The stairs are covered with yellow tape there’s no elevator for the four levels they have, making it extremely difficult to carry luggage up all the stairs. The shower towels had hair on them. Bedsheets are stained and room smelled of mold.

Too busy a location to keep property clean. Had to ask for room change because first thing I saw upon entering my room was a mouse-sized cockroach!! Property is old and run down. Repairs are not made and this place is in bad condition. Of course they don’t care because the money and customers just keep coming. Also, I booked it because of free airport shuttle to airport but when I got there they did not have it.

Me and my husband stayed here for our mini get away we used points from our work to have a room. Our air conditioning barely worked and we were out in the sun ALL DAY for two days water pressure was horrible in the shower and the bed was hard as a rock. The room was an ugly old blue color and the poor elevator looked like it hasn't been fixed up in 10+ years the floor was all torn up.

The wall had a non sanded and unpainted big hole in the wall and there was a very large fee taken as a "deposit" and only half given back! There was also roaches in the room and the pool looked like it hasn't been opened in about 5 years with the looks of the tarp that's over it. This is the worst motel across the United States!!!!

The entrance to the hotel was locked at 5pm when we arrived to checked in. Had to call and wait for quite awhile for someone to unlock the front door to check us in. The front desk was enclosed in bullet proof glass of some kind. It was more imposing than a bank. Had to pass my credit card through a one inch slit to the clerk. I was charged $3 extra, non refundable to put in a $100 deposit for incidentals. In the room, there was an old rusted out air conditioner, non functioning. NO WIFI. Peeling paint, room and facality looked and felt run down. AVOID.

Not clean. Not well maintained and old. Beware of giant cockroaches beneath and inside the metal bed frame if you’re on the first floor! I booked because of free shuttle but once I got there it did not exist.

SAVE YOURSELF TIME - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Room was disgusting, floors were sticky and our soles were black within two minutes of taking shoes off. Towels and blankets smelled like old cigarette smoke, burns in the blankets/sheets/somehow the freezer door??? Roaches under the counter and behind the nightstand. We stayed for 30 minutes before we checked back out and found a new hotel.

This has to be the nastiest, filthist hotel I have stayed at. My feet were black from the dirt on the floor. The walls were not even painted the same color. Looked as if there was water damage in the walls. The connecting room door did not have a lock on the door. My wife and I had to sleep on top of the covers as we were not sure if the sheats were cleaned recently. Horrible Hotel. Stay Away from this place. I cant believe this place is near the Ferrari and Mercedes dealerships in Nashville.

The experience was horrible the room is incredibly disgusting. The room was not clean, stains on the comforter, the bathroom was horrid AND just when I was gone try and make it work…. A ROACH crawled across the floor in front of me!!!!!! YIKES!!! There was mold all inside the pull out couch! I have a video if you want it! the young lady at the desk seem not to be surprised but rather irritated with the fact that I didn’t want to go look at another room but that I just wanted to leave and leave with my money!! Needless to say, they have processed a refund. You get wat u pay for most definitely BUT THE RODEWAY INN IS UNACCEPTABLE!

It’s a cheap stay so expectations were not high. Had to switch rooms because of roaches, next morning go to sink and there are fruit flies coming out of drain. Turn water on, almost no water pressure. Then gathering stuff to leave for the day & power goes out. Now I’m dressing by flashlight. The worst part though, the smell!! Noticed when we left some black mold in the ceiling. Not to mention the trash outside the rooms in the walkways and cigarette burns in the blankets. Place should be ashamed. THE SMELL

This hotel is absolutely HORRIBLE! We walked into our room to find blood on the sheets and roaches in our bed and all over the bathroom! I went to the front desk and they said they'd put us in a different room. We went to the 2nd room and there was boogers all over the wall behind the pillows on the bed, roaches crawling around, and the sheets were filthy! As we were walking out of that room, the lady from the front desk was waiting for us at the opposite end of the building to show us a different room. We walked in and immediately noticed cigarette burns in the covers and sheets. I told them we would just leave. They told me to contact my booking app and they'd issue a refund. When I asked for something on paper stating that I dis not stay there, she tried to hand me a receipt for my deposit. I asked her to write the date and time that we checked out and she tried to write a.m. instead of p.m. and when I brought it to her attention, she caught an attitude. I reached out to my booking app and they called the front desk, and they denied my refund. Now the booking app is disputing this for me. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The bathroom ceiling had black mold, papery stuff was hanging from the light, and parts of the ceiling were peeling and cracked open. The shower was DISGUSTING. There were random stains on the wall next to the bed. Obvious grossness that had not been cleaned. I wasn't going to pay for an overpriced hotel, but I was very misled by other reviews thinking this was "middle of the road". It did NOT feel safe after dark. NEVER AGAIN.

