Villas in poor condition . No air conditioning & very hot. Cockroaches at night. Leaflet about site said sunbeds free at MaiTai but weren’t. Cost 6Euros per day if a resident. Told reception many people were unhappy about that.

Buongiorno, la struttura ci è piaciuta molto ed il personale molto gentile. Le uniche cose un po’ negative sono state, il campo da tennis un po’ trascurato (manca la rete da un lato e spesso si perdono le palline), i lettini della piscina molto rovinati. Essendo nel campo della ristrutturazione direi che alcune cose nelle le camere andrebbero modernizzate…noi cacciamo pavimentazioni in resina (che va sopra alle piastrelle)..se avete bisogno contattateci. 334 6584776.

Stayed 26 Nov - 01 Dec. No.56 Beachfront (with Seaview). Hotel Private beach was excellent as was on the doorstep, had loads of fish in it that swam up to you and were entertaining when you fed them with bread and the free use of Paddle Boards and Kayak was a bonus. The apartment was nice and as advertised - Only issues we had were the mattress was a little uncomfortable (but that could be put down to personal preeference) and the lack of airconditioning. The staff were helpful and courteous. We didn't use any of the restaurants so cant comment. We used the Mai Thai Bar at the end of our firsr night, which was a Saturday, and we had a blast. The hotel in general had a nice relaxed feel to it, was quite quiet which is expected at this time of year, and was nicely located away from the hustle and bustle. Hammonds Sports Bar is right across the road from Reception. Hiperdino Supermarket is a further 5 minute dander and then the main areas of bars/restaurants are another 5 or so minute dander. These can be walked to via the seafront too but will take a little longer and if dark will require some sort of torch for a small section. We would definitely recommend to others to come.........Enjoy!!

Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff, great kids club. The hotel is in a wonderful location not far from the airport. We loved the private beach. The hotel is quiet and peaceful in the evening which is something we liked but if you want evening entertainment this hotel may disappoint you.

Limited sunbeds around pool areas, very old and on need of replacing. Bar in main building closed. Bar area at the lido over inflated prices, food very poor except for breakfast which was good value & good quality. Apartments are showing their age now and on ended of investment which doesn’t seem to be happening

No bar to drink in. No atmosphere. Glad I stayed here as a base for sports because of I’d stayed just for a holiday I’d have been bored.

I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. A shout out to all the staff, you are amazing. Would I return - definitely

We had a beachfront apartment and it was lovely, ideal being able to let the kids out directly onto the beach. The whole resort is brilliant for kids, selection of swimming pools is amazing

Was quite impressed with the facilities especially for the price I paid. The room (small apartment) was a generous size but the bed was very uncomfortable and the wind was noisy against the old windows. As was the beeping from machinery backing onto the property from the early hours. The room needs updating as not just were fixtures and fitting dates but some were leaky/loose. The balcony was a lovely space quite private. The layout was pleasant too and was quiet apart from the work behind the building.

Flat was outdated and looked like it had not been renovated since the 90s. Floor boards broken and swinging up and down when walked on. Bath tub had cigarette burns- put me off having a bath and showering. Sofa was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned or changed since the hotel first opened. I did not want to sit on it. No amenities in the hotel such as salt and pepper or even water. Room did not have AC- very hot night, no fan. Had to go ask reception for a fan. However it was delivered promptly. Positives: staff were very nice and polite. Easy to check in and out. Close to the beach but not a pretty beach. Island bar/restaurant charged for sun chairs which I did not like- if you are a member of the hotel you should not be charged or be charged a reduced rate such as €1-2 not €6.

I booked a Superior Apartment, 1 Bedroom, Beach View through Expedia. In reality, there is no beach in this area, so the description was misleading from the start. The apartment itself was in unacceptable condition: Dirty rooms and terrace. Sofa so badly stained it was unusable. Hot room with no proper ventilation – the back window could not be opened due to extremely loud pile-driving from nearby construction, and foul odors from rotting plants and animal excrement directly outside. 19 stairs to the apartment with no lift or assistance, which was not mentioned. I reported these issues immediately and asked to cancel, but the receptionist, while friendly, was not helpful. I could not remain in the accommodation. After a difficult process with Expedia, I eventually received a full refund, but only after repeated escalations. Travelers should be aware: this property is run down, misrepresented, and not suitable for a comfortable stay.

