The hotel is beautiful and the service was great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I like the high quality food and beverages that were served. My time there was very relaxing. The spa was very clean and comforting. I would definitely plan another trip and stay at this location.

The property is beautiful and well appointed. I like that it doesn't feel too big and the pool is very relaxing. The spa and gym amenities are fantastic. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and well laid out. 10/10

Everything was great, except there was no shade at the pool unless you rented a cabana for $200. There was a ton of weeds on the beach. Beautiful property.

The hotel was great. Two beautiful pools and next to the ocean. The restaurants were very good and the service was extraordinary. It’s a great hotel and brand new. Just opened in November 2022.

Absolutely beautiful part property in a newly developed portion of the beach. It is extremely calm and tranquil and very relaxing. The staff here is amazing and bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and address you ever need before you even think of it. It is a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation and I hope to come back soon.

I would like to give this resort a 10 out of 10 staff was phenomenal. Cleanliness housekeeping was great dining options. We’re great to choose from even in room service pools were clean. The only downside was we couldn’t go into the ocean just because there was the water alert for seaweed When we arrive to the hotel we were welcomed with a drink and smiling staff. I definitely will come back later in the future.

The SPA = PERFECTION. All aspects from décor, service, cleanliness, level of detail, everything was 10/10. Worth every dollar and is a must. The lobby staff was excellent, helping with our luggage and transportation the whole week. We had a swim up room and the pool was FREEZING cold with no way to be heated. There is a tiny plunge pool that could be heated, but it only fits 2 people comfortably. At JAO, we had the guac appetizer (delicious), fish beef tacos (underwhelming), especially for being over $30 USD for 3 small tacos. We were 1 of 3 tables and service was extremely slow… took 20 minutes just to get our drinks. The pool consistently had the best service-10/10 everyday. However, we ordrered regular margs ($19 USD) with reposado tequila. We werfe charged a ~$3 upgrade per drink for the repo, AND each drink had an additional “prep fee” of ~$5 USD. Scam- Makes zero sense. For room service we ordered 2 “prime” burgers (a staggering $34 each) and fettuccine ($19) add shrimp ($18). All items were horrible. The pasta and shrimp tasted like cardboard, unseasoned. The burger was NOT “prime” quality and completely burnt. A few bites in, we called and had them remove it and refund us the money, which they did politely. That night, at 1:30 am as we are trying to sleep, this awful loud sound started roaring outside. They were power washing near the pool. Why on earth would you choose that time to do it? Chaya had the slowest/worst service and food was mediocre.

Our room faced the ocean as most of them are Ocean front. The rooms are well appointed and a large shower that opens up to a plunge pool. It’s a very romantic hotel and we have stayed at many Waldorfs around the world, and we have never been disappointed. I read reviews about how expensive the food was, which I found was reasonable for the quality and for the Waldorf. The beach is walkable and the Ocean is not clear blue waters, but it’s private and the pools at the hotel make up for it. We enjoyed our stay but if you want variety and more stimulation this may not be the place to stay. For us it was about tranquility, sun and just enjoying the luxury experience of the Waldorf.

Beautiful property but huge maintenance issues. It was raining in the restaurant twice because of leak from room upstairs. Price at restaurant are more expensive than the most expensive restaurants in NYC. Impossible to eat out because their is nothing within 30min.

We spent a week here and all we can say is wow. From the drive up to the entrance you’ll be blown away. The main lobby alone is an exceptional experience all by itself. The building is an architectural masterpiece. As a business owner in real estate development, sales and marketing I have to say that our experience here was inspirational. From the bell men to the entire staff, I can assure you that you’ll be impressed. Their entire staff is well trained to give topnotch service with a smile at all times. When we arrived the lady manager that welcomed us was just amazing. She assisted us and gave us as much information as needed. They have 3 exceptional restaurants that you can visit. All offering a wide range of culinary experiences. Alongside this, you’re able to order room service at extended time periods with a good variety of food options. The rooms are not just clean, they are beyond clean. The incredible smell flows through the entire property to the rooms. The impressive granite flooring flows throughout the room to the shower and countertops. The blend of sky blue and gold makes you feel like royalty having the 5 star experience of a lifetime. The room decor with gold finishes will take your breath away. If you love design and decor, you’ll love the rooms here and no aspect of the layout will disappoint. To top it all off is having private jacuzzi’s in every room. The outdoor oasis and spa areas will blow your mind. The views from every room is heavenly.