The first room we stayed in had blood on the walls and the outlets looked like they’d been blowed up completely black got a new room then There was no smoke detector and roaches in that room there was mold on the dresser , holes in the walls, dirty sheets on the bed, and blood on the wall again behind the bed just all around nasty and it’s no refunds place is definitely not up to code

Everything was dirty, dirt on the floors, dust strands hanging from the ceiling. Hair on all the linnens and countertops, toilet hadnt been cleaned, parts of the ceiling had actually fallen down, there was mold in the shower tiles. Our door room didnt lock.

Make sure you ask about heat and air options There was a space heater for heat and box fan for air 1 sheet on bed and thin blanket We froze the first night, the next morning we went and asked for more covers she gave us one more blanket and said every room has the space heater

The maintenance man was awesome getting the heat turned on quick and getting extra pillows for us since there was only 2 on the king size bed. The stairs closest to our room were closed so we had to walk around the building to our room. The site says it's $50 deposit but they charged us $100 deposit which we did get back but still it shouldn't say one thing and be a complete other.

I knew I wasn't pay for luxury but I was happy with the accommodations and the front desk folks were so nice and helpful! We actually got check in a few hours early which was extremely helpful to us. I realize they may not always be able to do this but the fact that they did made the stay that much more enjoable.

Booked through Expedia which showed the hotel provided airport transport via shuttle . When attempting to book said shuttle during a layover, was advised by the hotel that they don’t have one. We ended up renting a car at 10PM as an Uber was $80 one way. The hotel is less than 2 miles from the airport. I almost could have thrown a rock and hit it. When we arrived at the hotel in our $300 2 day rental car, they did not have my reservation. Ended up on the phone for 1.5 hours trying to translate between Expedia and the hotel. Was told by the hotel that I needed to pay again if I wanted a room. It’s now close to midnight. Finally got a supervisor from Expedia who was able straighten out the room situation. Was finally given a key to our dirty room, 2 microscopic bath towels (I think), no hand towel, 1 hangar and no amenities whatsoever. The staff was very unfriendly and seemed to think the whole problem was my fault. No apologies or kindness shown at all! I realize that this is an economy hotel but this was sub-par even for that category.

Was a legitimate smex trafficking area. Rooms were disgusting and smelled like sewage. There were lookouts around premises and people were going in and out of same rooms consistently. We left after a few hours as we did not feel safe. The room locks were kicked off and there were bugs and damage to both rooms. I asked for a different room after we first entered. There was one mini pillow on a king bed. Worst experience with a hotel in 30 years and I live in south GA. I dont expect nice for the price, but this was legit a episode of CSI. I had a ten year old with me and wouldnt let her stay there as a parent considering the approaches from the randoms around the premises.

We don't mind going cheap and aren't as picky as most travelers. However this is definitely the worst hotel we have stayed at. There was trash leftover from the previous stay. The celing was falling apart at the door. The pillows were flat. The floor was so dirty it made your feet black when walking barefoot. The location was at least closr to the attractions we went to.

The property is nicely located for visiting downtown Nashville and the Grand Oldy Opry. The man who checked me in was very polite and helpful. I didn't expect much since you get what you pay for as they always say. However this hotel is very run down and is very slum like. My room was in disrepair with mirror ripped off the door, rotting ceiling in shower with missing tile, front door not sealed properly with safety chain missing, very well worn paint on walls, and some bugs crawling on the floor. I stayed there since it was only two nights but I thought how could you rent out a room like this? No pride in ownership. I'm sure there are other budget motels in the area that are more habitable. I would look elsewhere.

I honestly didn’t want to judge based on other reviews, definitely stayed because the price was low, but it’s not the cleanest, staff is very nice there are good stores nearby and a restaurant right next door, the floors are dirty, my room smelled like cigarettes, i was able to shower and sleep. Definitely not the cleanest option or prettiest.

This place is a sh!thole. The room stinks. The air conditioner does nothing but move the stink around. They’ll try and change you more than the quote. The “free coffee” is empty or cold. They advertise luggage lockup but there’s none. The worst room I have ever stayed at. The stink in the room was the worst think about it.

1. Actually i did not like the fact that when i booked the options included breakfast and shuttle but when i arrived after paying the receptionist said there was neither shuttle nor breakfast provided. 2. Another thing you should priorly let customers know that they will leave 50$ at the desk after check in.
