Comfort Inn White House

Can't ignore the facts that the hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, but on the breakfast scene, go next door to Cracker Barrel. On a Saturday night there were only three or four cars in the parking lot which should have been a sign there were issues with this location! Checking into our room for four, there were only three bath towels, three face cloths, and three hand towels, and only one partial roll of toilet tissue. At breakfast, the waffle batter was very watered down which resulted in less than firm waffles. The "butter" was presented in a large plastic container for all to share, the scrambled eggs from a bag were less then appealing, and only instant oatmeal was offered. Four of us traveling together in one room had reserved two queen beds. When we checked out we learned we were charged an additional $174 for a room for two occupants, that we did not book. In the process of making our reservation initially our Choice Rewards were rejected. We only received a confirmation for the one two queen-bed reservation. The general manager at the desk provided a receipt for both rooms but said there was nothing he could do about the extra $174 charge as it was due to a no-show policy. I will be contacting the corporate office regarding this matter and probably contesting the $174 charge to my credit card. There are plenty of other hotels at this location, I would suggest selecting one of those!

Clean room, hotel was very clean, and friendly staff.

Great place to stay, convenient to everything. Very clean and hotel staff was accommodating. The only negative is we could hear everything outside the hotel, dogs barking and of course fireworks (it was 4th of July weekend). Overall great experience.
