Shangri-La: Forsyth Park Victorian Mansion

I hosted a small group of 4 Bachelorette. This property is clean, spacious and well appointed. There are plenty of places to gather. Parking on the street was easy. Everything we did was a short walk or Uber away. My only suggestion would be to update both outdoor spaces with hard surface furniture.

Immaculate home in great walkable location. Home was very clean and had everything needed for an enjoyable girls trip. Kitchen appliances and accessories well stocked. Highly recommend this home.

We had a Bachelorette trip for a group of 6 girls. The house was just as pictured, but somehow even better in person! The beds were super comfortable, and the house had more than enough room! Its only 1.1 mules from river street, parking was easy on the street and uber was our friend with all the beautiful cobblestone. Would love to return back to the house. Easy check in and check out. Overall, we had a blast and the house was perfect!

Tried to contact owner/manager to let them know about some issues. Once you pay there is no communication outlet. 1. microwave didn't work 2. shower head stopped up/ no water pressure in bathroom faucet 3. no towel racks/hooks in bathroom to dry towels 4. homeless person sleeping beside house- freaky/gross 5. thermostat didn't stay at temp set/ or I didn't know how to operate it 6. no mirrors in bedroom to do hair & makeup. With two bathrooms and possibility sleeping 12 there is no way 6 people can get dressed by using only 2 lighted bathroom mirrors. and no table to put belongings-- such as dresser top, Suitcase and all personal belongings had to be put on floor. 7. poor lighting- either increase wattage in bulbs or have fixtures that produce more light. 8. inside of property was very clean 9. Outside could have been cleaned to sit on patio and porch We did anyway. 10. Fluffy rugs were a tripping hazard and didn't really serve a purpose. 11. We loved Savannah and enjoyed our stay. We had a great time visiting and appreciated the roomy property. We just frequently questioned some things of the accommodation and what the owner/manager was thinking?????

We had a girl trip of 3 generations in our family from 15 yo to 80. The house was spacious and able to easily accommodate the 8 of us. It was clean and equipped with all you needed for a lovely stay. It’s very near Forsyth park and stop 5 on the Old Trolley Town Tour. All our pre-booking and pre- arrival questions were quickly answered.Would stay again!

We spent an amazing long weekend in Savannah. The Shangri-La was the perfect house for our group of eight. The location is wonderful. We walked everywhere! Forsyth Park was two minutes away. The house is very roomy and is well appointed for cooking. Little touches like extra blankets for cozy naps on the coach were available. We loved having our coffee on the back porch every morning. The beds were comfortable. It was helpful to have access to a washer and dryer. The hosts left helpful suggestions for restaurant recommendations and sightseeing ideas. We were able to pay a small fee for a late check out on the last day which was a great option for varying flight times. We would highly recommend the house and would love to stay again when visiting beautiful Savannah!

Took my family to Savannah for Christmas, doing something different. Less gifts and more time spent together making memories. Our stay was wonderful - residence needs a little maintenance - not enough pots and pans to cook meals (residence accommodates 8 people so meals would generally be bigger), stove was gas and only 1 burner lit on its own and the lower oven didn't heat to proper temperature. You rent a house so that you can utilize the kitchen more than you would when staying at a hotel. The toilet upstairs backed up a couple of times and the television upstairs didn't work properly.

This home is simply gorgeous. The high ceilings and tasteful decor make it feel very luxurious. It's a very old home but it's been made to feel very clean and modern. The location is excellent too. You can easily walk downtown or it's a very short drive or Uber. Being able to walk around Forsyth park and to restaurants and grocery stores is a huge plus! Top notch communication from the host, they were always very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. Would definitely stay again!

My friends and I absolutely loved this art filled historic home! It was a stones throw from Forsyth Park and we were able to walk to several restaurants and enjoy the weekend farmers market at the park. Check in was super easy, the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would highly recommend!

We had five girls in our 30's stay for a bachelorette weekend. The neighborhood was very quiet and you are just minutes from Forsyth Park. The house was clean and as described. No issues! Definitely consider for your trip to Savannah.

Our girls' trip was highlighted by this beautiful home. We ended up spending a lot of time in the kitchen and in the living room, talking, laughing and relaxing. The location is ideal. It's very quiet at night yet an easy 15 minute walk to the riverfront or a 5 minute Uber ride. The trolley shuttle picked us up right out front. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Took a girls weekend trip to Savannah and this house was great for our group of seven. Loved the architecture of the home and the neighborhood was close enough to everything that we walked to many of our destinations. Enjoyed it very much!

This is a nicely laid out and artistically decorated 4 bedroom property. Solid Victorian gave our group of 6 acoustical privacy from the raging storm outside while providing a cozy venue during our time indoors. The house and beds were very comfortable. The house is adjacent to Forsyth Park and is brilliantly located for touring historic Savannah. Check in was easy, too.

Gorgeous home. I booked this place for a Girls’/Family weekend. Everyone had their own space and we had plenty of communal space to spend time together. Despite being at the end of Forsyth, we still walked everywhere. Safe, walkable, and beautiful neighborhoods with about a 20 minute walk to shopping and the River district. Would absolutely book again.

Beautiful central and safe location, easy walking distance to a grocery store and a 30 min walk or quick and cheap Uber to downtown! This place was spacious and charming!

My three sisters and I wanted to take our 88 year old mom to Savannah while she is still able to travel. The trip was amazing and this home was simply beautiful, perfect, and perfectly located for everything we wanted to do.

I met up with friends and my brother and sister to celebrate my 50th birthday. Location was terrific. The House was great. We had a fabulous time!

The house was amazing. Plan on staying again next time we are in Savannah. Great location.

Wonderful location! We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with friends and family. It was nice and quiet to be across from the park! Easy access to groceries and restaurants. We would love to rent this space again!
