock when our taxi driver said we had reached. Between about 10:30am or so, until well after midnight, you have to walk from the busy street to the hotel through the square because the taxi cannot drive there during that time. Takes about 5 minutes. The staff was awesome, the room ok, breakfast which is included was ok. I personally did not like being in the square, but on the positive side, you are near just about all the attractions. We walked to everything.

CLEAN!!! Rooms are beautiful. Pool is nice but not overlooking the Medina. Breakfast is MEH- but rooms are comfy clean and we air conditioned. Good location too.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Marrakech! We had a fantastic 7-night stay at this beautiful riad in the middle of Marrakech. The city’s largest marketplace is right outside the door, bringing all the energy, sounds, and atmosphere you would expect. Yet as soon as you step through the large brass door, you enter a peaceful and elegant oasis. The riad itself is stunning, with a lovely rooftop pool, and the service was exceptional throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a truly great experience, and we would happily stay here again.
