Always like break it down into pros & cons. Pros: Clean and functional rooms of a decent size and in a very good location. Cons: Reception seem indifferent and disconnected from the guest. They keyed us in to a room overlooking the river but some else's luggage was already there so we were moved to a lower floor overlooking the street with not even an apology. We thought it very unprofessional for a 6 night stay booked months in advance. The adjacent car park is convenient, privately owned, underground ,and unsecured. Very tight and no place for a large vehicle. The elevator and stairwell is dirty and poorly maintained. Make up your own mind on this one.

We chose this hotel because it was in easy reach of the Old Town and the main shopping street. The room was superb and very spacious, we had a huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking nearby and if you went to a storey ending with a B, a lift brought you up to street level, right in front of the hotel. This was chargeable but very convenient. The only downside side was that the restaurant menu was very limited for a vegetarian. There was one main dish which wasn’t really to our liking, so we ate out, intending to eat at the hotel the following day. However, when we went to the restaurant, the same menu was being served all week! Luckily, there were several good restaurants in walking distance. There was also a Tram Stop right outside the hotel. We would certainly stay at this hotel when visiting Tours in the future!

The room we’d been allocated hadn’t been made up properly…the bed had been slept in and there was no bedding. We were given another room but some of the soap dispensers were empty and left upturned. There were alternatives supplied but not a good look.

Great location right on the river and close to the old town, and the main shopping street. Restaurants and coffee shops all close by. Hotel is small and but functional.