The rooms were beautiful had amazing ocean views cute hot tubs on the patio so you have your own private hot tub. Room service was so sweet very accommodating. All staff was very friendly very welcoming. Food was phenomenal and if you sit by the pool, make sure you sit with Patricia she is absolutely amazing. She helped to make our stay one of a kind.

What was most striking was the staff there, who all made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. Below you will find a list and brief description of the hotel members that stuck out to us most strongly. In terms of complaints, our major complaint was the last two nights of our stay. Another group of guests was put adjacent to us. They had two small children, and the baby cried intensely all night. There was also extremely loud snoring. I don’t know if the walls are just thin, or if it was the fact that the rooms are conjoining, but either way it was unsettling and made it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, it really soured the last leg of our stay a bit. We also felt like we were in a bit of a moral quandary. We did not want to move rooms, as we had been in our current room for 4 nights already and were very settled. We also did not want to call and request that they be moved, as they seemed to have plenty on their plate (their baby would not stop crying), so we thought it best to just power through and let you all know in the review. Other minor complaints. The shades in the room did not always work and were a little finicky. I thought that the hydrotherapy should have been included in the room rate on a first come first serve basis. As a solo female traveler this was the best place in Cancun to stay and feel safe and taken care of. The place is stunning, quiet, relaxing. I received a tour when I arrived from my personal concierge. Daily I was asked if I needed anything. Before my excursion the bellman had a bag with a towel and water ready for me. My transportation would not come into the hotel entrance so the bellman took me and picked me up at the drop off location. The food was outstanding. The plunge pool outside on the balcony looks directly at the tranquil beach and was delightful! The Miami Vice drink was the best one I’ve ever had. The personal attention you receive here is off the charts. I will make this my go-to hotel from now on!

Beautiful property with excellent service. Stayed in a suite which had lots of space. There’s one set of elevators for guests so it was a long walk as our room was at the end of the property. Poolside service was the best. Food and drink prices were very high but I guess that’s the case for most high end properties.

The SPA = PERFECTION. All aspects from décor, service, cleanliness, level of detail, everything was 10/10. Worth every dollar and is a must. The lobby staff was excellent, helping with our luggage and transportation the whole week. We had a swim up room and the pool was FREEZING cold with no way to be heated. There is a tiny plunge pool that could be heated, but it only fits 2 people comfortably. At JAO, we had the guac appetizer (delicious), fish beef tacos (underwhelming), especially for being over $30 USD for 3 small tacos. We were 1 of 3 tables and service was extremely slow… took 20 minutes just to get our drinks. The pool consistently had the best service-10/10 everyday. However, we ordrered regular margs ($19 USD) with reposado tequila. We werfe charged a ~$3 upgrade per drink for the repo, AND each drink had an additional “prep fee” of ~$5 USD. Scam- Makes zero sense. For room service we ordered 2 “prime” burgers (a staggering $34 each) and fettuccine ($19) add shrimp ($18). All items were horrible. The pasta and shrimp tasted like cardboard, unseasoned. The burger was NOT “prime” quality and completely burnt. A few bites in, we called and had them remove it and refund us the money, which they did politely. That night, at 1:30 am as we are trying to sleep, this awful loud sound started roaring outside. They were power washing near the pool. Why on earth would you choose that time to do it? Chaya had the slowest/worst service and food was mediocre.

The rooms were beautiful had amazing ocean views cute hot tubs on the patio so you have your own private hot tub. Room service was so sweet very accommodating. All staff was very friendly very welcoming. Food was phenomenal and if you sit by the pool, make sure you sit with Patricia she is absolutely amazing. She helped to make our stay one of a kind.

What made our trip special were the employees. The service was impeccable, but I feel like we could also have great conversations and learn a little bit about their culture and life, which is great when visiting a different country. Huge shout out to Jesus, who went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. He did it with great professionalism and always a smile.