Stayed here before and it doesn't disappoint. From check in straight forward and everything explained Room was aa i expected spacious clean and beds comfy. Onky disappointment is the sofa, you feel tge springs for the bed settee. Plenty off hot water for a shower etc. Abit of noise from the building works opposite but hotel can not control that. This visist breakfast was included, great variety, fresh and hot, would rather have the bacon more well done but thats my preference. Definitely stay again

After a mix up with other accommodation we had to make an emergency booking on the day. So our experience of the hotel was brief. However it was also a very pleasant one. The service from the staff at check in was spot on and took very little time. The room was surprisingly large and had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and there was a bath as well as a shower which pleased the wife!! Overall we had a short but very pleasant stay, so i would recommend it.

Was quite impressed with the facilities especially for the price I paid. The room (small apartment) was a generous size but the bed was very uncomfortable and the wind was noisy against the old windows. As was the beeping from machinery backing onto the property from the early hours. The room needs updating as not just were fixtures and fitting dates but some were leaky/loose. The balcony was a lovely space quite private. The layout was pleasant too and was quiet apart from the work behind the building.

I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. A shout out to all the staff, you are amazing. Would I return - definitely

After a mix up with other accommodation we had to make an emergency booking on the day. So our experience of the hotel was brief. However it was also a very pleasant one. The service from the staff at check in was spot on and took very little time. The room was surprisingly large and had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and there was a bath as well as a shower which pleased the wife!! Overall we had a short but very pleasant stay, so i would recommend it.

This was our first visit to the resort and I have to say we had a great time. The staff we lovely and the resort with lovely and clean. Our room could do with a little TLC but don't let that put you off. Definitely would go back as it's a great for familys. Thanks to everyone for making it such a great holiday.

Stayed 26 Nov - 01 Dec. No.56 Beachfront (with Seaview). Hotel Private beach was excellent as was on the doorstep, had loads of fish in it that swam up to you and were entertaining when you fed them with bread and the free use of Paddle Boards and Kayak was a bonus. The apartment was nice and as advertised - Only issues we had were the mattress was a little uncomfortable (but that could be put down to personal preeference) and the lack of airconditioning. The staff were helpful and courteous. We didn't use any of the restaurants so cant comment. We used the Mai Thai Bar at the end of our firsr night, which was a Saturday, and we had a blast. The hotel in general had a nice relaxed feel to it, was quite quiet which is expected at this time of year, and was nicely located away from the hustle and bustle. Hammonds Sports Bar is right across the road from Reception. Hiperdino Supermarket is a further 5 minute dander and then the main areas of bars/restaurants are another 5 or so minute dander. These can be walked to via the seafront too but will take a little longer and if dark will require some sort of torch for a small section. We would definitely recommend to others to come.........Enjoy!!

Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff, great kids club. The hotel is in a wonderful location not far from the airport. We loved the private beach. The hotel is quiet and peaceful in the evening which is something we liked but if you want evening entertainment this hotel may disappoint you.

The resort is quite tired in places, the apartments are of varying quality as many are privately owned, some of the bathrooms are very scruffy and need updating, no cleaning products in villas, crockery wasn’t very clean. The paint is peeling in main public walkways, no 24 hr reception, no porter assistance with luggage. The on site supermarket is well stocked, it is a pleasant walk along coastal path.

Cleanliness was good daily. Rooms are incredibly dated & old fashioned (1990s), tv did not work, no aircon, cockroaches in apartment, patio doors insecure when locked. Food choice & quality was very poor (had to eat out & several friend very sick after food), restaurant didn’t accept card (who carries cash in 2024). Pool was freezing. Rooms not grassy on time. No bar to drink in. No atmosphere. Glad I stayed here as a base for sports because of I’d stayed just for a holiday I’d have been bored.

Stayed here before and it doesn't disappoint. From check in straight forward and everything explained Room was aa i expected spacious clean and beds comfy. Onky disappointment is the sofa, you feel tge springs for the bed settee. Plenty off hot water for a shower etc. Abit of noise from the building works opposite but hotel can not control that. This visist breakfast was included, great variety, fresh and hot, would rather have the bacon more well done but thats my preference. Definitely stay again

Es war ein rundum wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Ich war sehr sehr positiv überrascht von dem Essen. Dieses Abend- und Morgenbuffet schlägt die meisten Restaurants! Alleine wegen dem Essen würde ich schon wiederkommen! Das Hotel und das Mobiliar an sich ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber es wird gut gepflegt und ich komme gerne wieder! Tolle Atmosphäre in den Zimmern und Pool direkt vor der Tür, was will man mehr?