The hotel was beautiful! The amenities and restaurants were top notch, but there are only three restaurants on site - one of which is very spendy so you’ll likely not dine there nightly…this leaves really two places for dinner if you’ll stay as long as we did (7 days). Don’t let other reviews about the beach deter you, we loved the beach. The seaweed was there but not a big deal and the water was so nice and warm. We went daily :) The staff were honestly the best part about the stay, they were some of the most (if not the most) accommodating group of people I’ve encountered at a hotel. The level of attention and enthusiasm during our stay was just incredible. Thank you especially to Antonio the amazing bellman, Karen at the concierge, Patricia (Patty) out in the pool area and Irvin at Jao. You all went the extra mile always. We appreciate you making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you!

First let me start by saying the resort is absolutely gorgeous, secondly, the staff is like none other as the hotel lives up to their reputation. The restaurants were absolutely delicious and we did not have one bad meal. Now that being said, this hotel is not a party hotel and they lacked night entertainment. If you’re looking to party this is not the hotel for you. If you are newly married or looking for a private resort away from everything then this is the place for you. Asides of not having entertainment it was hard to get an Uber as the hotel pushed their taxi services. It cost 65$ one way to leave anywhere. Prebook your Ubers ahead of time. The resort is about 30 min away from downtown Cancun. So, if you’re looking for privacy and fine dining in a beautiful resort with top tier service this is the hotel for you. I would 💯 return. It is a lil pricey as dinners were 300$ but worth it. This hotel lives up to their reputation just know there is no night entertainment and you’re 30 min away from any action.

We went daily :) The staff were honestly the best part about the stay, they were some of the most (if not the most) accommodating group of people I’ve encountered at a hotel. The level of attention and enthusiasm during our stay was just incredible. Thank you especially to Antonio the amazing bellman, Karen at the concierge, Patricia (Patty) out in the pool area and Irvin at Jao. You all went the extra mile always. Top notch all-around. Just be aware that it’s expensive on top of your room rate. Family of 4 will be spending $600/day on food and beverage. However, food was excellent too.

The SPA = PERFECTION. All aspects from décor, service, cleanliness, level of detail, everything was 10/10. Worth every dollar and is a must. The lobby staff was excellent, helping with our luggage and transportation the whole week. We had a swim up room and the pool was FREEZING cold with no way to be heated. There is a tiny plunge pool that could be heated, but it only fits 2 people comfortably. At JAO, we had the guac appetizer (delicious), fish beef tacos (underwhelming), especially for being over $30 USD for 3 small tacos. We were 1 of 3 tables and service was extremely slow… took 20 minutes just to get our drinks. The pool consistently had the best service-10/10 everyday. However, we ordrered regular margs ($19 USD) with reposado tequila. We werfe charged a ~$3 upgrade per drink for the repo, AND each drink had an additional “prep fee” of ~$5 USD. Scam- Makes zero sense. For room service we ordered 2 “prime” burgers (a staggering $34 each) and fettuccine ($19) add shrimp ($18). All items were horrible. The pasta and shrimp tasted like cardboard, unseasoned. The burger was NOT “prime” quality and completely burnt. A few bites in, we called and had them remove it and refund us the money, which they did politely. That night, at 1:30 am as we are trying to sleep, this awful loud sound started roaring outside. They were power washing near the pool. Why on earth would you choose that time to do it? Chaya had the slowest/worst service and food was mediocre.

The property itself is very nice. The rooms are excellent (including views) and the soaking tub is a nice perk. The pools and the area surrounding the pools are probably the highlight of the resort. Service was excellent most of the time but it was also somewhat hit or miss at the same time. The thing we liked least about our stay was the lack of dining options and the overpriced food in general. Spending $350 per day to eat the same things over and over (two parents two children) was not ideal. Nice for a long weekend but if you're spending 4-7 nights, it can get really repetitive.

The only complaint that we had was that the hot water in our room took forever to come on in the sink, shower and hot tub. This should be fixed.

The hotel is super nice and beautiful . The restaurant are amusing. The pool area, the beach and the bar are increíble . I will come back definitely . The sound of the birds and beach wave are very relaxing. I love this wonderful hotel.

This experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment you entered the lobby to the moment I left, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and their attentiveness to details. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were also very spacious and had a ton of upgrades including a stunning view overlooking their pool and the beach. Everything was incredibly clean. I would definitely return back to this hotel next time!
